Christmas Tunes

I was super excited to find out we were hopping along with ODBD. They are awesome girls to work with. My creation is using Christmas Tunes that is layered on the matching die set called Vintage Labels. The beautiful paper is from Christmas Collection 2015 paper pack. Added a few layered Peaceful Poinsettias to the corners and a few sprigs of Fancy Foliage topped off with some mother of pearl accents. Voila!

This adorable stamp set is called Santa's Helpers. I have a few friends that this set is perfect for. Stamped the doggie onto white card stock and colored with Copic markers. Layered with a few stitched die rectangles and stamped the paws along the base of the card. Some sequins, sparkled and voila!

Tidings of Comfort and Joy

This gorgeous Sparkling Poinsetia Candle makes for some fabulous Christmas cards. I stamped the image onto white card stock and stamped two more layers of just the poinsettia onto scrap paper. Colored all the stamped image and the extra flower. Cut around the edges and set those aside to pop up later onto the card front. The beautiful die you see peeking out of the edges is called Decorative Blossoms Corner die. matted that down onto some designer paper and layered the image panel. Popped up the pionsettia with a few silver pearls and scattered a few more around the card. Stamped he sentiment tag and voila! I do like how this turned out, don't you?

My sentiment is from the Just Sayin' Stamp set. A textured panel behind the sentiment for fun. How about these awesome flowers? They are using the fun Perky Posies die set. The die set has a few different shaped flowers and sizes. I adore the stitched middles as they go with the Stitched Retangles die. Added a few pearls to the center of the flowers and the edges and voila!

I can't believe that we are already at the end of September. Time to bust out those fall stamps and get some creations ready. This isthe  Gobble Brentwood stamp set with this adorable pumpkin that I am featuring for the blog hop. The pumpkin is stamped on white card stock then colored with various Copic markers. I cut around the image and popped it up on dimensionals. Added a few layers of paper with an oval in white card stock and a decorative panel in chocolate card stock. My sentiment tag is attached behind the pumping and some flourished jewels on the base. Voila!

This stamp set called Needle a little Love is super cute. My mom will love this creation as she is quite the sewing gal.  I used the matching Needle a Little Love die set for the buttons after I stamped the buttons in a rainbow of colors. A little scallop border to the side panel and a button on the dot from the sentiment hi. Voila!

My card is using Uptown Girl Fiona loves flowers. She makes me smile! After I stamped the image on white card stock, I then stamped a few more on scraps of paper so that I would pop up the flowers. They are colored with Copic marks along with the main image. I cut around each flower and cut between the petals and rolled the back to create depth. Added a glue dot to each and placed over main image. A little bit of sparkle and the main panel is finished. Wrapped some lace trim and ribbon around the designer paper, some pearls to finish it off. Voila!

Meet The Designer excitement

Have some exciting news to share today. Have you seen the newest issue of CardMaker Magazine? In this issue, there is a Meet The Designer article and it features me. Yes, me of all people! I am beyond excited with this honor. Brooke and Tanya are fantastic ladies and such a pleasure to work for on all levels. Next time you are in the craft store check it out or you can buy it HERE. There is a quick short video that shows you a few things in the magazine, including a card of mine. You can see the video here.
I will be celebrating with some blog candy in a few weeks. Right now we are are still under renovation. Stopped by last night to see the progress and saw dust is everywhere. The kitchen is a mess, however they made some huge strides yesterday. Can't wait until its totally finished and I am back in my own bed. ;-)   I will have more sneak peeks tomorrow for Power Poppy's August release so check back in. Have a wonderful day!
