Quite a Christmas, day four

Good afternoon and welcome to Power Poppy's Quite a Christmas release part one. What do I mean part one... well our fabulous and talented Marcy has been drawing away like a mad girl and she has a total of 10 stamp set/digital sets for you. All of these are available in digital format OR in stamp form. Woot woot! We will be sharing the first 5 with you over the next few days. Then the other 5 starting November 12th. Marcy has information and notes on all the sets found on the Power Poppy Blog each day. Get ready and enjoy!

Today we have Let It Glow! I know several of you started with the song Let It Go in your head, but it is Glow. ha ha! What a fun set with so many options.

Time is not on my side this week and I knew I wanted to use the light strand with this sentiment. I highlighted some of the letters in the lights color for the fun. Some simple embossed snowflakes for the background and sparkles on the light bulbs. Voila!

Day three is sure to have you drooling with Garden of Gratitude. Can I hear and oh my goodness... This set is totally fun right? The other ones in this set are just waiting to be colored. Simple layers with some of the falling snow embossing folder for the backdrop. Along with a Spellbinders die cut edge along the bottom.

My image is colored with various Copic markers. I went with purple boots for a friend who will just adore this card. Added some die cut flourishes leaves and then sequins and stickles to finish it off. Voila

Quite a Christmas part one, day two

Good afternoon and welcome to Power Poppy's Quite a Christmas release part one. Did you enjoy day one? I know we sure enjoyed being able to show the new set.Today we have for you Enchanted Branches- Nativity. The sprigs were calling my name to color and cut out for my tag accents so I did just that. hee hee  There is a lot of suduko gel pen around the edges and on the greenry for sparkle but hard to see in the photo. I took it at an angle to get as much shown as I could.

The designer paper is from and old Bo Bunny pack called rejoice. I die cut the two layers with a spellbinders decorative die then layered onto the base. Added the ribbons and cord for the tag holder and sequins accents. Voila!

First up is Mossy Pots with Paperwhites stamp set or digital format. For my card I really wanted to go with a light feel and some aqua shades. I dug around in the designer paper pile to find what would work for my color choices and found this from the pack Authentique called Colorful Christmas which was perfect.

My image is colored with various Copic markers and then a scored border around the edge. Wrapped some lace trim with ribbon and silver cord around the base layers. My sentiment is tied off with some silver cord and enamel dots. Stickles on the ornament balls and voila!

Sweet Friday

Good morning. Trying to catch my breath the last few weeks and haven't had time to post much. I did create this card a few weeks back and finally sat down to post it. This is using Apples in Season that I colored using Prisma colored pencils.

Once colored a simple die cut for the shape to layer onto the designer paper. I also added a strip of green olive paper down the side to match under the sentiment circle and the button. Some enamel dot accents and sparkles to finish it off. Voila!
