Mouse assortment

Grabbed these furry guys for an assortment of cards. Lighting wasn't great but I was able to get photos  so here I go. This first one I cut the image down a little to fit on a 5x5 card. Easy layers and some faux stitching around the image panel. Added some brads and some sparkles to the berries.

This next one I stamped the sentiment along the right side with some designer paper down the left. A few more brads and yes more sparkle.

I giggle at this one because he has that little smile of up to no good. hee hee  Textured background to match the scrap designer paper at the base. Some added sparkles and brads.

Mice and men

Good evening. Long time no see. Seems like I don't have much time to create and when I do I don't have time to post it up. Well tonight I made time to get these photo's ready to post up. These were created a few weeks back for various reasons. This will be short and sweet, just like I prefer. :-)

Started off with a few masculine cards that I needed. I used Godly Man for a birthday card. The birthday sentiments are randomly stamped behind the die cut shaped frame from the next card. Added some bakers twine and the elk head popped up on dimensionals. I added suduko for sparkle on a few of the birthday sentiments.

Using the same stamp set again I used the elk image as a silhoutte behind the sentiment. The die cut shape is how I got the frame for the one above. Some dry embossing to the base layer and wrapped twine and added brads.

Always can use a mouse card for every occasion. This was called Grape Dreams that is colored with various Copic Markers. Added a few pearls and some scraps of the colored cardstock for the base layer. Sparkles added to the grapes. Voila!

I will have a post set for later this week also with some florals to share. Too long of a post if I added it here also. Might just be batches of cards in each post for awhile. Hope you are doing well if anyone is still in blog land lately.  ;-)  Have a wonderful evening.

Woot woot keep it up

Happy Monday! It has been super stressful the last few weeks and I honestly really needed a day to just sit and color. And who wouldn't want to color these guys? This stamp was called Geronimo and I am not sure its available anymore. Still one of the cutest ones I have. They are colored using Copic markers. The designer paper was the color inspiration with the peach tones. Some texture added to the base layer. Some sparkle to the petals and my sentiment. This is to cheer a special person on to keep going and that I am proud of them. :-)  Thanks for stopping by.

It might be drizzling out

Good morning. These guys using the petals for umbrellas make me giggle. I don't know how they came up with so many adorable stamps but I just love them still. This is another retired one sorry. I am pretty sure that all mine are retired at this point.  ;-(

Another one with some scraps of designer paper. Swiss dots texture was added to half the base layer on this one. Sparkle added to the rain drops and voila!

Birthday duo

Good morning! How about a boy and girl birthday card using the same stamp? One of my favorite birthday House Mouse's I have. First up is the girl birthday card. Hot pink all around so whoever gets this better like pink. hee hee  The designer paper was from the scrap bin as I have been using a lot of paper from their lately Added a few die cut balloons and a scallop edge to the base layers. Stamped my sentiment and then added sparkles.

My second one is for a boy birthday. This one using the same die cut balloons but different colors and some simple layers as well. Sparkle to finish it off.

I am just about done with my other House Mouse images that I colored. Then I need to work on a new request from a friend for some cards. I do love these guys and glad I colored up a few during meetings a few weeks ago. hee hee  Hope you have a wonderful day!

Grape day

This guy looks so content in his little grape bed. Another one of the House Mouse that was colored from last weekend. It is so much easier when all your coloring is done and you just have to put it together. ha ha!

Pretty easy since I knew when coloring this one I wanted it to be on the shaped die cut. Haven't used the big dies in awhile so figure this was going to be perfect for him. Added textured dots to the base layer panel wrapped with some lace trim and ribbon. A few sequins accents and some sparkle on the leaf. Voila! Have a great day!

Hugs and tea anyone

Good morning! Another House Mouse card from the images I colored up last weekend. Oh isn't this one so sweet. Makes me smile at these guys. Stamped the larger image and colored with various Copic markers.

Used up some more of the scrap designer paper for the base from another card last week. Oh and I am using up all kinds of die cuts in the scrap bin like these two the heart and button with twine wrapped through them. My sentiment and some sparkle on the marshmallows. Voila!
Have a wonderful day!

