I used some pearls and some MB dewfrost paper for this warm feeling card.

Now this fun and cute little guy is from the set Billy Blasts off by Wendy. Another fabulous set for the boys out there. For the sentiment I took off the Hi and inside it says Happy Birthday.

I tried to create my own little cloud to have her standing on and I sponged some clouds in the background. Pet sympathies are always hard to make and I never had a set, so this is perfect! Last day of sneaks is tomorrow! be sure to check back for some sweet deals and sneaks! Have a great day.

Sneaks Day 2 Rivers more

Welcome to day 2 of Clear Dollar Stamps Jan Sneak peeks! this set is so darn adorable its called Lovin Ridley and Rosie by Wendy. I thought I would try out some ideas for the boys Valentines day party at school. So I made a little belly band for these little skittles packets with one of the images in the set. Perfect little treats. I think the girls will like them the most. lol

This beautiful scripture is Psalm 23:2 by Lori. I went with some dp I had in my stash, sponged around the frame and popped it up on dimensionals. I do like this flower ribbon, and I added some pearls to the center.

Now this wonderful little scene is called River Scene. And you can see the scripture above Psalm 23:2 fits perfectly with this River Scene as well. I did give the whole button a try with the ribbon on this one. I am using them more... or I am trying to atleast. I have a little bit of sparkle on the water as well.

Sneak Day 1 Sledding and Ladybugs

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and your New Year will be safe and blessed! Christmas was perfect at our house. Kids actually got up at 4 am with me, first time for them. hee hee Very fun and loved the time with everyone. DH was rather tired that day. lol
It is time for Clear Dollar Stamps Jan. sneak peeks! Oh they are so fun, you are going to love them. So for the next 4 days sit back and enjoy the sneaks! First up we have for you Charlie Sledding by Laurie!
The first thing I thought of was sledding down a hill, so I created some snow with the swiss dots folder. Then I cut another piece out and frayed up the edge and added some sparkle for the snow shimmer. It is very simple but cute I think. hee hee

Next I wanted to have him on a huge snowflake like background. So I used the spellbinders pendant and layered it, added some sparkle to the ends and voila. He just makes you smile doesn't he.

The next set we have is Loving Ladybugs by Shawne. Oh so very sweet. Several images in this set and perfect for Valentines day cards. Here I used some ribbon I got from my good friend America. I added a little sparkle around the frame as well.
Now be sure to check out what the other DT came up with for sneaks:

Friday Focus White Space

Over on Flourishes newsletter today I am talking about White Space and how NOT to be afraid of it. I use a lot of white paper in my cards, I LOVE a lot of white clean space on my cards. It might be my OCD coming out onto cards, haha... I just think the clean and simple look sometimes is what makes the card pop. I have a few ways that I use white space so I will show you the two common ways I use it.
Below here is the single layer of white space I use a lot. I have a little color with the ribbon and paper. My Dove and Holly is the focal point and I added a little bit of sparkle to the leaves. Very simple.
Below here is what I call my layered white space. I have used the set A year of Flowers calendar set 2. I still have a lot of white space but I broke it up into two layers, and see it still looks so clean and fresh. I added a little white crochet ribbon and pearls to top it off.

See white space is nothing to be afraid of, so give it a try! You might not go back. hee hee Check out what the girls came up with for their version of White Space also:

Fresh Daisies today

Well I surely don't have these outside today. We have snow, rain and freezing rain today. Kids had a delay for school so they are outside making snowmen. lol Got lots of blogs and emails to catch up on. My dad's surgery went well yesterday, was at the hospital most of the day and evening. He is doing well and giving the nurses a hard time. :0)
I used the Gerber Daisies set with the Daffodil Copic collection and Fields 1 collection. I framed them with a spellbinders label and added a few silver flower finishing touches and jewels, very simple overall.
Be sure to check back on Friday if I don't see you before then for Flourishes Friday Focus with ME. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Wedding Bliss...

Well they are finally married and are on the road to Wyoming to their new home. Boy am I BEAT... This was a wonderful wedding and I am so happy for my sister. Now to get all the family packed that is leaving today on the road. We got snow last night, perfect for her winter wedding. You can't see all of it but their are a few Christmas trees with lights on both side of the screen. On the screen is a wintry night scene that we had up there with all the lights out in the church. We had lights on the ceiling for the stars, it really was pretty.
Okay now who is who. Do you know which one I am? Not the one in white. haha I am on the left in the green dress, my middle sister the bride and her new hubby, then my youngest sister in the pink. She will be having her wedding next Sept. Yes another wedding. lol
Below here is my sisters and my parents. Now I am only taller than my mom because I have heals on, otherwise I am usually the shortest one in the group.

