Happy birthday across the ocean

Happy Birthday... Well let's just say that I was a day late on this card and was rushing to get it finished. Guy cards don't need a lot of fluff though, right? I first stamped the Antique Map onto Classic Kraft card stock using a brown ink. Layered the panel onto some Color Made Easy Rich Brown card stock.

Stamped my Inside and Out Happy onto Classic White card stock, that I then die cut using Perfectly Pierced Classic Hourglass Die. Layered that onto my map panel and the birthday tag. Wrapped some jute twine around the main panels and added some Candi dots to finish it off. Quick yes, but gets the birthday wishes across.

*****Last chance to play in my Bunny Special news Challenge!!!*****

True Love in black and white

Happy day! We are going to a wedding today and I love the black and white style for wedding cards. The new sets are coming here in a few days, but you can pre-order them if you would like. Check it out HERE. I used Be Mine for the sentiment that is stamped using Memento Tuxedo black ink onto a Ornate Heart die cut using white and black card stock. A few pearls to the center and some sparkle around the edges.
The inside is a simple decoration using Beautiful Borders the new die and a piece of black card stock to tie if off. I love the simple look and feel to a classic black and white card. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Heart Mini Album

Supplies

Heart Treat Box die, scissors, adhesive, score tool and card stock

Step 1

Die cut the desired number of pages you would like in the album, including the front and back. Here I have 5 total. On all the hearts except one of them you will want to trim off the tabs on the right hand side and the little bottom one. On one of the hearts you will want the left hand side tab only. See picture and the pre-fold of the card stock after being cut

Step 2

We will start with the back and work our way forward. With one of the hearts you will trim down the tab to about 1/4 card stock left on tab. Adhere tape to the inside of the base heart as shown.

Step 3

This is what it will look like when you first page is added

Step 4

Take your next heart page and trim down leaving half the tab. Add adhesive to your album. Continue on trimming down for each page as you go except for the front heart

Step 5

Add your adhesive to the tab on your front heart.

Step 6

Turn your album over and line up the edges of the tabs for the front heart.

Step 7

here is your album ready to decorate

Step 8

My final heart mini album using I Heart You Maya. Enjoy your new heart mini album

Sweet Wishes

The Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge this month is make new with the old. Grab your older goodies and dust them off to make them feel new again. These guys are an older set from Whiff Of Joy called Betty and Henry Winter Mice that are stamped onto Classic white card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink. Colored them with various Copic markers and popped the panel up on dimensionals. Gathered some white crochet ribbon and seam binding ribbon for a back drop. Die cut a Kraft card stock snowflake with Die Light Large Snowflake. Tied off my sentiment tag with some enamel dots and voila!  Hope you can play along this month! Have a great day.

Honey of a day

I don't know about you but Sunday was a honey of a day in our home. Both our teams, Denver and Seattle are in the Super Bowl! Whohohoo!!! Now come Super Bowl day the house will be divided. ha! Will be a good game, of course I want both to win but only one can walk away the WINNER.  I am so excited!

On to my card today as I used the darling set Bee My Honey that is currently out of stock. However if you have the stamp set we do have the Bee My Honey Silhouette file available for you to use. My images are stamped onto Classic white card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink.
Colored with Copic Collections:

My base is more Classic White card stock and Color Made Easy Sunflower collection. I die cut all the layers using Spellbinders hexagons that I just broke open to play with. Ran some of the wonderful white crochet ribbon down the center and some Color Made Easy Sunflower Antique Gold ribbon. Layered the Hexagon panels and some trailing dots for the bee and an enamel dot for the corner. Voila! Before I go, did you see Flourishes gamblers sale?