Relaxing is mice

Good morning! Well we did not get out jeeping Saturday as planned since the governor extended the stay at home order until May 31st. Which was not what we wanted to hear at all. :-(  The mood was not relaxing one bit like you see below in this little furry guy. A lot of coloring did get done this weekend though to try and soothe my nerves. Now to put them into cards like this one. This must be retired also as I can't find it on the Stampendous site either, sorry.

This is super basic with just a stitched rectangle die for the image panel. Colored with various Copic markers. Added a scrap piece of designer paper from the bin with a green piece. A sentiment to match the little fat guy and some sequins. Voila! At least this makes me happy.  :-)  Hope you have a wonderful day!

Berry thankful

I did get to another mouse card as you can see. Since I colored up a few of them I just needed to get them into cards. Sometimes that is always more work than just coloring them. hee hee  Very easy peasy with this one though.

Added a scallop edge to the designer paper on the base. A few die cut hearts in various shapes from a retired die. A few pearls and voila! A sweet thank you card done.

Mice Showers

Morning! We had a rough last week with the stay at home extension till May 4th, they then cancelled school for the year. We were all rather upset since it is the boys senior year. They are going to miss so much from the cancellation, prom, baseball, senior trip and possibly graduation. Graduation is the one thing that might still be salvaged as they can do it later in June if we have to. Still working on the details of that so I am praying and hopeful. They have put so much time and energy into the school these last few years, not to mention John and myself. Last week was just a hard week. The positive news is the boys are able to add 2 more classes for Running Start which means they will graduate in Dec with a full AA Degree rather than the following May. So that not only saved money it brings the  degree a quarter sooner. Look for the good stuff in all this craziness. Spent the day in the kitchen on Friday making cinnamon rolls and a few dozen different cookies rolled into balls for the freezer and rainy days. Felt good to have some control over something lately. Anyways...

I did get to color this weekend to try and help my mood.  :-) This week you will see a lot of purple infused cards. Why? Because I found digging through my paper packs a Wild Rose pack that I totally forgot I had and it has a lot of lavender in the stack. :-)  When I created my Christmas card for the DD the other day using House Mouse I found a few others to play with too.
These guys are called Summer Showers on the block but I can't find it on the Stampendous site so it must be retired also. They are colored with Copic markers and then layered on some layers. The base is dry embossed with a leafy folder. Added some sequins and sparkles to the water coming out of the can. So fun to color these guys, I sure miss them. Don't worry I have a few more colored that I will try to get into cards soon. Have a great day.

April joys

Morning and welcome to the Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge for April. That's right we are a few months into the year, how are you on those cards? Right now we all have a lot of time to color so why not Christmas cards? This months challenge can be found HERE. Hope you join in our fun.

This stamp set fell out of the bin when I was trying to determine which House Mouse stamp to use. Pretty sure this is retired as I don't even find it on the Stampendous site, sorry. My designer paper is from an old pack of paper that had similar colors for what I was going for. Layered some ribbon along the bottom of the card and a few enamel dots accents. The marshmallows have sparkle added to them and then a few die cut snowflakes for the corner. Voila!

SCSCCFEB19 Start with your house

Afternoon! Finally got my card done and photo'd  (yes crooked but it will have to do) before we head out to the game. The February Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge is posted up and ready for your creation. Check it out over on the SCS Forum HERE

These guys are so sweet and once I start pulling them out I always smile and enjoy it. Fairly quick and easy since we have been crazy busy with basketball. I stamped them on white cardstock and colored with copic markers. Added some faux stitching around the base layers. This is designer paper from and old Teresa Colins pack called Santa's list. My sentiment is stamped on vellum and then some enamel dots for the corners and stickles on the icing. Voila! Hope you can play along this month. Have a great day.

FMS372 Birthday mouse

Morning. How about a birthday House Mouse card to start your day. This guy was perfect for the sketch over on the Freshly Made Sketch blog  FMS372. This was my first time playing in their sketches and it was fun.

Very easy with this one. The mouse was called Eat Your Cake and Nap Too but not sure if its available anymore. He is colored with Copic markers and then a little piercing along the top and bottom edges. The cake is suppose to be a yellow cake with pink cream cheese frosting, but not sure in real life if this would be tasty looking. Sure does look cute with this guy though. ha!
My sentiment is stamped on vellum for that layer of the sketch and some pearls to hide the glue dots holding it in place. Voila!

