A-Maize-ing day

Today over on the Power Poppy Blog we have the new Instant Digi for the day called Maize For Days. You can see this new digi and all our others in the store HERE. Pinterest has some super cool images of maize corn and I found this really cool one that inspired me. If you google just "maize corn" you can find some beautiful colored kernals as well.

I really wanted the image to pop with the different colors against the white space and I think I nailed it. This turned out super pretty and colorful and it will be just the ticket for my friend. The sentiment could not of come at a better time, Thanks Ally! My sweet friend needs a little smile as of late so this will be perfect.

After the image was made a bit larger for my panel, it was printed and colored with Copic markers. The photo above had those beautiful orange and browns and yellows that just made for a great inspiration piece. Printed the sentiment onto vellum and place over the image. Voila! Hope you have time to print and play today! hee hee  See you back here tomorrow for our Friday creations!

Oh, Stacy, this is gorgeous! I just love your corn with such wonderful colors, and what a great bow! And, yes, Ally's sentiment is perfect, and I love how you've used it on vellum over the top with those fabulous dots...what a gorgeous card and so wonderfully CAS and rich! I love it! Hugs!

So pretty, that touch of blue ribbon is a great contrast to the warm colours of the corn :)
