Happy Monday! We got back really late last night from DH Area One Match in Oregon. Very fun weekend and the kids survived with grandma and grandpa while we were gone. hee hee Went shopping and got some summer clothes so a great weekend all around. On to my creation.....
Over on the Totally Stampalicious Blog today we are celebrating Canada Day July 1st, so make your creation Red and White. I used Stampalicious Scarlette for my creation. You can only get this stamp if you spend $50 or more in one purchase. She is adorable and fun all around. This was a little binder that I made that has two pockets inside holding a few packets of jewels and a gift card to Hobby Lobby. Very simple and sweet and with the trip we had this was perfect.
Hope you get a chance to play along with us. Have a great day.

Beautiful Days
Happy Friday! I hope that you are enjoying summer so far. We have been non stop busy and its only starting. Today Flourishes Blog is a free for all, so I pulled out Zinnias for my creation. These flowers in the pot are so pretty so I went with a rose and burgundy colors today. Spellbinders has some of the most beautiful designs and this Parisian Motifs seemed perfect today. The copic collections I used to color the Zinnias are Dahlia, a touch of Fuschia and Green Grass for the leaves. Added a bit of the light pink pleated satin ribbon and done. This turned out so pretty I thought. Be sure to check out what the girls created today:

New Templates at Clear Dollar Stamps
Good Morning! I am so excited to show you the two newest templates from Clear Dollar Stamps. This first one is a classic of the red Radio Flyer wagon we all had as kids. Classic memories and such a great little gift idea. This Wagon is for the desk top to hold a friends favorite goodies Kit Kat. Now they may not thank me later having their favorite at hands grab every 5 seconds. ha ha Lisa made a darling little baby gift card holder you can see it here.
Next is the Wishing Well. If you missed the CDS Blog hop on Sunday you missed the sneak peek of this one. Here I have a baby gift for a friend of ours that had a baby girl recently. The well has two onsies inside and the bucket is holding the socks. Isn't it adorable? Great idea for a Get Well gift with soup packets inside and some cough drops. Birthday well with goodies inside, even a white and black one for a wedding would be awesome, so many options with the Wishing Well.
You can see all the templates over at Clear Dollar Stamps HERE! Enjoy and happy paper crafting!

Makes for a quick thinking of you card. I did add stickles to the sunflower however its hard to see in the photo. I hope you get a chance to play along with us today! FF Chocolate Zinnias
Welcome to Flourishes Free for all Friday! A reminder that time is running out for our New Release Bundle of the June Stamp sets. If you missed the release be sure to check out the bundle for some savings! About 7 months ago we finally got a Hobby Lobby in our town. Now this is huge for us and it is always so busy with crafters you almost don't want to go. However the pull to create is so great you go anyways and deal with the crowd. ha ha Anyways on one of the visit I came across these gorgeous flowers in a cream color and brown shades. They were beautiful and the colors were so soothing that I have started to color some flowers in creams and browns. Flourishes Bring Back Beautiful team had a challenge awhile back of coloring all things creams and browns even the flowers were fabulous.
So I have picked up the colors and having a grand time with it. This is one of the flowers in the new set called Zinnias. Don't they look marvelous? I just want to eat them up they are so chocolate and sweet looking. I colored these flowers with Copic Collections Creamy, a touch of Flesh Tones 2 and the leaves in Fields. Very simple layout and textures to my creation. I really like how this turned out.

Summer Sailing
I don't know about you but the smell of the salt air when we go to the beach is so relaxing and inviting. We go every year and I enjoy the family time we get without all the electronic world interupting us. In just a few short weeks we will be at the beach and I can't wait.
Today I pulled out Smooth Sailing and started coloring. This boat is so cool and the map from Lost at sea finishes it off for a great masculine card. I have lots of layers on this card and that is very unsual for me, however I really like how this turned out. I hope you are enjoying your summer so far! Have a great day!

Garden Fresh
Flourishes last set for June is sure to make you hungry it is called Garden Fresh. You still have time to play in our Star Spangled Banner challenge and your chance at winning the entire release. The New Release bundle will last till next Friday so be sure to get in on the savings. We have the Mystery Blogger happening today so make sure to comment on all the Design Teams blog posts for your chance at winning the set of the day!
With the Garden Fresh we have a Digi file of Fresh Recipe and Fresh Labels that goes with this set. I have used the recipe card in the file with my creation above. I have the best pickled beet recipe that my family LOVES. The kids will eat the beets over anything else its awesome. Now I have not dived into making the beet jelly that everyone in the family loves yet, but it isn't too bad I am told. I made a little card and recipe card along with one of my canned pickled beets to bring to dinner at a friends house next week. They love my beets and now they will have their own jar and recipe to make some just like it.
Next is a simple and sweet card that I made for my hubby. He needed to stay home with me on Monday because I was really sick. So this is for him and being such a great hubby. I know he will appreciate this even if it has a bit of lace on it. ;0) I used Spellbinders Lacey circles and Standard Circles. They are each popped up on dimensionals. Finished it off with some bakers twine and button combo.

Thanks a Bunch Zinnias

Today we are showing you Zinnias. Marcella sure can draw a flower oh my word. This is becoming one of my favorite flower sets. This first card is fairly simple using some scrap dp that I had in my stash. I used the new Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Squares for my framing. The Copic collections for the flower that I used are Robins Egg, a touch of Azure and Green Grass. Very simple but oh so pretty don't you think?
This is a gift that I made for a friend of mine. Inside is a fresh flower for her to plant outside in her flower garden. I used the Birdcage temlate from My Time Made Easy. The corner flower on the birdcage is the single flower in this set. However I stamped it out a few times and cut in layers to layer the flower up so its popped out. It really does look cool this way and I plan to make more layers like this.
For my card I used a fancy scalloped white ribbon and tied it off with a silver ribbon slider. I hope you enjoyed my sneaks today. Be sure to check out the DT creations:

HMF Challenge 97 Tea time
It's Monday and only 4 more days till summer vacation starts! Yippee!!! I am just as excited as the kids to have summer vacation here. Well today is House Mouse and Friends blog challenge which is brought to us by America and its all about Jewels or Jewlery. This weeks sponsor is Simon Says Stamp with a $15 Gift Card AND A Prize from America. Now America sent all of us Design team members some wonderful goodies for this challenge.
This sweet House Mouse image is a new one for me called Chamomile Tea. I got it a few weeks ago and just now inked it up. I have so many ideas with this stamp. Now I am not a flashy stamper so this challenge was hard for me. I did manage to put some jewels on the card along with this little charm that America sent me in my goodies. Thank you again girlie! I got some of the new bakers twine that everyone has been using lately, they are all springy colors so great timing. I hope you get a chance to play along with us this week.
Wednesday is the start of Flourishes sneak peeks, see you then. Have a wonderful day.

I made two cards for this challenge. This was my late night creation when I couldn't sleep. I really love the Hearts and Flowers set. Added a bit of the red crochet ribbon I found at the LSS with some new bakers twine I bought. Lots of sparkle added to flowers but couldn't get it in the photo very well.
This one is with Kids Play and I tried something new that I saw somewhere. I stamped the image in black, then I took a color and traced around each image. Not real easy to see in the photo but it looks okay. I may have done it wrong but I think it was worth a try. Sponged some clouds around the image but left the back panel white. Added the sentiment with some more of the bakers twine to tie it off.
