Bags and boxes and more!

This weeks House Mouse and Friends blog challenge was to make or decorate up a bag or box. We have a sponsor this week its the cuttingcafe. So make sure to check out the blog for the prize.
I cut in half one of these clear boxes and made a little box out of it. I sealed the bottom with glue dots and made a flap with card stock. I can put either candies in here or little note cards. Its rather fun idea and glad I tried it.
Hope you get to play along with us. The DT did a fantastic job with their projects. So make sure you check theirs out!
We have a few things going on this week also. Clear Dollar Stamps has some new releases today to check out. Be sure to stop by Laurie, Candy, Monique, Linda, Katie, and Kim. And last day of April sneaks are tomorrow so make sure to check back also.
On Wednesday Flourishes newsletter has a surprise for you as well. So be sure not to miss all the fun!
Have a wonderful day.

    With wine you see shapes

LOL Well most do if they have too much wine. ha-ha This weeks House Mouse and friends challenge is to make a shaped card. Now I had made one similar to this last year as a challenge to some of my good SCS Friends ( see picture below) and I thought how fun it would be to make another one. So I added a little bit to this one verses the other one.
I can't seem to get a good picture today, sorry about that. Its sorta washed out. EEK.... I will try to take another one later when maybe the sun is shining!
Hope you get a chance to play along with us! Have a wonderful week!

    McKenzies Gift

This is a little card and a little pouch for McKenzie. She a lil gal that just got out of Children's Hosp yesterday, and diagnosed with juvenile diabetes. Pat (patsmethers) made an adorable card for her and I asked if I could make one for her as well.
Here is a picture of what Pat made for her.
The little pouch has stamped images of all the Charlies that I own. I left the front of this pouch uncolored so she can color it however she chooses. I thought this would put a smile on her face. She is doing well and very strong little gal from what Pat has told me. So please say a prayer for her today, she and her family could use it.
    Thanks for looking.

    Jenni Bowlin Purses

Flourishes has introducted a new line of papers, by Jenni Bowlin and they are so fun! I have done my first tutorial over on Flourishes newsletter on how to make these fabulous little purses. So go check it out and make some yourself!
I love making these little purses. I made 70 of them last year for a Women's retreat , and they loved them. This year she needed only 30, but had me make some tissues for the other half. Those are another day to show you. haha
These papers come in a 4x4 size and Flourishes sells the envelopes seperately. You can find them in the FLLC store here. They are a perfect fit for these nugget purses.
I made a few that show off the papers and a few to snazzy up the papers. Either way they are all so fun and cute. Well I think so. hee hee Make sure ot check out the tutorial!

    Ribbon..Ribbon...Ribbon

Its Tuesday and that means time for Timeless Tuesday over on the Flourishes blog.
This week Cindy Haffner is hosting. She is challenging us to use ribbon. You may think…ribbon? I use ribbon all the time. Of course, you do!!! We all do!!! I mean there are just so many ribbons out there to choose from. There are lace, organdies, ric rac, satin, twill, and grosgrain just to name a few. It is time to cut those ribbons that bind you….lol!!!
So my normal ribbon I use is wide satin... luscious... gorgeous ribbon. Can you tell I love it. LOL Anyways... I went with a smaller width ribbon, but yes satin. But to my credit it is a different type of satin. hee hee I told you these sweet peas were going to be shown a LOT in my gallery and blog. I LOVE them... I got to play along with them, I hope you get to also. Make sure you check out the newsletter for the deets!
You can find this new set from Flourishes over here with a bundle pack that has the other two new sets. Might as well get the bundle pack I always say! Tell DH you are saving him money, they love that! Have a wonderful day!
