Precious and Few Peonies

I know what your thinking... GASP how does she do it? I don't mean me, I mean Marcy! The woman has talent and to color her drawings is incredible. Check out the new Digi for our May Release called Peonies. YUMMY!!  This digi is available NOW, so you can color right away! But before you head off to buy your new Digi let me share my card with you.
For my card, I have a little bit of fussy cutting on this one but I love how it turned out. My Peonies are colored with Copic markers and then cut around with dimensionals added to the back. I wanted some gingham like paper for my background and a simple layer of white card stock for the frame. Wrapped some white lace trim and ribbon tied into a bow with a wooden button. Voila!

FS377 Gerbera Daisies for mom

You know what today is? Well besides Sunday and our Featured Stamper Challenge... It is Power Poppy's new release! I know it has been a month already from our debute and what a debute it was! We sure are excited to show you the new creations from the talented Marcella!  Here is a little note from Marcella...

At Power Poppy, we want to give in to your inner voice that craves instant gratification! Each Friday during May, we'll usher in challenges designed around our new and beautiful digi images! We can't wait to see what you create!

My creation is for this weeks Featured Stamper 377 Priscilla aka catluvr2. I choose this Lace Layer card to case. I kept the over all layout, a flower with three blooms. I changed the colors, flower, kept the sentiment but popped mine up and instead of lace trim along the side added the fancy cut at the bottom.
This is Gerbera Daisies. Oooohhhhhaaaahhhh right!  :-)  My petals are colored with Copic markers and die cut in a Spellbinders Oval frame. I also used my new Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders Two die for a beautiful trimmed edge at the bottom. Some textures to my background with swiss dots folder, you can never go wrong with that one. Added a yellow button to bring out some of the yellow in the petals and voila!

May I be willing

Today is Our Daily Bread designs rewind of the latest release. Some beautiful creations with the newest goodies you surely do not want to miss from everyone. Check out the ODBD Blog for more details.

I went with a blue and white creation (imagine that) with stamp set The Cross. First is a base layer of white card stock, with some of the beautiful patterned paper Christian Faith Collection  layered next. I didn't want to cover up all that beautiful paper so I die cut the awesome Vintage Flourish Pattern ODBD Custom die with white card stock. Before I added that to the front of the card, I pulled through my ribbon so I could tie a bow in the center. Then added dimensionals to the die and layered onto the designer paper. Die cut the sentiment using Elegant Ovals ODBD Custom die and added a tiny cross from the new Ornamental Crosses ODBD Custom die. Accented with a few white pearls and voila! I adore how this turned out.

Be sure to check out all the creations from the DT today:

I hope you can play along this week.

I stamped the Azalea onto white card stock and colored with Copics. Scored around the border and layered onto some buttercup yellow card stock. Added dimensionals to the back. Added a soft blue button to match the water in the vase. Then stamped my sentiment below. Voila!

Miss Anya Journal

I altered this $1 journal/notebook that I found at our local craft store. The vibrant pink binding is what drew me to it originally and then for $1 it makes a great gift for the kids. I donated a few like this to the boys school class auction this week. Needless to say they went for a pretty penny (not actual money) but money they earned for the quarter. The girls really liked them so I guess I need to create some more. I have a Altered Notebook Tutorial if you find you want to create your own. See you tomorrow with this weeks Featured Stamper creation. Have a wonderful evening!

Wanted to play with my square shapes so I grabbed some for fun. This paper is from an Authentique pack that I bought a few weeks ago and I am about out. Fresh and springy feeling don't you think? Added some more of my Candi dots and a ribbon bow. Inside is a birthday sentiment. Voila!  Have a wonderful weekend!
