WOJ Sneak Peek Day 1 Ahoy...

Welcome to Day 1 of Whiff of Joy's January sneak peeks. For the next few days the design team will be showing you some fabulous sneak peeks of the new sets. Our official release and BLOG HOP is Jan 11th at  8 am CEST and your chance to win some of the new goodies! So let's get started....

I am showing you the totally adorable new stamp called Sailing Tour. The image is stamped onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. I have colored with various copic markers and to the water I added liquid glass along with some fairy dust for sparkle. I cut a Spellbinders standard large circle out and added brads to look like a window and slid my image into the sides. A little bit of bakers twine and a button to finish it off. I adore how cute this turned out and the boys really thought it was cool. Be sure to check out sneak peeks from the design team:

FS309 Henry's gone to space

This week's Featured Stamper 309 is Janelle aka dizzymommie. What a fun user name don't you think? ha!  I feel like that at time and can relate. A totally fun gallery full of great creations. I choose this Birthday Blast creation to case. I kept the colors, a space ship, stitching and stars and layout. Changed the bottom corners, textured panel and stamp set. Hope you can play along with us this week.

This is actually a sneak sneak peek you are seeing of a new stamp called Astronaut Henry. Isn't he totally FUN! I stamped him out onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. Colored him with various copic markers and then cut around him so I could pop him up on dimensionals. My circle is using a n embossing folder with stars and I added the sentiment from an older CDS set that is retired.

Here we goooo Colts, here we GO!

Do you know what today is? That's right today is the first day of NFL Playoff's for the season. And guess who is in the playoff's? YEP! Both my teams... Colts and Broncos! I am so stinkin excited I can hardly stand it. The thought that the Colts will beat the Ravens tomorrow and then play against Manning next week is just too much. I seriously think that game will send me into a tizzy! LOL  If they do end up playing against the Broncos next week,  I will be cheering for the Colts of course as they are my true team. However... don't kid yourself I won't hesitate to squeel when Manning throws a touchdown. I seriously am super excited for the playoff's this year and its been a few since I was this excited. Who am I kidding, I guess with the exception of last season I am pretty much excited every year! ha! 

Fun little card today using Football Brat from Totally Stampalicious. I have stamped him onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. He is colored with various copic markers then popped is panel up on dimensionals. My background has the fun star textured embossing folder, then added a bit of grass from my Sweet N Sassy grass die and then a few stars with brads. Easy Peasy!!  WHOHOO!!!!  Go Colts!

Love letters from Flourishes

Happy Friday!  It's almost time for Flourishes to take the lid off its January Release and like always, we want to give you a chance to win our newest sets as well! With the season of love fast approaching, we thought we better spice our challenge up with a little bit of amore! So, we are ushering in the....

 

Get your stamps out and your ink ready, this challenge is sure to be fun. My creation is using the beautiful From the Desk Of stamp set that I have stamped on classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.

 

I have colored with several copic collections for this one:

Thought I would add a bit of shape to this creation so I pulled out my Spellbinders label one for the shape. The ppaer is using Color Made Easy collections True Blue and Poppy. It is hidden a bit with the Color Made Easy Poppy ribbon but there is a little bit of white lauren venise lace trim under neath that ribbon bow tied off with some jute twine and a blue button. A few kaiser pearls and voila!

HOW TO PLAY: This challenge is a broad one that's all about LOVE -- use love as your theme, use letters as a focal point, or use the colors of love in shades of pink and red. The choice is yours! If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FLLCJAN13. Enter as many times as you like, but know that if you use Flourishes stamps, your entry counts twice! You have until January 11th, 5PM EST to enter. Just make sure you link your creation up below using our Inlinkz widget. As we said, winner gets our full January stamp set release. Blosser Frame

Good Morning! I know I have kinda gone MAD with the letters but I can't help it. I love this set to the moon and back I tell ya! This is my last gift that I made with Letters In Blossom... for now that is. hee hee  This is for some good friends of ours that I gave to them last week. I stamped out my Letters in Blossom set onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.  

My Letters are colored using copic collections:

I have layered the panel onto two Color Made Easy Collections True Blue and Poppy.

My rolled flowers are from my stash, they are easy to make and you can find the tutorial HERE. Some flourishes rhinestones for a bit of flair and voila. Another beautiful frame gift that they loved! WOJ 145 Celebrate your new adventure

Happy Wednesday! This is the first challenge of the New Year for Whiff Of Joy Stamps and I am excited. The challenge this week is Celebrate. Happy New Year, Birthday, anniversary something to celebrate! Be sure to link up your creations over on the WOJ Blog.

I am celebrating the new adventure of a job with my creation. I actually made this for a new job that someone just recieved as it will be an adventure like no other. Very exciting and nervous all in one I am sure. Which Direction Henry seemed perfect as the road ahead is wide open. hee hee  He is stamped onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink and colored with various copic markers. I have him layered up on dimensionals with some faux stitching for my sentiment tag attached. Added a fishtale tab and voila! Before I go check out the Stamp Kit Subscription. This is available for a limited time and WORTH getting! I love everyone one of mine.

Happy New Year and a new set of challenges....

The New Year brings a new set of Christmas challenges over on Splitcoaststampers AND we are in a new spot. We are now going to post the challenges each month in the Fan Club Forum so that everyone can see the challenge and play along each month. I thought I would start the year off with a simple creation and a for the most part flat rate mailer. This embossing folder is new to me. I sponged the textured with blue bliss ink after embossed, I added some fairy dust for sparkle to all the textures as well.  My sentiment is from a retired set called Christmas Wreath that I stamped onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. Some silver cord seemed appropriate so I added that along with some Color Made Easy True Blue collection paper. A few aqua kaiser rhinestones and a  true blue button finishes it off! Easy Peasy and 1 down for the year, whohoo!!! Hope you can play along with us this year!