And here is one of my and my wonderful husband and myself. :0) He just makes my so complete I can't even begin to tell you. The boys didn't get into a lot of the pictures, but I will try and find one later to post up. They were all dressed up so cute.
I will be back this week with some cards for you! Have a wonderful day!

Day 2 A year of Flowers

Today we are showing you A year of Flowers: Calendar set 2. May-August flowers. This is what the whole calendar file looks like if you purchase or get it for free. So you can have a 6x6 calendar or the smaller one that I cut down and showed you yesterday. I like both versions personally.
With this calendar set I stamped the flower above the lines to write notes, and I used a spellbinders label to cut out a spot to add pictures. I made a set of these for the parents for Christmas with pictures of none other than the twins. Good thing they are the only grandkids, even amount of photos. ha-ha
Below is a close up of the flowers and I have added some sparkle to each one of the months. I like the little bit of sparkle on these.

Here is the binder that I got to hold the calendars in for the year. This way they can slide the calendars in and out if they want to change the photos. Which I know they won't, but they have the option. lol Now check out what the girls did for you today, they are awesome:

Season of Jolly

I can't believe Thanksgiving is in a few days, the time seems to go by so darn fast anymore. Sheeesshhh... Well before we know it Dec 1st will be here and I don't have all my Christmas cards done yet. EEK.... So I am on a mission to get them done. Here is one using one of the House Mouse the boys got me. Tag your it

Friday focus over on Flourishes newsletter today is all about *Tag your it* brought to us by Julie. How fun is that title. hee hee What a great way to start off getting some of my gift tags together. Now I am not a photographer by any means, this is the best way I found to show them. So sorry for the dorky picture. :0)
I used the All that Glitters stamp set for my tags. I also used the sentiments To and From out of the Fancy Labels set. My spellbinders labels come in really handy for the quick fancy shapes for the tags. And who doesn't love the satin ribbons... Oh yea... I popped up the pine cone shape, added a few jewels and sparkles to them all and voila, all done.

This little darling here is using the sentiment and tiny ornaments in the Meowy Christmas set also from Clear Dollar stamps . I popped the ornaments up after I cut them out on seperate paper. I added some score lines and a little sparkle. Have a wondeful day!

So was that a GAME or WHAT... Oh man.. I was biting my nails girls... We have a group of friends over for this Rivalry game and this year I was going to win! I lost a prime rib dinner to everyone last year, this year I was NOT going to lose. Or so I hoped. lol Needless to say we WON we WON we WON!!!! I knew not to get to excited early on because the game always go down to the last 2 min, that is when the *real* game begins... and no one was disapointed... well except ole Tom Brady. bawhahahaha
To start our game night off in good spirits here is a picture of what someone brought over framed for me. Yes they are a Patriots fan, well when his Seahawks lose that is. :0) He framed the first win of the season of Brady's for me. Blech... lol So now.. Below I have made a card using the larger tea cups in the set. I went with a soft and warm feel for the colors from a picture that I have sitting on my desk. I cut out the flower and popped it up on a dimensional, and added some sparkle to the cup.

Lampost greetings Day four

So have you enjoyed all the sneak peeks so far? Flourishes really knows how to wrap up the season don't they? Today we are using the set Lampost. This is a very versatile set for card making. I worked up a few cards for you today and a fun one as well. This one is using some basic grey paper, brads and ribbon..... very simple.

The below card is a springy birthday card very simple as well. I layered a spellbinders shape in the background and some doubled up ribbon.

For the one below I went out on a limb and tried the Snowglobe technique I found over on SCS here. What a fun shaped card. My sister is going to love this, she has a collection of different snowglobes. I used Cottage home as well as Lampost for this one. I have sparkle all over the place on the inside, but the picture wouldn't grab most of it. Laying flat this looks like the post is in front of the fence. How cool, or I think so. haha Sorry for the glare off the accetate but I couldn't get it to take without it.

Santa treats day Three

***I would like to say Thank You to all the Veteran's today as well as their families. I appreciate all you sacrifice in keeping our country safe. God Bless you and your families. May God keep you safe while you are away.***
Every year we put out a little snack for Santa. The boys really put some effort into the snacks, usually its cookies. This year we thought we would put out something he can take in the sleigh with him as he is going around house to house. hee hee This set is called Christmas Borders. I made this little treasure box to hold some hershey kisses. I can't find the template now, but I will find it and edit this later. I also stamped out the boys letter that they send to Santa each year. One of the boys started his list for you to see. And I doubt that Santa will get him his dirt bike this year, but that is why its a *wish* list right... right... lol

Below I have stamped out our special photo cards that we mail to family. This border set is perfect for photo cards. I know that family is going to like the photos being displayed in a handmade photo card verses the ones we have sent in the past. I added a few jewels to the corners and we can still write our letter on the inside. How cool is that.

Now onto the fabulous creations the girls made for you today:
Christine
Cindy
