Oct Sneak Peeks CDS Day 3

Be sure to check back this Friday for my Exciting news to share!!!!
Okay are you ready for some rockin sneaks? lol Remember these sets are all available Oct 1st over in Clear Dollar Stamps store.

The cards above and below here are with the set called Rock On. It is such a fun guy set and the boys LOVE it. I made these two scrapplings to put in their lunches last week. They had hit lunches that day, bawhahaha. Okay enough with the funnies. :0) I made this one below with the theme in mind of the Beatles Rock Band that just came out a few weeks ago. I so want that, I like a lot of the Beatles music. I added a little sparkle to the string on the guitar, but again I can't get the light to pick it up again. gggrr....

Today is all about the guys I think because this bottom card is with the set Glory Days designed by Laurie. I stamped the same plane onto a few circles and popped them up on dimensionals. This set has a few sentiments and a few planes. This set will make some great veteran's day cards here in a month as well.

Now off you go to see what the other girls have made today. This is who has sneaks for you:
Lori
Angela
Candy
Cassie
Katie
Kim
Laurie
Linda
Nancy
Sarah
Tricia
Trudy
Thanks for stopping by. Tomorrow is last day of sneak peeks, be sure to check it out.

MMM Buttons buttons, whos got the buttons....

I think this is the second time we have done the button thing and I am getting a little better with it. LOL But again not very creative with them, unlike most of you. House Mouse and Friends blog challenge for the next 2 weeks is all about buttons. Show us how you use your buttons on cards. Again the challenges are running for 2 weeks instead of 1 so you have plenty of time.
This is the last new house mouse stamp that the boys got me, isn't it just totally cute. I love them all sitting on the chair. hee hee Hope you get to play and be sure to check out the other girls cards over on the blog.
Also Totally Stampalicious is having a Monday challenge to make it masculine or manly. And the winner of the challenge wins a $25 gift certificate to the store. How cool is that. Be sure to check it out. I will work on my card later this week. Have a great day.

Oct. Sneak Peeks CDS Day 2

You made it to day two! hee hee So glad you stopped by for todays sneaks from Clear Dollar Stamps. I have a few for you this first one is a scripture single stamp John 3:16 desgined by Lori M. I have some razzleberry dp for the background, used some of my pearls and voila.
Now this next picture below is a gift set that I made for less that 1.50. Yep... I got all these things for dirt cheap over at our local Michael's. So the journal on the left had a great design to it already, so I just made a panel and stamped the sentiment from Christmas Blessings designed by Lori M. and added a few ribbons, flowers and pearls. The notepad to the right of that was just that a notepad. I removed the magnet on the back, made a cover to hold it. I tore off the first page trimmed the fancy damask off the page and made a border for the top and bottom. The notecards are already done for you, I just used the Spellbinders tag to add a sentiment and pearls to the front. Very simple gift set and it looks like I spent a ton on it. This is going to one of the boys teachers this Christmas. You can click on the picture to see it closer, I am really proud of this set, can you tell. LOL

Now this is my gift to me. hee hee I am now on a mission (now that I am home full time again) to cook for 1 whole year without making the same recipe. EEK you say, but I am so excited. So I got another one of these .47 cent journals from Michael's, used the new Baking with Charliene designed by Laurie. I added a designer paper panel to the front. I have the dates written in for each month, and then I write on that day what we had for dinner. So far its been almost 2 months without the same dinner at all. YEA.

Lastly today I have for you the set Holiday Nutcrackers designed by Laurie. I went with a very simple design, some scraps of dp that I just couldn't throw out. Now I used the poinsettia from this set and popped them up on dimensionals and a sentiment from the set.

Be sure to check out the sneak peeks the girls have for you today:
Lori
Angela
Candy
Cassie
Katie
Kim
Laurie
Linda
Sarah
Tricia
Trudy
And for those of you watching the games yeseterday WOHOOO... Colts won and they played GREAT. :0) See you back here tomorrow!

Oct. Sneak Peeks begin CDS Day 1

Welcome to day one of Clear Dollar Stamps Oct. Sneak Peeks. WHOHOO.... I can't believe it is almost Oct Where does the time go. All the sneaks you will be seeing the next few days will be available on Oct 1st at the Clear Dollar Stamps store. Okay yes I am changing the way I post sneaks again. I am trying to find what works best, so bare with me please. :0)
So lets get to the cards.... this first set is called Billy and Maggie Fall fun and it is designed by Wendy Hall. This set is just darling don't you think. I am showing you both the kids in the set today.

This is Billy and his friend up above. I used some of my new 7 gypsies savannah paper for the background, added a little faux stitching and some sparkles to the leaves. Below is sweet Maggie isn't she just adorable. I used some fresh springy colors for her. Both cards have some sparkle to them, but I couldn't get it to picture very well.

Now we have the fun Patchpal Scarecrow designed by Shawne. I got this leafy background paper and thought it would go perfect with this guy. I added again some faux stitching to the corners and some brads. Very simple fall card.

Now how do you eat this little guy? His cheeks and hat so make me giggle. This darling guy is from the set Let us Gobble together that was designed by Heather. This set contains a few different images and sentiments and they are so fun. I attempted a Mojo Monday sketch and then messed up so its just a turkey mojo today. lol

The other girls have some fabulous cards to show you today so don't forget to check out their blogs. Here is who has sneaks for you today:
Angela
Candy
Cassie
Katie
Kim
Laurie
Nancy

FF One set but two looks

Today's Friday Focus on the newsletter is all about One stamp set with two different looks. Take the same set and make two different style of cards. It can be taking a card from simple in one to lavish with the other, or from clean and crisp to shabby and chic. You have such a variety of ways to make one set look two different ways. The girls came up with some awesome samples for you to look at, be sure to stop by their blogs:
Christine
Cindy
Faith
Julie
Latisha
Laura
Leslie

I went with a warm and cozy card and for the other sweet and pretty style. Both have the same stamp Timeless Sentiments, layout and similar elements. But with changing a few things you get two different looks. I like how these turned out, and this is also a great way to use your scraps of designer paper you never want to get rid of because you like it so much. lol I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Be sure to watch a little football this Sunday. Colts play at 4pm Sunday night. :0)

Seasoned bookmarks

Happy Tuesday! For those of you watching the game last night.... EEK... That was a close one, however we still pulled it out when it counted. Thank goodness. Anyways...
This is a set of bookmarks I made with the set called Cottage Home from Flourishes. Now Christine and I had the same idea with the seasons thought with this image. However after seeing Christine's card there was no way I was posting a card. Her card is gorgeous. So instead I did a simple set of bookmarks. hee hee I added a little sparkle to the wintry path but its hard to see in the photo. I do like how these turned out.
Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Hockey day

I have two simple cards today using Hockey Time set from Clear Dollar Stamps. I like the shilouette image with the sentiment, so simple and yet cool.

Then for this one I added some liquid glass to the hockey pucks for a shine. A little piercing and done.
I am feeling better today which is a positive! Hope you all have a great football weekend! :0)

I have one more left that they got me to show you, but you will have to wait for that one. hee hee I added a little sparkle to the flowers and popped up the image. I just think this so so sweet.
On a side note I was trying to clean my stampin room and I added a few bins to hold stamps GASP... and I counted how many House Mouse stamps I own, not counting sentiments just the stamps alone. Remember 9-11-01

Today when you are running errands, perhaps at work, dropping kids off at school please take a moment and remember those who lost their lives when the United States was attacked 8 years ago. I can remember where I was and what I was doing to this day. Lots of people lots their lives that day, and lots of lives were saved. Our men and women who serve to protect us ALL THE TIME day in and day out could use your thanks and prayers. God bless America!!!
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

This first gift set only cost $2.41. ACK... Can you believe it. It contains a journal, notepad (magnet removed from the back) a little desk note box and a candle. The candle was the most expensive. The others all cost me .47 at Michaels. I bought a few of each and some other stuff for later. This is going to be for the boys teacher next week. I know she is going to love this, the little note papers have an S on them for her first name even. How cute is that... :0) Can you tell I am happy with this and its even fall colors. I am not a fall colored girl, but look.

This project was a frame that I took the glass out of and made a seasonal wreath frame with it. You can change the wreath in the pearl. I put the other smaller picture in with this one, but have single pictures below as well. I really like how this turned out. Makes for a great little teacher or friend gift. I have some sparkle on the Christmas balls, but I can't get it in the picture very well.

Here is my summer wreath, these sunflowers look so cool. I just love each of the wreaths for different reasons. They are really just awesome aren't they.

Here is my fall wreath.

This is the spring one I did. I really like the pink and how the roses with the pearls look.
