Snowy Cottage

For those that check today you get a sneak peek at the Christmas Challenge this month. This months DD/DDA challenge is winter cottage. Most people are planning their summer trips to the beach house or cottage, well let's think winter instead. Create using a winter house scene, chimney scene or even a door front that is ready for christmas. Anyone can play, use keywords SCSCCJUN12 if you load to SCS. We would love to see your creations.
This stamp I am told is from PSX called Snowy Cottage, as the stamp was a gift and the info is no longer on the wood stamp. I believe the company no longer is in business, sorry. I really do love this image. The fancy design on the bottom is using Spellbinders Classic Decorative Inserts three edgeabilities. The look it gives a card is fabulous I think. Some sparkle was added to the snow and ofcourse who could resist these beautiful primas made by my friend Pat. hee hee Hope you can play along with us this month! Have a great day.

Congratulations

Happy day! Yep I told you I spent the extra day this weekend stamping with my new Whiff of Joy Summer secret kit. I am having a blast with these images.Talk about adorable. I really think I might have to order all the secret kits if they are anything like this. This is a wedding card for my SIL that is getting married in June. She got the bridal shower card that I made and loved it. I know you are tired of the Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles already, I can't help it. Just look how beautiful it creates a frame. Used yes... Cherry Lynn flourishes on this one as well. And yes my Pat Primas. Do you see a pattern lately? Well.... when its all on the stamp table sometimes you just have to go with it. ha! I did add one of the mini doilies I bought to the back for some flair. I love how this turned out and I know my SIL is going to love it. I think I have found a new mouse to love. Now I have these and House Mouse. yea!
Well I spoke to soon on Monday. Now the kids are signed up for a week of soccer camp, basketball camp and then VBS right after. So the month of June is full. ;0) Atleast these are only 2 hours each day. We will start the summer off with a bang as they say. Thanks for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day.

TPE150 Just a note

Happy Tuesday! Did you have a nice extra long weekend? We sure did as we were busy, however I got time to stamp yea! This is for the Pink Elephant challenge 150. They have a awesome photo inspritation.
The polka dots were easy as I knew I would use the Swiss Dots folder for that, the red's and creams were the colors of choice. The stamp is from Whiff of Joy's Summer surprise kit that I got last week. I have had so much fun with this set you will see in the coming days. I just adore the whole set and have inked up just about each one of them this weekend. ha! I got my Cherry Lynn Flourishes and I can't seem to put that down either. I really like how this turned out. Thisis the last melon as Ice age would say with my brown Pat prima. Yep used my very last one, I wonder what that means? Pat???? hee hee You know I am kidding! The frame shape is with Spellbinders Labels Eight one of my favorite shapes they have. Hope you have a fabulous day! Thanks for stopping in with me today!

Summer Sports

Totally Stampalicious is ready for summer! Yep the challenge today is summertime. Create a summer themed creation. I bet you are wondering what is she thinking with this summer creation. WELL.... the boys are usually in sports for the summer and I make the coaches thank you cards. So I am ahead of the game as they say and have my first thank you card done. Only problem is we don't have them signed up for any sports yet. EEK! They can't decide what they want to play this summer. If I am lucky we might be sport free for the summer, whohoo! Bad mom I know, but sometimes a break is a good thing. We just got done with soccer as much fun as that was for two seasons I am ready for a break. Back to my creation, this is using the adorable A+ Bears for my card. The sketch is from CardPatterns sketch 167 this week. My main panel might be a hair smaller than the sketch but it works I think. Easy Peasy!
Hope you can join us this week! Have a great day.

FS277 It's a Shower

This weeks Featured Stamper is Susanbri. She has a darling gallery with lots of CAS style creations. Lots of Christmas ones also, but I needed a card for a bridal shower so I cased this Baby Shower card. Kept the colors, oval frame and simplicity. Changed the stamps, didn't have shimmery paper but I used my swiss dots folder and added pearls. This image is in my new Summer Kit from Whiff of Joy! I got it on Thursday and I ADORE the set. Oh my goodness.... all the stamps in this kit are totally adorable. I have never done a kit without seeing all the images, so I thought why not. I loved seeing all the sneaks with this image alone. I am so GLAD that I ordered it as I already have a few images colored up and working on the cards. hee hee Doesn't a new stamp set just get you all excited? Well it does me. ha! This was for my SIL who can do an english accent very well. She just loved the card. Ofcourse put a few of my Pat prima's on here to make it extra special. I hope you get to play along with us this week. Have a wonderful day!

Top Shot Birthday Party

Our family really likes the show Top Shot. Of course since hubby does competition shooting that is not a surprise. In some of the major matches for USPSA we have meet several of the contestants before. Remember when I posted (HERE) about Vegas? We got to meet some of the contestants from Top Shot that are not in the competition world, but were on the show.
The twins wanted to have a Top Shot Birthday Party. I made the invites below and included inside to please bring eye protection. Most parents would probably freak out if they saw that on the invite, not our kids friends. ha! They are pretty familiar with our families hobby. I made the bullet holes with my piercing tool and copic E25.

Here is a little video we edited from the party of the kids shooting their stages.

The birthday boys and their bullseye cupcakes from the party. The placemats are targets we cut out and placed at each kids seat. Curtis still has his safety glasses on and Nathan is making a silly face. The kids had so much fun!

Thanks for taking a peek at our biggest joy in life! This sure was a fun day. Have a wonderful day.
