Dream Big

Happy Friday! I love the weekends especially lately as we have been busy with friends, camp fires and s'mores. YUMO!!!  Over at Flourishes we know you loved our July Releases and all the fun summer ideas you now have for them...but we thought we'd show you one more round of creative projects today with our favorites, because that's always so fun for us! Remember that today is the last day you can purchase the July New Release Bundle at a discount.
Now for my creation! Garden Fairies is a very sweet stamp set that makes me smile. I stamped my image onto classic white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo black ink.

Colored with copic markers:

Once colored I layered onto Color Made Easy Emerald Coast and some Rich Browns. The designer paper you see is from Echo Park Beautiful Life paper pack. Ran some white crochet ribbon and some Color Made Easy Terra Cotta Japonica ribbon through the middle. A butterfly cut out from the extra designer paper added to the sentiment circle. Voila!
We invite you to take one more peek by hopping on over to visit:

This week our Designer Focus is the wonderful and sweet friend Heather! Get to know Heather a bit more and have a chance to case her work and win some Flourishes Goodies! Have a great day!

FTTC229 Mini Love note

This weeks Timeless Tuesday challenge 229 is Mini me. HA!!! Make a mini (3x3) size creation. How fun! I adore the mini versions of cards. Be sure to link your creation back over on the Flourishes Blog!
I used Spellbinders die for my little mini shape as it is cute and adds a bit of design. Cute a small piece of red gingham paper and added jute twine with a bow around it before adhere to the paper. I stamped the guitar from Love Notes onto Classic White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo black ink

Colored with copic collections:

Once colored I cut around it and added three tiny black brads to the guitar and some ranger stickles for sparkle. Added to my gingham paper and then my sentiment. Perfect for hubbies lunch box! Hope you have a wonderful day.

WOJ#159 Knight

Hello! Today is the new challenge over at Whiff Of Joy #159 and it is all about the boys. Yep create a card for the men in your life. Be sure to link your creations back up over on the WOJ blog.
Mine is for the shining knights to be in my life. hee hee  This is the adorable Knight Charlie that I stamped onto classic white cardstock. His shield was stamped and cut out then popped up on dimensionals. The really cool side border is actually our Endless Hearts Border Die-Light. However I think it looks rather rugged and cool for a guy card, especially in the black cardstock.  :-)   Added a few brads and voila! Hope you can play along this week.

Happy Tuesday! I have a fun birthday card for you today using the Summer Secret Kit. Are they just not the cutest little guys? Makes me smile looking at these guys. I stamped the imago onto classic white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Colored the image with various copic markers.
Simple design with a little bit of designer paper and ribbon down the middle. The corner accent is using our Cute Banner Trio 2 Die-Light that I layered onto each other and secured with a brad. Voila! Easy Peasy birthday card. Hope you have a wonderful day!

Eat well, laugh often, love much

Happy Monday! All my errands are done, house is half way cleaned and now I am getting to play. YEA!  Last week the boys and I went to the local country mercantile looking for a few gift ideas for some friends of mine. There was so many new things from jarred goodies, candies and packaged food I thought I was going to be there all day. However I found exactly what I was hoping to find! These awesome little spice packets are perfect. The only thing is they looked rather drab so I spruced it up a little with papers, ink and ribbon.
First I stamped the tomatoes from Italian Garden onto classic white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo black ink.

Colored them with copic collections:

After I cut the tomatoes out I added dimensionals to the back and set them aside. Grabbed some of our Color Made Easy Poppy cardstock and made a belly band around the seasoning packet. Before I secured it I added a scalloped edge using the Color Made Easy Pistachio cardstock.

Die cut some classic white cardstock using Perfectly Pierced Classic Window die and sponged some soft green color before I removed the die and adhered it to the center of the belly band. Wrapped my gingham ribbon around and secured into a bow. Added the tomatoes and some stickles on the leaves. A simple white crystal heart and voila! The red half circle is to cover where I took the silly tag off the top. However works great for pulling out the seasoning packet from the belly band. YEA!!!  Hope you are enjoying your day.

Once colored I scored around the edge added my sentiment and a jewel. Voila!