Juggling act

Footloose and Fancy tree is what these guys are called. They are a juggling act which is about what I feel right now. Haven't had much time since we got back from our vacation to do much of anything in the stamp room until today. Finally got my card for the August Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge complete. Very simple since I am really trying to get into the swing of things.

Speaking of Dirty Dozen the Dare To Get Dirty Challenges start this weekend. Are you up for it? Check out the SCS Fan page here and keep an eye out. I am hosting a challenge and hope you play along. Now for my Christmas card. These guys are simply colored with Copic markers. I did a basic piercing around the designer paper edge and added some sequins and sparkles. Easy peasy! Thanks for stopping by.

Very mice day

Morning. I really just wanted to sit and color this weekend and honestly not much of that happened. Yet I do feel like I had a little time in the stamp room which was great. I tried to find this one on the Stampendous site that now carry's the House Mouse stamps but I do not see it. So maybe retired from House Mouse entirely? Glad I have this one its one of my favorites still. When I was on the site I saw several that are new and I need to get. :-)  Does it ever end?? hee hee

This is pretty straight forward with just a little bit of gingham for the bottom half of the card. I pierced an edging around the base panel and my image popped up on dimensionals. Yes my sentiment is a little crooked because I didn't think to stamp the sentiment before I added everything to the base. Sheessshhh.. Oh well hopefully you notice the fat chubby mice and ignore the crooked sentiment. hee hee  Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.

Mistle toe kisses

Welcome to the Dirty Dozen July Christmas challenge. We are half way through the year if you an believe it. Hopefully you have been working on those cards for the year. This months challenge was easy and I knew what I planned on using for my first card. Check out the DD forum and play along.

It has been awhile since I colored up these guys and I really need to get back into coloring them. These mice are colored with Copic markers and then die cut with a standard circle die. Some mistletoe designer paper added to a layer of maroon that I die cut the edge with a retired heart die. Some mistletoe texture to the green base and some sequins and sparkles tie it all together. Voila!

Sweet Music

Evening. I am putting the June Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge up a little early as I will not have computer access tomorrow. This months challenge is fun and I hope you get to play along. You can find the challenge HERE. These guys are called Trumpet Blast from my House Mouse collection. Are they not so sweet?

These guys are colored with various Copic markers and then die cut with a stitched rectangle. Pulled out my large Spellbinder rectangle die for the base embossing, then a stitched rectangle over the top. Layered my designer paper to the base white and wrapped some ribbon around the bottom. Just a few gold metal corner accents and some sparkle to the wings and snow. Voila! Have a wonderful day.

House Mouse Tote

Good morning. How about a little House Mouse for you today? These little guys are always a joy to pull out and color with. This is a cute little tote that I used from the ODBD Die Card Daddy-Tote. My handles on the bag are adjustable and I covered the brad I used to make that possible with buttons for the front.

These guys are colored with Copic markers and simply added to a pink layer of card stock. The arrow behind the heart is a tiny die from WOJ that is now closed. Sparkle was added to the heart and the stem/leaves of the image and some jewels. Voila! Now I have one gift tote done for Valentines day. Getting an early start this year.  :-)
For Christmas I received a new Nikon 3400 Camera and a few lens. SWEET!!! However getting the hang of how this works is a little tricky. I have watched so many videos and tutorials that I think I am more confused than before. ha ha  Please have patience with me and my photo's as I am trying out different places and lighting to get the hang of this new camera.  :-)  Thanks for stopping by.

Fall birthday's

Happy Monday! We have a few fall birthday's coming up and thought these guys would be perfect for the first card. This House Mouse is another one I think that is retired? I have them stamped on white cardstock and colored with various Copic markers.

This is for a guy so I kept the accents as just some sequins and some sparkles on the frosting. One of the Dirty Dozen challenges over the summer was to create a background with several pieces of designer paper. I had a lot of fun doing that and wanted to play around again with some scraps. Fun to use different papers and colors I think. Added the sentiment and voila! Hope you have a wonderful day!

August Calendar page

Berry good right... This House Mouse is not available anymore and I can't find it at Stampendous site.  :-(  Every time I pull these stamps out I want to buy more. Good thing I resist and just grab one I have up on the bins.

This is one of the first ones that I bought too so I have several creations over the years with him. Just a few enamel dots for accents. Easy Peasy! Have a great day!
