WOJ Challenge Hearts and love

Happy Wednesday! Today over on the Whiff Of Joy blog the new challenge #147 has been issued and its all about love. Create using hearts and love. I went ahead and created a fun little treat tag using Cupid Henry. My hearts are the red jewels he is shooting at. hee hee

I stamped Cupid Henry onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. Colord him with various copic markers. Once colored he was delicately cut out and popped up on dimensionals. I added some stickles to the ribbon he has wrapped around him. Then had a center piece left over from some red cardstock that was perfect for my tag. Added scrap paper and did some faux stitching around the edges. Attached some red lace trim and white pleated ribbon then adhered Cupid Henry. Voila! A easy peasy gift tag for this rub of heart candies. Hope you can play along this week!

Live for today

If we could just focus on the day at hand we would be so much happier I think. I won't get into all the thoughts I have today as I am living for today!  ;0)   My creation today is pretty easy and didn't take me long to create. I stamped out Just My Type sentiment onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.
Figured a frame for the sentiment would be cool so grabbed my Romantic Rectangles and cut out the center so I could pop the frame up on dimensionals. Really like the Teresa Collins Spring Fling paper pack I bought recently and added some faux stitching to the edge for fun. Layered this onto one of the brown papers in the Color Made Easy Rich Browns collection along with Candy Pink collections.

My ribbon is from Color Made Easy Candy Pink called Pink Aster that I tied my ivory jute and ivory button to. A few Kaiser champagne pearls to the side of the frame and a Prima to the corner. Easy Peasy! I hope you have a joyful day today!

Snowman and Snowflakes

I made this last week for the Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge and the Clean and Simple Sketch Challenge. I got my new Whipper Snapper Stamps in the mail, whohoo!!! They are all snowmen, hee hee!! This one is called Beckham, isn't he adorable? Created this for the CAS 204 challenge and the Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge. I messed up and put the snowflakes on the front instead of the back, hope that is okay? I do love how it turned out.
For the DD Christmas obviously the new is the stamp and I went with Blue's again, and the old is my snowflake dies and honestly I can't remember where I bought the dies from. EEK!! I know horrible, but I am trying to use them more! I stamped Beckham onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. Colored him with various copic markers and then popped his panel up on dimensionals. Added some sparklers to the snowflake dies and voila!

FS312 Heartfelt Thanks

This week's Featured Stamper 312 is Bonnie aka Bon2Stamp. Beautiful gallery and lots of white space creations so I went with that today. I choose this Baby Wipe Hydrangea to case. I have kept the flower the same, the layout and over all design. Changed the stamp set added a few jewels to the side and added a kraft base layer. I hope you can play along with us this week!
I stamped my Hydrangea onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. My flower is colored using copic collections:

Once colored I layered the panel onto some kraft cardstock and then added a few Kaiser aqua rhinestones then popped up on dimensionals before adding to the base. Voila! Easy peasy and I love how this turned out. Have a wonderful day!

WOJ Bookmark

Happy Saturday and hopefully you have a stamp filled day ahead of you. I did a little bit of stamping and then I had to start cleaning house. ha!  This is a bookmark I made using Sante, Cheers from Whiff of Joy. Infact several of the other DT girls created bookmarks as well. Check out the WOJ Blog to see everyone's creations.
My is pretty straight forward in design. I stamped my image onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. Colored with various copic markers. Added some ribbon and a twine button combo for the top. A little bit of scrap ribbon was perfect for the right side panel as I have the heart lace border down the left side. Voila! Thanks for stopping in today.

You are Special

Today, the Flourishes Design Team has something special for you all! We decided instead of featuring a certain set or a certain challenge, we would just grab some of our favorite sets and... create! So, as you make the rounds today, you'll see a little bit of everything -- and hopefully it inspires some creativity in your own crafting spaces! So, grab a cup of coffee and relax....
Also, we have some BIG news for you if you are a bargain hunter! We had put our Gambler's Sale on hold over the holidays because there were so many different sales. Well, we've resumed it to try to further clear the shelves at Flourishes' home base. So now, many of our items on the Sale Page HERE are....
That's right -- 55% off! You will see some additional items on sale. As a limited time special, all Aquamarkers are 20% off. These water-based markers are fabulous to have on hand for coloring and water coloring - so if you need a water-based marker, now is the time to stock up!
On to my creations...Today I am using Inside and Our You along with the beautiful Mothers Words of Wisdom stamp sets. This floral wreath is one of my favorite wreaths, well I love all our wreaths we have so no surprise. I stamped the sentiment and wreath onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.
My flowers are colored using copic collections:

