Christmas Roses

Morning! Check this out.. Marcy has another new digi out called Snowdrops and Tea Roses. What a joy this is to color! Yellow is my favorite color of roses so they had to be yellow this first card. :-)  Besides yellow is so cheerful. This image is colored with a variety of Copic markers and then a simple yellow layer behind the panel.

The base has some crochet ribbon and seam binding wrapped around the middle. Added my image panel and then my sentiment tag with a button and twine center to the edge. Easy peasy!

Christmas Stripes

Happy Wednesday! Are all your turkey leftovers gone or are you down to the little bits left? hee hee Ours were gone I think by Sunday ha ha.. Love those left over sandwiches, yumo!

Decided that seeing all these poinsettia's around the blogs that I needed to get mine out and stamp it up today, this is Poinsettia. This is also for the Dirty Dozen Challenge this month since its been forever since I played. I did a lot of faux stitching around the edges of the base and the image panel. Colored with variety of Copic markers and added sparkle to the petals. A few buttons with twine wrapped around the centers. My sentiment die cut and sponged some ink before I removed the die. Voila!

Sales, new digi and aThank you

Happy Black Friday. I hope you have your cup of coffee ready and your list made because Marcy over at Power Poppy has a deal for you! Information regarding sale below.
It is never too early to think about those Christmas thank you cards. In fact this months Power and Spark challenge is all about being thankful. Check it out and play along this month. Amaryllis Bliss was perfect for the thank you cards I need for the office ladies at the school. They were super helpful with the sprinklers that we just finished up for boosters. Always good to thank the ladies in the office for their help. :-) Marcy did put the new Amaryllis bliss into digital format for those that love to play with digi's as well. Woot woot!

Stamped part of the image and die cut with a stitched rectangle die. Colored with various Copic markers. Then die cut another white layer with an ODBD die for the base. My sentiment flat and added to the designer paper base. I took this at a hard angle so you could see the Suduko gel pen I added to the petals. It looks really cool with the gold sequins. Voila!

Now go check out that Black Friday sale and happy shopping!

Merry Little Christmas

Good morning. Like most of you I have my lists complete of what I need to get Wednesday last minute for Thanksgiving. Family will be here Wednesday that is coming into town and I am ready. What I really need to do is finish some last minute cards and gift tags ha ha. Well one less card now with this one using Let Your Heart Be Light. This time I only used the top side of the two part stamp and left the bottom for the decorative piece that I die cut.

My image is colored with Copic markers and some sparkle added. The designer paper was perfect for the base with some silver cord wrapped around the top. I did stamp and cut out a few of the holly for the center by the sentiment. Voila! Thanks for stopping by.

Tag your it

Good morning. Every year I have a few friends that order tags from me which is great since I like making them. Masculine ones are always harder to create but with this guy I am pleased to say its easier. This is from the set Through the Woods stamp set. It is perfect for several of the hunters not only in my family but my friends. Yea!

The image is stamped and colored with Copic markers and then die cut with a heart die. Layered onto a few die cuts of a tag and designer paper for the base. Wrapped some ribbon around the top with a button and twine to tie it off. And of course the added sparkle and voila!

Holiday fun fold

Happy Monday! Now I know my husband sent me a link as a joke, but deep down I know he was thinking of me. He sent me a link to the Hallmark Christmas show schedule for 2018. Yes I admit it, those shows always make me smile and feel good. There... I admitted it. Watched one of those just the other day too. Sometimes you just need something that makes you feel good ;-)
Anyways...
In the Christmas mood how about a creation today using Grandma's Snowflakes and Julie's fun joy fold tutorial found here. The designer paper was my color choices for this card. Here is the front with the card closed. The little edge folds up underneath the button and silver cord combo.

When you open the flaps the inside I stamped two of the snowflakes across the top and bottom in pink and chocolate inks. Pierced around the caramel base with piercing tools. This was super easy and turned out cute.

Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping.

Fall like thank you

Good morning. This is another fall like thank you for the Power and Spark challenge this month over on the PP Blog. Check it out, play along and you might have a chance at winning some PP bucks. This stamp is called Olive and Oak Expanded

Pretty easy peasy for this one. Colored with fall colors and then I cut around the image but not fussy cutting. Now I wish I had fussy cut it but oh well.  ;-)  Popped dimensionals on the back so its raised off the card base. Some swiss dots texture to the middle panel and piercing around the edge of the designer base. Wrapped some twine and a button around the top. Voila!

Football Excitement

John and I are so proud of Curtis and Nathan on an amazing football season. This week they play in the first round of the state football playoffs. This week both boys were awarded Easter Washington Athletic Conference (EWAC) awards. Curtis was named the EWAC Offensive Player of the Year and 1st team Quarterback. Nathan was named 2nd team Defense Linebacker and had Honorable Mention at Running Back. Both are amazing accomplishments. Great job boys, your hard work and dedication has paid off.

This team has been amazing this year. Joshua 1:9 is the verse for the year and what a great verse for these guys. I like the pictures of them in the backfield together.  :-)  Nathan 6 is primarily a Running Back and Curtis 10 is Quarterback. Oh I love watching these guys play!!!

A picture of us all after a win. John sorta got his head cut off, what can ya do with selfies. ha ha  Keep up the hard work! Game is Saturday at 1:00. Wish them luck!

Corgis tag

Happy Monday! What a weekend we had. LCS is officially in the state play off's! Woot woot!!! Played and won Friday night and got ourselves seeded for this coming weekend for the 1st quarter state play off's. I am SO PROUD of this team and all they have worked so hard for. This is huge for them. They finished the league nominations and gave out the info to the coaches but we can't share any of that quite yet. Once I can it will be posted here for you to see, its very EXCITING!!!  For now cheer us on as we go into the week of preparing for Saturday. Woot woot!   How about a quick little tag...

Had to make a few tags for the boys Christmas gifts using Christmas Corgis. Made two of these for them. Pretty easy peasy using an ODBD die for the layering shape. Added an oval tab with a brad in the center for the edge. Stamped the paws on the sentiment tag and some stickles to finish it off. Voila! Happy stamping!

Let's be thankful

Happy Friday and welcome to the November Power and Spark challenge this month over on the Power Poppy Blog. Our lovely host this month is Kathy and her challenge is all about Thankfulness. Create with thanks in mind. Be sure to check out the PP Blog for details and linking your creations this month.

This is a challenge is perfect since I need several thank you cards. I did share the men thank you cards I did a few weeks ago and now it is time for the women thank you cards. This is Planning for Magnolias that I stamped and colored with Copic markers. Then I cut around so that I could pop it up on dimensionals. Some dots texture to the soft pink base and then a die cut using the gingham gray paper. A few fish tale tags under the sentiment and sparkles and sequins to finish it off. Voila!

November Warm Up

Welcome to the November Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge. This month you get to choose between two options. Want to know what they are? Check it out HERE. I used snuggle down for my card today. Stamped and colored the image and layered it onto some chocolate paper. Added some texture to the base white and a strip of designer paper behind. My sentiment panel with a button twine accent and lastly some sparkle. Voila! Hope you can play along this month!
