CDS Sneaks Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of Clear Dollar Stamps Jan. Sneak Peeks. Remember all the stamps you are seeing will be available on Jan. 1st at the CDS Store. This one is a scripture set 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. I went with a very soft and subtle look to this one. I had the twine criss crossed and thought it would look cool, then I am silly and go and cover up the criss cross part with the flower. Duh... I wonder about me sometimes. ha ha Enjoy the sneaks from the girls:

CDS Sneak Peeks Day 1

Hi everyone... I hope your Christmas was well spent with family and friends. I think this was one of our best years yet. It seems to go by faster and faster each year, but the time with family is so precious. January is just around the corner. EEK... Speaking of January Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peeks begin today! All sets will be available on Jan. 1st over at the CDS Store.
I have a few sneaks to show you today. This first one is called Heart Hugs. Is that bear not adorable? I want to hug him he is so so cute. I have a few ideas in mind for him, this one I did a a simple white on white framing with a little ribbon tab on the side. Very simple but oh so sweet don't you think?

Springy goodness with this one using God's presence. I had some dp scrap sitting on the table so I grabbed it for the colors. I like this pink ribbon trim very cool looking. Sponged while the spellbinders die was still in the frame and finished it up with a few pearls.

How fun is this little lamb... This whole set called Loving Critters is adorable and perfect for Valentines day. I giggle at all the animals in this set, they are so much fun. This picture came out so dark and I don't know why sorry about that.

Don't miss all the sneaks from the other girls today:

See you back here tomorrow for more sneaks!

I added some blue silk ribbon and a few pearls. I popped up the Merry Christmas sentiment on an oval and voila all done. I love how this turned out. Have a wonderful day!!!

Christmas Blessings....

I just love this Santa image! I made this for the DD challenge this month since I had all my Christmas music playing. I used Santa, I believe and Christmas Music. I kept this very simple and added some Sheer ruffled red ribbon, red pearls, and some candy cane stripped twine. The sparkle on his had and beard isn't showing very well. He is colored with pastel copics. I angled the panels for fun since I usually have them all perfectly straight. hee hee Thanks for stopping by!

Free for all Friday....

Today is Free for all Friday over on Flourishes Blog. This is using the new set called Butterflies and Blossoms . I really wanted the sentiment to be my focus. As you can see there are several spellbinders shapes that I used to layer. The butterfly is colored, cut out and layered 3 times up on dimensionals, the pearls are the finishing touch. I really like how this turned out. The release bundle special is running out of time so be sure to check it out if you missed it. Be sure to check out the wonderful creations from the DT:

The boys school Christmas party is today and then they are on winter break. I have tied up some loose ends this week, baked up a storm and tried to have the house clean while people were showing it. Needless to say I need a break. Still haven't gotten all my Christmas cards done, however I am working on them. Running out of time I know.... EEK.... I am just thankful that DH has most of next week off. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Midnight Christmas

Dusted off my Lovely as a Tree set and made a winter wonderland. Sponging the edges is something that takes me forever and I can never seem to get it quite the way I want but this time I didn't do too bad. Added some stickles and some super fine flower soft to the trees. The boys said they wanted me to send this card to us this year, they really like how it turned out. lol I am not sure I can send myself a Christmas card. :0) I do like how this looks though. And this Still Waters ribbon is awesome!!! Another Christmas card down! I am running out of time to get these finished. ACK.... Hope you have a great day!

Blue snow cottage

I just love this snow cottage image and made another card this weekend. All that snow is with the liquid applique stuff so it looks so real. I added some sparkle to the tops yet its hard to see in the photo. I thought a blue house would be great this time around. Love how you can color whatever you want in stamp land. ha ha See you back on Wednesday with a Sneak Peek from Flourishes. Thanks for stopping by.

Get Well friend...

It is that time again for Flourishes Pre-Challenge and your chance to win our December Release. Our challenge is **Winter White** Now I was about out of my seat with this challenge... all that white...ooohhhhaaaahhhhh That just says Stacy all over it. hee hee I could give a link to half my gallery of white creations. However I made a new one for you today.

I made this for a friend of mine who I just adore and is the sweetest person you will meet. I thought a springy yellow with the white would be perfect. I have layered a few spellbinders and cut out my Cherry Blossoms and popped them up on dimensionals. A little sparkle around the rim and voila. I used the get well sentiment from the Sweet Violets set. I have sent this with a prayer and she should be getting this today if I planned it right. :0) Check out what the girls created with Winter White:

Christmas Spirit Challenge 8

Happy December 1st! I can't believe it is December already and as I get older the time keeps going faster and faster. The kids think it is draggin on and on, ha ha My to be young again and be bored. :0)

Today is Flourishes Christmas Spirit Challenge #8 **That's not the point**. Use any flower except a Poinsettia for your creation. I pulled out my lovely Paperwhites and went with a soft feel for this card. I have cut out the flowers and popped them up on dimensionals. Lots of pearls and I even added a few to the center of the flowers. I like how soft and pretty this turned out.
Hope you get a chance to play along with us. Be sure to check back this Friday, its time for Flourishes Pre-Challenge for the December release. Have a great day.