The colors I choose are for the CR84FN Finale color challenge. I wasn't aware that Mona was going to have a finale with the challenge however I am glad I did get to play along in the few I did and this last one. Two Color Made Easy collections were used and they are Rich Browns and Emerald Coast.

My sentiment is die cut using our Perfectly Pierced Classic Window die set and then popped up on dimensionals. A few jewels under the sentiment to finish off the panel. The ribbon is from the Color Made Easy Sunflower primerose that is tied into a bow and then some ivory jute to tied my Emerald Coast dark Button too and voila! Turned out beautiful and springy I think. Be sure to check out the creations from the design team today:

Snowman down... snowman down.. ha!

Had more time to stamp today and this adorable guy was sitting there asking to be inked up for the first time. Yep! My new Whipper Snappers came the other day and I already inked up one, now for another one. hee hee This guys is called Snow is Overrated. I stamped the snowman onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. He is colored with various copic markers. My designer paper is Echo parks Winter Wishes, and I only have a few sheets left in this pack. GASP! I need to find another few packs to last me till next year. ha! I used a paper doily for the back that I cut in half so it would cover more of the back. Added some crochet lace and ribbon along with the snowflakes that have a sparklers center. Then lastly some sparkle on the snow and his fat face. hee hee

This is for the Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge. I used Blue, New is the stamp and old is the brads. My brads just sit here as I hardly ever use them anymore, so here are 4 down. Only about a thousand to go. ha! And the ways to use it challenge snowflakes a few weeks ago. Hope you can play along with us this month! Off to stamp another adorable snowman! Have a great day!

3x3 Garden charm

Springy little delight today for you. Been all over the calendar with creations this week I know. ha! Just in one of those moods I guess. For the below creation I picked up my Garden Dreams stamp set. This is a little 3x3 note card today. Sometimes I just need a little note to give with a gift. I stamped out the image onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.
My image is colored with various copic collections:

Once colored I matted on some light blue paper and added dimensionals to the back. My designer paper is from a paper pack that I can no longer remember the name so sorry. Added some white satin pleated ribbon to the base along with some of the Color Made Easy sky blue ribbon and tied off the ribbon bow with a little flower charm and some ivory twine. Simple and sweet today! Have a wonderful day!

A Note of Thanksgiving

This is a card I created for publication and they declined it. Sniff... Sniff... However now I can share with you, as I really like how the card turned out myself. This set is called A Season Of Thanks from Flourishes. I have stamped the image onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.

My image is colored using several copic collections:

I layered my image panel onto a Perfectly Pierced Classic Hourglass die using our Color Made Easy Rich Browns collection paper. The base panel is textured paper from our Color Made Easy Terra Cotta collection.

Cut out my frame using Spellbinders romantic rectangles, ran some orange mesh ribbon along the center. Then added my Color made Easy Rich Brown Argentina ribbon down the center and tied off the ribbon bow with some ivory jute and a rich brown button. Added my stamped panel and voila! Hope you have a wonderful day!

FTTC204 Happy Holidays

Today is Tuesday and that means the new Timeless Tuesday challenge 204 over on Flourishes blog is posted. The challenge this week is create using a circle, pearls and a fish tale tag. Be sure to link your creations over on Flourishes Blog.
Mine is two fold today as I also am creating this for the Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge this month called Christmas wedding. I stamped out several images from Snow Day a few months ago and had one left over that I colored. The image is stamped onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.
COlored the image with copic collections:

Once colored I used my *old* Spellbinders scallop circles, classic circles and grand circles. Layered my panels up using Color Made Easy True Blue collections.

Once layered tied some silver cord around the scallops and added a few snow white pearls to the fish tale sentiment tag. Voila! I do like round cards too so this was great. Hope you can play along this week! Have a wonderful day.
