Last day sneaks Scenic and Psalms

Last day of sneak peeks for Clear Dollar Stamps March sets. All the sets you have seen the last few days will be available tomorrow March 1st. This scripture is Psalms 37:3-5. I used again some primas that DH got me for Christmas and some crochet ribbon. I highlighted some of the words with a marker. And yes I used buttons... hee hee

This nest set is a fabulous tree set called Scenic Trees. Oh I love all the different ones in this set. You will too trust me. I went with a seasons theme on this card. Scored the top and bottom and all done. I love how this turned out.

Sneak Day 3 Snails, Mouse and Jesus

Day 3 of Clear Dollar Stamps March sets. Have you liked what you have seen so far? I hope so. Here we have for you the set called Pippin Mouse Family. I made my first suspension card. Isn't she just darling swinging? Oh the boys even thought that it was cute... for a girl card. ha-ha

This next one is a fabulous Easter set called Jesus paid it all. Oh this little tomb image is just awesome and packs so much meaning. I have a few cards already with this set ready to mail out. I kept this very simple, and I also used some of the primas that DH got me for Christmas.

Now who doesn't like snails? Infact my good friend Jules loves snails and I think I will have to mail her some images. This is called Snail mail. I turned this little guy into a valentine card for the girls at DH work.

Sneaks day 2 Sassy, Daisy and Dylan

***Second post, For Flourishes Blog Hop see below post***

Clear Dollar Stamps has some darling sets and sneaks for you today. This first one is called Dylan boy. Isn't he just sweet. I used the stone wall in the set for him and his friend to sit on. I had some frames cut out and thought it would look cool to be looking outside at them.

This little darling is called Daisy girl. She has such a cute little look and her little stool that I paper pieced her onto is just too fun. I grabbed some dp that I got from who knows what craft store and went with that for my colors.

Now this is Sassy and Fabulous isn't it. Well that is the name of the set Sassy and Fabulous. I bought this ribbon at Joann's because I just loved the colors, so that was my inspiration for this card.

Reminder all sets you are seeing are available on March 1st. See you back here tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Jan Marie

*** Second post today. For Clear Dollar Stamps Sneaks Peeks see below post***
Happy Birthday Jan. In honor of Jan's birthday we have this fun set called Let them eat cake. This set is available in the new store here. We hope you've enjoyed our Hopping Through the Decades Celebration so far. If you're just now tuning in, be sure to start at the beginning here! If you are already hopping you should of just hopped from Betty Wright.
Now I bet a lot of you have been reminiscing and having a little giggle too. Who could forget the leg warmers of the 80’s? How about the TV shows like 90210 or the A-Team? Well, we are continuing our mini hop today that started with Dawn Burnworth.
Who is ready to remember those big hair days when Aqua Net ruled! Well I am all about the 90's. yep I was a 90's girl alright. I had all kinds of things to gow tih but I choose the cell phone bust out of the 90's. Did you know that 55 percent of the population had cell phones by 1999. And now think about who doesn't have a cell phone.

I made a cute little flip phone. I used the darling cupcake on the front. I used some metallic paper on the cell phone, which really reflects in your pictures. Below is the inside where I put one of the sentiments from the set. Isn't this so cute and fun. NOTHING like those huge brick gray phones that they first came out with. Sheesshh... Talk about stone age! bawhahahha
Your next hop is over to Latisha Yoast! Remember, you can win our new Let Them Eat Cake set drawn by artist Becky Fleck. All you need to do is leave a little love on our designer's blogs. If you comment on all 14 posts in the hop, come back to Fridays post on the blog and leave a message saying, "I hopped through the decades with Jan Marie!" We will then randomly draw 2 names on Saturday at 12 pm CST from all those who participated. The winners will receive the Let them Eat Cake stamp set along with some other goodies!

Sneaks Day 1 Turtles, Daisy and Charliene

Whohoo I love Sneak Peeks. They are so fun and such teasers. hee hee So today Clear Dollar Stamps has Patchpal Turtle. I made my first ever Easel card with this little guy. Isn't he just darling. This was sent out to a little one named Hayden. I sure hope this made the family smile.

This next one is called Daisy Duo. I stamped the sentiment on a spellbinders label and popped it up. I like the colors of the cameo coral and the currant together.
Now this little morning beauty just makes me giggle. This is Charliene in the morning. Her curlers in her mane are what crack me up. This is a totally CUTE set!

Be sure to check out the other girls sneaks today:

Showers and berries

I sure haven't given any of my House Mouse stamps any love lately. So I pulled out one and started coloring. House mouse are so relaxing and fun, you can't help but grin at them. I added some sparkle to the water but its hard to see it in the photo. I used the spellbinders framing for the back. Very simple but darling end result.

Criss cross Carousel

I love criss cross fold cards because they are so different from the traditional fold. Here I used the set Enchanted Carousel from CDS. I stamped the swag along the panel and then kept it very clean with just the sentiment on the outside.

Below is a picture of the card insert pulled out. These are very simple to make. Finished it off with a little hook and ribbon on the top.
For you Digi lovers out there, be sure to stop by Totally Stampalicious blog. They are getting digi with it. Yep they are giving some free digi's away and they are selling single or package deals. So be sure to stop on by and check it out. Have a great day.

