Flourishes Noon Childrens Christmas Challenge

Welcome to Flourishes Noon Challenge. Our challenge today is all about the children. You've heard the popular Christmas song lyrics - "Tiny tots, with their eyes all aglow will find it hard to sleep tonight!" So, get those tykes in the Christmas spirit with a card... just for them! That's right, make this creation all about the children in your lives! FLLCSEPTRW1. Be sure to link your creation back on the Flourishes Blog to be into the drawing for the winnings!
My creation is super easy peasy today. This is actually a smaller card also so that I can slip it under the front door for the boys to find one morning. hee hee Yes they know who Santa is, but the fun of the game is still worth it. I stamped out the santa hat in the set Dear Santa onto classic white cardstock in memento tuxedo black ink. I colored the hat using copic collection:

Once it was colored I cut out the hat and popped it up on dimensionals. Then added some fun super fine flower soft white to the hat and ball. How fun is that? My bottom panel section is using the embossing folder swiss dots. My sentiment was stamped then a red rhinestone was added just for fun. Easy Peasy! Be sure to see what the girls created for the kiddo's today:

Today is day 3 of Flourishes September new release and it is super fun. This set is called Dear Santa and so stinkin cute. I will get right into details about my creation today. I stamped out the boot in the set onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. My frame was using a few Spellbinders shapes such as labels eight, classic rectangles and romantic rectangles.
I used several copic collections to color this boot and the goodies inside:

Once my image was colored I layered with the two shapes and added dimensionals to the back before I adhered to the designer paper from my scratch bin. Some white crochet ribbon along with some beautiful red wrinkled ribbon tied into a bow. My sentiment has been attached with some mettalic silver string and a rouge sparklets added for bling. hee hee The boot has some fairy dust added to the fringe for sparkle too. Check this out... We not only have the Silhouette files for this set but as of Friday we will have a SVG file as well. Meaning if you have one of these fancy machines on the market you will be able to use the SVG files with them. Whohoo!

Beautiful Poinsettia and Pine

Welcome to day 2 of Flourishes September new release. Today the Senior Design team is teaming up with the Friends of Flourishes team for some fun. The challenge today is to find a Christmas photo on Pinterest as your inspiration. Be sure to link up your creations over on the Flourishes Blog.
Today we have the gorgeous Poinsettia and Pine to show you. Oh my word..... if you liked our Poinsettia and Boxwood you will just LOVE this new set. For my creation I stamped out the large image onto classic white cardstock with memento tuxedo black ink. A few copic collections were used for this creations such as:

After my image was colored I fussy cut around the image so I could pop it up on dimensionals. I believe we do have a Silhouette file for this Poinsettia and Pine set found HERE. Coming Friday for this set and all our other Silhouette files will be SVG files. This way those machines out there that are compatible will be able to use the SVG Files. And you won't have to fussy cut as I did. :0) My ribbon is using some beautiful white silk that I tied off my sentiment with using a Basic Grey Jovial button and some kraft jute twine. The layers of my panel are using Spellbinders standard large circles and picot edge circles. To finish it off my corners have some fun Prima crystals along with the center of my poinsettia.

FS292 Go Colts!

This weeks Featured Stamper 292 is Angela aka Angela R. Angel (as I know her) has a beautiful gallery full of talent and detail in every creation. I am having some fun with my case today as we have a fun little "taunting" going over the years with the NFL season. Since the season just started here is the first of our many fun taunts. hee hee I choose Angel's beach birthday invite to case. I in turn made some NFL pants the players wear.
Kept the blue colors, drew my own template as she did, changed the stamp and the sentiment. Ofcourse I did choose Angel's favorite team the Colts , her shorts were blue after all. See she loves the Colts deep down just doesn't want to admit it. hee hee My laces for the waist were using eyelets that I dusted off a few weeks ago and some sheer white ribbon to finish them off. My sentiment is from Football Brat, and for the elastic along the buttom of the pants I added some pleated white ribbon. HA! Hope you can play along with us this week. Angel enjoy your week girlie! Thanks for stopping in today!

Whiff of Joy fun

Been playing around with my new Whiff Of Joy fall secret kit this morning. I am suppose to be running errands and getting ready for my BIL 30th birthday. EEK! Noone tell! ;0) This couple is adorable. Used one of my beautiful Pat blooms. Image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto classic white cardstock. Scallop punch at the top is from SU. Added some twine and voila. Easy peasy.
This is so fun stomping in the grapes if you are a kid. Made me think of the twins. Framed using Spellbinders Fleur de lis rectangles, stamped image onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. some lace trim and a button twine combo to finish it off.

I made this for the Sept. cause of the month. This month is for Cole's Foundation. You can read and donate your cards HERE! We all have extra cards or even make new ones like I did to send off, hope you get a chance to donate. Finally inked up another of my new Whiff of Joy stamps called Fireman Henry. hee hee Just adorable I tell you. The thinking of you sentiment is from an older set that I couldn't tell you who it was from, its in the random bin as the package is lost. Easy peasy

Guess I will get ready and stuff done for the party. Have a fabulous day and FOOTBALL weekend! Whohoo!!!

Fight like a Girl, Any which way Challenge

Welcome to Flourishes September pre-challenge. This is your chance to win our entire new release and this month you will want to play as we have 5 fabulous sets. Just wait until you see them you will just squeel as I did. Our challenge is a Any which way sketch and you get to pick which way you want the sketch, how cool is that? Be sure to link your creations back on the Flourishes blog to be in the running!
My creation is using the Think Pink fight like a girl stamp set. I am working on a few cards for the girls at DH work and this is perfect. I started out with some classic white cardstock that I stamped the dress out in using memento tuxedo black ink. My order of the new Color Made Easy collection came in the mail so I was happy to pull that out, this is the Poppy Collection. My dress is colored using the matching copic collection:

For the panel in the sketch I wanted some feminine flair so the beautiful white scalloped lace trim was the perfect touch of feminine flair. Tied off my ribbon using the Poppy Collection melon color. Added some of the beautiful finesse swirls pearls, these are so hand as you can cut them and fit there in tight spots if you want and I really like that. Little bit of fairy dust to the dress and a few pearls and voila!
