FS460 Warm butterflies

This weeks Featured Stamper 460 is Susie aka Susie Nelson. What a sweet gallery. I choose this Grungy Thanks to case today. I kept with the butterflies, over all colors and changed the rest. Congrats and enjoy your week Susie! 

These are beautiful butterflies are from New Creature that are stamped on white cardstock. They are colored using Copic markers then cut out around. The great thing about cutting them out is you can pop them up and fold out the wings from the card base so they look as if they are in flight. Used scrap panel in the pretty blue for the base and a caramel panel with stitched edging with my sentiment from Happy Birthday. A few scattered pearls and some sparkles to the wings. Voila! Poinsettias and snowflakes

Can you believe that November is almost over? This month just flew by along with most of the year in my opinion. My creation today is using the beautiful Poinsettia stamp set. After my bloom was colored I cut around the edges so that I could pop it on my stitched panel. If you don't like to cut around the delicate petals, you are in luck with the matching Poinsettia Die. The sentiment is stamped on vellum and a notched end added for fun. 

The main panel is layered over a snowflakes designer paper and adhered to the base. A few scattered pearls  around the card and center of the bloom with some sparkles added. Voila! Thanks for joining me and have a wonderful week!

Let's Chill with a Black Fridaysale

He is printed on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers in the chocolate and brown tones. Textured a chocolate panel with some snowflakes that is layered on some designer paper. Chocolate snowman anyone?

Good morning! Found some new snowmen stamp sets to purchase this year and figured while I wait for them to arrive, why not play with the stock I have. hee hee  This is Snow is Overrated from Whipper Snapper. Adorable isn't he! Was in a chocolate mood for the color design for this one and figured this is easier on the waist line. hee hee  Anyways... 

Simple design with a Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders 3 along the bottom. A snowflakes textured panel behind the chubby little guy. Vellum overlay for the sentiment panel and a few accent dots and a button. Voila! Easy Peasy today. Hope you have a wonderful day!

FS459 Chocolate Sledding

This weeks Featured Stamper 459 is Kimberly aka mmkimber. Beautiful gallery of creations. I choose this Lets Go Sledding card to case. Kept with the chocolate color theme, over all layout and sled. Changed the stamp, sentiment placement and textured designs. Congrats and enjoy your week!

My sled is using Let it Snow that is stamped in chocolate ink onto white card stock. I added some stickles to the snow for sparkle but its hard to see in the photo. The background has some snowflakes dry embossed with a lace trim along the chocolate panel. Finished it off with a few sequins and a button and twine combo. Voila! 

FS458 Wreath Greetings

This weeks Featured Stamper 458 on Sunday was Jo aka Rambling boots. What a fun gallery of creations. I giggled at some as they were so fun and playful. I choose this Seasons Greetings card to case in the end. I kept with a wreath and the simplicity of the card. Changed the stamp, created a wreath and added sparkles.

 Kittie has a great wreath tutorial that you can follow and create your very own wreath. I think mine is lop sided myself. ha!  They are fun to create either way. My sentiment in the middle is from Poinsettia stamp set on white card stock. I have a sparkly green border around this and the border of the card for fun. Added some red rhinestones and voila! This adorable stamp set is called Santa's Helpers. I have a few friends that this set is perfect for. Stamped the doggie onto white card stock and colored with Copic markers. Layered with a few stitched die rectangles and stamped the paws along the base of the card. Some sequins, sparkled and voila!

Some birthday love

Do you know what today is? It is Sweet n Sassy's 8th birthday! Happy birthday SNSS and Korin for all your hard work and creations over the last 8 years! I am honored to be celebrating with them in our blog hop today.

My creation today is using Rose Blossom that I have layered up on dimensionals. The rose is colored with Copic markers and then cut around the second rose to pop up. I wanted a soft feminine feel so I went with the lace and ribbon center behind the panel. This Spellbinders die is always that perfect touch to girlie cards and some fancy pearl accents. To finish it off I added some sparkles to the rose. I think I should of added some swiss dots to the background before I added the roses. But.. I like this look also. Anyways, its all good. Voila! hope you can hop along and have a wonderful day. 

FS457 Angelic Snowman

This weeks Featured Stamper 457 is Mhines. Exciting gallery with so many gift sets you would of thought for sure that is what I had chosen to case. That was my intention however time did not allow for that today. Instead this Angels Among us card stood out to me with the soothing colors and design. I kept the oval shape and framing, colors, single image and simplicity.  Changed the papers, stamps and ribbons. Enjoy your week!

Instead of an angel I used this darling snowman called Snowman with birdhouse from Serenidipity stamps. He is stamped on white card stock and colored with Copic markers. My paper is from Basic Grey 25th and pine paper pack for the background. Added some lace trim and ribbon behind the image panel. A favorite Spellbinders die for the card frame and some stickles to wrap it up. Voila! Have a wonderful day!

Holiday wreath

Well if you have not been working on your Christmas cards all year, you sure are gonna start working on them now. I can't believe that we are into November already. Of course that is exciting as that means December is just a few short weeks away, yea! 

Okay onto my post today. This is a clean and crisp clean card today using Wreaths Plain and Fancy. I was going to use the larger wreath yet this smaller one was perfect for my card today.  The wreath is stamped on white card stock and colored with Copic markers. A simple scored border and some hexagon accents for the corners. Added sparkle to the ribbon around the wreath. Very easy peasy Christmas card.

A-Maize-ing day

Today over on the Power Poppy Blog we have the new Instant Digi for the day called Maize For Days. You can see this new digi and all our others in the store HERE. Pinterest has some super cool images of maize corn and I found this really cool one that inspired me. If you google just "maize corn" you can find some beautiful colored kernals as well. 

I really wanted the image to pop with the different colors against the white space and I think I nailed it. This turned out super pretty and colorful and it will be just the ticket for my friend. The sentiment could not of come at a better time, Thanks Ally! My sweet friend needs a little smile as of late so this will be perfect. 

After the image was made a bit larger for my panel, it was printed and colored with Copic markers. The photo above had those beautiful orange and browns and yellows that just made for a great inspiration piece. Printed the sentiment onto vellum and place over the image. Voila! Shimmer Tidings

Happy November! Can you believe Christmas is just a few shorts weeks away? Time is creeping up on those Christmas cards and this months Dirty Dozen November challenge is all about those ornaments you have. Do you like the Shimmer, Shine, Sparkle or Country style? Create your card based on the type or ornaments you have on the tree. Some of you might have those family heirlooms or the classic shiny balled ornaments. You can even create a card simply with ornaments if you would like. Enjoy and have fun with it.

This photo does not show the ornaments very well and the shimmer. I used a matted shimmery paper when I die cut these Delightful Decoration dies from ODBD. The middle ornament is using the matching stamp set Delightful Decorations clear set. Added some bakers twine to the ornaments and some sequins accents. The middle ornament has some suduko gel pen added to the blue and that is hard to see as well. My tree is rather shimmery ornaments or all shiney depending on the year. I think this year will be the matted shimmer look with lots of tinsel.  ;-)  Hope you can play along!

I kept with tulips, over all layout and design. Changed the sentiment, used Copics and scored the border. Enjoy your week Kim. 

I stamped Spring Tulips onto white card stock. Layered onto some black then red card stock. Colored my tulips with Copic markers and added some sparkles in red to the blooms. My sentiment is from Happy Birthday stamp set and voila!
