Over on Flourishes newsletter today I am talking about White Space and how NOT to be afraid of it. I use a lot of white paper in my cards, I LOVE a lot of white clean space on my cards. It might be my OCD coming out onto cards, haha... I just think the clean and simple look sometimes is what makes the card pop. I have a few ways that I use white space so I will show you the two common ways I use it.
Below here is the single layer of white space I use a lot. I have a little color with the ribbon and paper. My Dove and Holly is the focal point and I added a little bit of sparkle to the leaves. Very simple.
Below here is what I call my layered white space. I have used the set A year of Flowers calendar set 2. I still have a lot of white space but I broke it up into two layers, and see it still looks so clean and fresh. I added a little white crochet ribbon and pearls to top it off.
See white space is nothing to be afraid of, so give it a try! You might not go back. hee hee Check out what the girls came up with for their version of White Space also:

I've always admired your clean, white style Stacy - and these cards are gorgeous!
Wow Stacy, they're both STUNNING girl! Now that I think about it, I am a little leery of all that white space...probably why I always seem to 'junk-it-up' LOL.
You're right though...all-white really does make those images POP!

Hey Stacy! These are gorgeous. I love the delicate coloring on the first and the trim with pearls on the second one makes me drool! Hugs,
Your Colts were here last night (my son loves the Colts, hubby too) and for a minute I was getting worried they might loose. It was a late game here, and all I could think about is if the Colts lost, how could I break the news to Jacob, he would of balled is little eyes out.
Anyhow, Your cards are just beautiful!!
