Whiff Of Joy Advent Calendar Day #18

Welcome to Whiff Of Joy's Advent Calendar day #18. I am opening window #18 for you today.

For 24 days, an Advent Calendar window will open from one of Whiff of Joy Stamps' design team members' blog. And you will have the opportunity to win a special WoJ prize. From December 1st to December 24th you can find the link to each day's window at Whiff of Joy World of Ideas Blog and you will be dericted to the blog posting of the design team member's blog for the chance to win the image used for the day's window.

My creation today is using the adorable Henry Mouse Riding on a sheep. I created a wonderful little tag for a friend of mine today. First Henry is stamped out onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink, then colored with various copic markers.
Once I was done coloring I cut around the image so I could pop him up on dimensionals. I then die cut my frame using the smaller die in the Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles added a piece of the Echo Park Winter Wishes designer paper with a crochet lace and ribbon bow tied and adhered to the frame. Tied my ribbon bow off with some silver cord and a button. Attached Henry with the pop up dimensionals and added pearls to the corners. The sheep does have some fairy dust added to his wool for sparkle. Voila a wonderful little gift tag.

Want to WIN this stamp today?
Simply leave a comment on this post and you will be entered into the drawing for Henry Mouse Riding on Sheep rubber stamp. The Drawing will close in 24 hours directly from the time this posts 11pm my time. I will post a winner on Wednesday 19th at 8 am! Good Luck! I hope you have a wonderful day.

HMF 134 Hugs n Kisses

This week's House Mouse and Friends Blog Challenge 134 is Give a Christmas Hug or kiss. Our host this week is Kate and we have 2 sponsors this week! First is  House-Mouse Designs with a $25 gift card to the House Mouse Designs shop. Next is Di's Digi Downloads with  A $10 voucher to DDD shop. Lots of great prizes so be sure to link your creation over on the HMF Blog!
My creation is pretty straight forward and I love how it turned out. I stamped my image onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. My mice are called Mistletoe Moment and I haven't inked them up in awhile so this challenge was perfect. I die cut a spellbinders frame and layered them up on dimensionals, added some swiss dots to my background and some beautiful white sparkly cord to the corners. Of course this fits perfectly with the Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge this month called White Christmas. White Christmas. Create a white on white card with the only color coming from the image itself. Silver embelishments are great or take it for the title and use snow since white Christmas indicates a lot of snow. ha! Have fun with it. Be sure to include keyword SCSCCDEC12 so we can find your creation on Splitcoaststampers!  Have a wonderful day.

FS306 Deer Birthday

This weeks Featured Stamper 306 is Gail aka GailNM. Loved gallery gazing as Gail has fantastic skills! I kept going between 3 creations and finally decided on this masculine Thankful deer card. I needed a birthday card for my brother in law so this was perfect as I got that taken care of now. hee hee  I kept the layout, theme, and colors. I changed the stamp, turned my dp the opposite way and added some pearls.
This is a digital image from Delicious Doodles called Deer and Fawn. I have colored these deer with my chalks again as digi's and me just don't do well together ink wise. Added some of the cheery lynn flourishes with sprigs from my MS punch. My deer panel I dry embossed with the oval shape and then made sure to not die cut out the antler. I really like how this turned out. Hope you get to play and stamp today!

Christmas Gift Tag

Happy Saturday! I don't know about you but I am thankfully done with all my Christmas shopping! All my Christmas cards were mailed this week with only 2 of them coming back for more postage, now that is awesome. So I get to relax and enjoy the rest of the month. ;0)
I made several gift tags this year for a few friends this is one of them below. I inked up the adorable Henry Mouse with Lantern. He is colored using various copic markers.
Once he was colored I cut him out and popped him up on dimensionals. My tag frame is using Spellbinders Fleur De Lis rectangles the small one in the set. The fun Echo Park Winter Wishes paper was the perfect color along with some ribbons and snowflake jewels. Voila! I have really enjoyed making tags the last few years, not sure I can go back to store bought ones. ha!  Hope you have a fabulous day!

If you like this set, you might like our others called Inside & Out Just Because or Inside & Out Happy! Be sure to check them out as well.

My creation is a little on the darker side for me as these papers in the 123 Create kit are awesome. I stamped the sentiment onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. I die cut out our Perfectly Pierced Classic Hourglass and before I took the die off the paper I used a blade and cut out the center so that I had just the frame left for my sentiment. Stamped the rest of my sentiment onto the small die in the set. Doubled up my ribbon from the kit with the stripped for the base and the black trim over the top that I tied off with some krate twine and one of the buttons. Voila!

Flourishes introduces Winter Blossoms

It's day 2 of Flourishes' Sneak Peeks for December and today brings a beautiful illustration that's a part of a collection that Flourishes is offering to make your world bloom.... all year long!
Introducing......

Part of The Blossoms Collection, this beautiful array of late winter blossoms illustrated by Marcella Hawley features a bouquet, corner stamps, and pieces to create your own borders or frames. Add in a trio of all occasion sentiments and you have the perfect set to create cards for every day correspondence. Set measures 4 by 6" and is the perfect companion to sister sets Happily Ever After SS199 and Letters in Blossom SS198. If you like this set, you might also like our Summer Blossoms set featuring summer florals or our Autumn Blossoms set featuring Autumn florals.
Winter Blossoms is adding to my favorite list already as I love all of our Blossoms collections yet this is by far my favorite. I stamped the two blossoms onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.
My blossoms are colored using copic collections:

I layered my panel onto some Color Made Easy Crocus Collection along with our Color made Easy True Blue Collection. The ribbon bow is from the CME True Blue collection that I added a center Crystal Falls Crystal too for bling. My frame is with Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles. I really really love how this card turned out.
