We are home...

Hi everyone! We are home and full of sand. ha ha Every year for the 4th of July our family and DH extended family take a trip to the beach. There is nothing like a fireworks show on the beach so very cool. Very relaxing and time well spent for each year. We started off with a bit of fun though. We have taken this trip for 10 year now same beach, same house for the most part, same travel route. On the way there my FIL missed an important turn we had to take so needless to say we took an hour detour through downtown Salem. Not too bad but with a puppy for the first time on an extended road trip we want to get there when we can, ya know. Well in our little detour some of the luggage shifted and landed on Ranger. He wasn't hurt but we had to pull over and rearrange stuff again. We are on the side of the road taking stuff out and moving it all around. Remember this part... So we get it all done and back on the road on the right turn and make it to the beach fine. Wonderful weather a little windy each day but over all sunshine and beautiful weather.

Above is a family photo one day. Ranger even looked up for the picture. He was excited to be on the beach and run around like a mad man. I have a nice suntan and look like a racoon from my sunglassed. EEK...

Here is one of my boys all together. Don't they look so cute? See how they have shoes on? Well remember the part where we had to repack on the side of the road from stuff shifting? Well we get to the beach and that evening I wanted to wear my shoes. We couldn't find them anywhere so we thought we left my shoes on the side of the road, so we thought. Luckily I can wear the boys shoes and we brought each of them 2 pairs, so I wasn't completely without warm toes at night. I didn't miss the chance to give DH a hard time about it and tease him every chance I got though. Below is Ranger laying in the nice muddy water for us to clean later. He was so full of sand and mud this whole trip but worth all the fun he had I am sure. I like this picture of him.

Here you will find all three of my boys up on a huge cliff that had some sort of land slide since we were here last year. See the boys? how about Ranger? Grandpa is over seeing how high they are getting and having a fit on the left here. ha ha Ranger had to go and make sure they weren't doing anything they were not suppose to. He is on the left up by one of the boys, see him?

Now for the funniest part with the shoe story, we get home and look what is on the steps by the garage door??? yep my shoes... DH didn't leave them on the side of the road after all. OOPS... hee hee We had fun with it anyways. Now for laundry, groceries and catching up! Tomorrow is Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peeks for the next 4 days. So be sure to check back at all the new eye candy. Have a wonderful day.