Isn't this the cutest bushel of clovers. I used the new set from Flourishes called Irish Blessing. You still have time to get the entire release at the bundle price. You don't want to miss out on the sale. I added some crochet ribbon with the gingham to the background. Scored the edges and popped up the panel. A few brads on the wrapping and done! Very clean and crisp... perfect. :0) Hope you have a great day!

Celebrate Friendship- Let's have Tea

Happy Thursday! We are just one day away from our Power Hour Release party tomorrow night at 9pm Central time in the SCS Forums. Hope you can make it to the release. Your chance to win this set today is on the newsletter.
Today Flourishes brings you Lets have Tea. This set is so pretty, I have enjoyed playing with this set. First I have a thank you card that I made with the springy colors that are not outside right now. lol I wanted to feel the spring with all this cold and rain we have been having. So this is what I came up with. This is one of the tea pots in the set.

Next is a gift set with another tea pot image in the set. Now this is a going green project I guess you could say. I buy the boys these pre packaged apple slices for their school snack. Its easier for me than slicing them some weeks and if my grandmother heard this she would chew my butt. Anyways... These clear boxes are just adorable, so I got the idea to make a little gift set with it.

So the top view is just that the top view of the box. When you open the top the panel on the front has the same panel on the back so pretty inside and out. Below is some of the contents of the gift box. Now I have a few more things I put in here, but I didn't show them to you. Why? Because I am not sure they have received the package yet, and if you saw the treats in here they would know it was *their* gift and ruin the surprise. lol So its a secret for now. hee hee But I sure hope they like it.

Tthe card is using a beautiful background stamp called Tea Rose background. It makes for a great focus like this one, or even a wonderful background. I used it as the focus with the sentiment on this card. These candles are called Lively energy, its a mild scent but so relaxing. Especially in the tub. aaaawwwwhhhhh.... :0) I do love my baths. So of course I have a few of these candles for me too. hee hee
So check out the girls wonderful creations and see you back here tomorrow!

Celebrate Life- From the Garden

Welcome to day one of Flourishes Feb Sneak Peeks. All these sets are available Friday 12th at 10 PM Central time. Don't forget about the Power Hour Release party Friday night at 9pm Central time in the SCS Forums. You have more chances to win this set over on the newsletter today.
The girls and I have some beautiful creations to share with you the next few days. I hope you have had a chance to play along in our *What's your cup or tea challenge over on the newsletter. It is your chance to win our entire Feb Release. Now why wouldn't you play along. Today we are showing you the set called From the Garden. This is a beautiful set that will be a go to set. I have made a few gifts for you to see today. This first one is a little drawer box with a set of cards for the boys teacher. She just LOVED this to say the least. I got the template from Holly aka Toy. She is more than willing to share the template, just email her and ask. Below is a picture of the cards in the box. I have made a few of each card. Very cute little packaging I think.

This next little gift was made for my sweet friend Leslie. She has a beautiful garden from the pictures I have seen and she spends most of her time (when she isn't stamping) in her garden. So I made a little tag to hold some packets of seeds and some cute little pink polka dotted gloves for her. The magazine was the hardest to choose from. They have so many and I finally went with this one that was chucked full of info and gorgeous pictures. Needless to say Leslie loved it. :0)

Below is a close up of the tag. I can't get great close up pictures, I appologize for that. But this will have to do. lol

Now head on over to the girls blogs and check out their gorgeous creations today:

This goes out to my good friend Angel, who I have had the pleasure of taunting the last 2 weeks. Oh this is hard to swallow... I even sent her a Cookie Bouquet with Colts football shaped players. Oh what a surprise that was for the Saints Fan in her house. hee hee A few phone calls, text messages and emails as well. But who's counting... lol Each year we have this little game going with our teams. And finally we got to have a SB together, WHOHOOO.... Maybe next year for my Colts! I made these cards for us and they were on the TV for the game, you will be getting your cards in the mail shortly girlie! Hugs...
We had a blast at the house and everyone enjoyed the food. Now to get ready for next season... Oh the waiting just kills me... lol

I am excited about this months releases (when am I not) but that is besides the point. I have made a few gifts for some very sweet and wonderful friends. I am really excited to share them with you, so be sure to check back.
The first thing that came to mind was my coffee in the morning. I jump start my day with a cup of coffee and checking my email. Its is a good way for me to wake up in the morning before the boys get out of bed. Now I put a creamer in my coffee so its more like a caramel color. The pkg of the coffee is green and cream colored. I used the Angelic love set and my favorite sentiment in the set. This beautiful paper is MB Gossamer and I love this paper. This can be a great friendship card, thought of you or even a Valentine card. I really like how this turned out. Be sure to check out the girls cup of tea:

The month of love....

I love Valentines day it has to be my second favorite holiday. I have a thing for hearts, you should see our bathroom. hee hee Valentines day always brings out the heart decorations at the stores. Oh yea... I made a few simple Valentines for the girls at DH work. This is one of them they will have for anyone they choose. I used the stamp I Love Roses from Flourishes and the Damask. The camera didn't capture the Damask very well on the red heart, sorry about that.
