A Daisy or two for you

Good morning! One of the boys teachers has a birthday this week and her favorite flower is a Daisy. I created a few note cards for her as a gift. This is one of the note cards in the set and I hope she likes them.

My Gerber Daisies is stamped onto Classic White card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink.
Colored with Copic Collections:

Once colored I cut around each bloom and stem so that I was able to pop them up on dimensionals. You can always use our Silhouette Cut File instead of cutting around the edges if you want a quicker version. That is probably what I should of done in this case. Wrapped some white crochet ribbon around the center and tied off some seam binding from the Color Made Easy Candy Pink Ash ribbon into a bow. A few flourishes pearls and voila!  Have a wonderful day.

He is on classic white card stock colored with Copic markers. Layered a panel of my favorite Christmas paper Bo Bunny Powder Mountain designer paper. Added some silver cord over the lace trim center. the beautiful shape of the card is with my favorite Spellbinders die. Hints of sparkle on the snow and Voila!  I adore this card.  :-)

Henry Notecard

Welcome to a little sneak peak at Whiff Of Joy's October release. Today I am going to show you a cute little note card I made using Henry With Wreath. Isn't he just darling? I have him on classic white card stock, colored with various Copic markers. I was hoping that my new Die-Lights were here but alas they are still in the post office some where... I did leave room to add a little something when they do arrive. So in the mean time this darling little guy will have to do.
Today we are helping my sister and her husband move into their new home and first home at that. Just in time as the baby will be here in a 4 months. EEK!!! I am so excited as he, yes it is a BOY will be my first nephew and I am THRILLED!!!  I have been looking at baby ideas for the shower and his room. Lots of new things since the twins were that little. hee hee   Don't forget the October Blog Hop is Tuesday 29th!  Hope you have a wonderful day.

WOJ Fall Themed Pumpkins

The Whiff Of Joy Design Team sure are having fun with the themes each month and I hope you are too. Check out the Whiff Of Joy Blog for all the DT creations. This months theme is fall creations. I have a treat box that I created to look like a pumpkin using oval die cuts. I saw on Pinterest (one of my favorite sites) how to create a pumpkin look using ovals. They have a few others with circles also, but the ovals was so cute I thought. I added sparkle around the edges and some rolled up brown card stock. The Leaves Trio Die-Light was perfect for the top of my pumpkin. My sentiment is computer generated with the Heart Lace border Die-Light for the edge. A few WOJ Rhinestones and Voila!

Rose Beauty

Hello and welcome to Friday! Today the Flourishes Senior Design Team is pulling out some of our sets that are on the overstock or retiring list and giving them a new spin! We always love when we can do that, because it makes you fall in love with those sets all over again
I grabbed Beauty Within to play with today. My image is stamped onto Classic White card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink.
Colored with Copic collections:

Since I wanted and oval shape instead of the matching die that goes with the set I used Spellbinders Classic Oval SM to cut the image panel that fits perfectly onto Opulent ovals die. My base is Color Made Easy Rich Browns with some Color Made Easy Poppy card stock. Added dimensionals to the back to pop up the panel. Some beautiful lace trim and Color Made Easy Terra Cotta Japonica ribbon tied off into a bow with a red jeweled center. The textured panel is using embossing folder rain drops and a few scattered jewels in the corner.
We invite you to take a trip on over to the rest of the Design Team to see what they have up their creative sleeves today:
Please be sure to give some extra love for our lovely Designer Maki Jones…Maki is taking a break from the design team and we’ll miss her very much while she’s gone! She’s such a talented lady who has treated us to some amazing and creative designs these last few years on the Timeless Tuesday Team and the Senior Design Team. We send big hugs out to Maki!

Lavendar winter

After the last WOJ release I decided to give the solid color combo another try but with lavendars. I do like how these colors blended better. My image is Wonderful Christmas stamped onto classic white card stock colored with Copic markers. Added some wintry elements with the Die-Light Nested Christmas Tree. A few jewels all over the trees and some fun flock for the snow look. All these trees fit the DD Christmas challenge this month in the Inspiration piece. Check out and and hope you can play along. Have a great day!

Birthday Fun

I have missed my mecees lately so I grabbed Popular Fun and decided to play. The image is stamped onto classic white card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink. Colored with various Copic markers. Kept the base all white and a round shape. I enjoyed the little fish tale flags on a card a few weeks ago so added those down the side with a button twine bow. The House Mouse and Friends Blog Challenge this week is to play with twine. Well not sure this would count my tiny little bow of twine, but they would LOVE if you played along in their challenge.  :-)  Voila!
Now for those football fans out there.... Did you see the Denver/Colt game last night? You know I did and WOW.... This was a hard game for me to watch. We had some good friends over, food and fun for a wonderful evening of football.  I cheered and hollered for my team Colts the whole time. However a little bit of me wanted Manning to win and go undefeated still. However.... Whohoo!!! The Colts won!!! That's my team baby! Awesome win for us, sad for Denver. Whoever they play next will have to deal with their loss because you know Manning is NOT happy!!!  :-)   Have a great Monday!

FS350 Yellow Roses

This weeks Featured Stamper 350 is Ladybug91743 aka Marie Alice. Wonderful gallery with lots of variety. I choose her California Poppies to case today. Kept the over all layout, a large flower and colors. I changed the flower, added ribbon and a button and paper doily. Hope you can play along this week!

This is a rose image from Digital Two For Tuesday blog that is free, check it out. Lots of beautiful designs on this blog and I love this rose image. The rose is on classic white card stock and colored with various copic markers. I have layered onto some black card stock die cut in a spellbinders die. Layered down a paper doily added some sheer white ribbon tied off with a black button and twine. This was for the boys teacher this week and a gift for her. She LOVED it. Hope you have a great day.

Santa blues

There are only a few Santa images out there that I truly do love and this is one of them. I can't remember who gifted this image to me or what the company is. I really would love to own this stamp myself. Anyways I have colored his face with pastel Copics. Layered onto some Brillant Blue card stock and die cut using a few Spellbinders shapes. Added some silver leaves to the edge and some blue pearl brads over punched snowflakes. Easy peasy and beautiful when done I think. Hope you have a great day!

Season be blesses

The Senior Design Team is back today with another round of beauties created with our October Release Stamp sets. It's our chance to show them off some more while you can still purchase the October Stamp Bundle at a discount! Today is the last day the dscount is available and we don't want you to miss out!
Did you think I was done creating gift tags? Nope! In fact I have several coming to show you that I am so excited about, this one included. This is a bit larger so that the girls at DH work can fit a few more names on the tag. I stamped Star Of Bethlehem onto classic white card stock.
Colored with Copic collections:

I did stamp another set of the flowers so that I could pop the center up again. Die cut the layers using Spellbinders Standard Circles on Color Made Easy Emerald Coast paper.

Some textures using a snowflake cuttlebug folder that I added sparkles to. Tied off some silver cord and voila!
So hop on over to see what lovely creations everyone has in store for you today:
