Birthday beach

Now this is what I am talking about right here. Calming...relaxing... so not the cold and chilly weather we have right now. ha!  The Free For All challenge over on SCS was Blues and Browns, perfect as I needed a birthday card for one of the guys at DH work. So I pulled out my Impression Obsession stamp called Path to the beach. I stamped the image onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.

Colored the image with copic markers and popped the panel up on dimensionals. Added two fish tale tabs and some brads. Voila, Easy Peasy!
Took the twins to the doctor yesterday as they are not feeling well and sick. :(   Hoping they start to feel better this weekend. Hope you have a sick free relaxing weekend.

You're a classic FS299

Good morning! Today I have a masculine case for our Featured Stamper Challenge 299. This weeks FS is Janine aka nines. This classic card was perfect for a case today as I am in a masculine create mood, if there is such a mood, ha!  I kept with a classic ride, the colors, layout and sentiment. I changed the stamp to Classic Truck from Impression Obsession and colored with various copics. Added a few brads to mine and done. Great masculine card and super easy. Hope you get to play along with us this week.
On a personal note DS is doing well. We went in for another x-ray Wed. and got a new cast with new colors, he was pretty excited. We go through this all again in 2 weeks, which is all new to us. We thought you had a cast on the whole time and never changed them out, guess not. Every 2 weeks he will be getting a new one it looks like. The last one might just be a forearm cast as of right now he is in a full arm cast still. The swelling had gone down considerably and this x-ray actually showedhe broke both bones, however the other break was very small and hardly noticable. We did get the sign of NO surgery or pins needed. Praise God! Things have been interesting around the house and school. I am writing more school work than I have in a long time.  :0)  Brother has been a big help with chores. Looks like it will be closer to 8-10 weeks in the casts,  longer than anticipated. DS has pretty good spirits about it, although being a boy and so active it makes recess and play time a bit more challenging.  Thanks for the prayers for DS and for mom and dad. Have a great day!

My new Impression Obsession stamps came yesterday. Whohoo!! This is called Path to the Beach. Isn't that just so inviting? Used some scraps on the table from my Smethers trouble yesterday. hee hee I have stickles on the water but its hard to see. I am so excited to get these stamps as they really add to my masculine selection of images. YEA! I really like the long and low cards and once I do one I seem to do a lot of them. :0) Off to a pool party for the boys. Hope you can play along this week in the challenges! Have a great day!
