Hershey Kisses treat

Check out Splitcoaststampers today, I have a tutorial in the Resources Section on how to make this darling little hershey's kisses shaped treat holder. Beate asked me to create a tutorial on this fun little idea and I said sure!  My sample here is using Flourishes Warm Winter Wishes set.
Here is another one I made using the new Whiff of Joy secret Kit for winter. I seperated out the sentiment and put part on the tag above. These are easy peasy and cute little gifts for teachers, friends and neighbors. Can't wait to see what you create.

This Kisses Tutorial can be found also at SweetandClassic.com.  Have a wonderful day!

Jammies and Tag

I recieved my new Whiff of Joy Secret winter kit, so I am having a bit of fun this morning. Once again an adorable set that I am just thrilled with! I probably should just buy the whole year kit at the beginning as I have not recieved one I don't love yet. ha ha!

Pat sure had us girls going this weekend with our Christmas tags and Christmas jammies. I thought it would be fun to show you my Christmas jammies I had on. hee hee He is so stinkin sweet and I had fun making this card just because. I stamped out the mouse onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. Colored him with various copics and then added a paper doily to the back. Ofcourse what is a Christmas card without some lace and ribbon.

I will actually be putting this on one of DH gifts as he thought this was super cute when I showed him the new goodies that came. I stamped the mouse out onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. I colored him with various copics and then I cut him out and popped him up on dimensionals. Several Spellbinders dies were used for the layered shapes. Added some ribbon and lace, tied off some tiny bells with silver cord and added some fairy dust. Voila!  Another Christmas Tag done for the Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge this month. Time is running out to get those tags done. If you play along be sure to put keyword SCSCCOCT12 so we can find your creations. Thanks for stopping in again today!

2 Corinthians Stand

Another scripture for the stand done, I am getting there. I need to get this finished and sooner than later! This scripture is 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. I do have a black base and black ribbon however the flowers are a dark maroon yet are showing up more black in the photo. I just love these Decorative  Grand ovals from Spellbinders, almost as much as the rectangles just not quite as much. hee hee  My blooms are from my stash that Pat made me. hee hee  She spoils me. Anyways, another one done! Have a great day

Warm and pink

This darling girl is becoming a favorite in all my Miss Anya's that I own. The colors are a favorite combo of mine also so this card just came together without much hassle. Yea!  She is called  Miss Anya Scarves that I stamped out onto classic white carstock using memento tuxedo black ink. I colored her with various copics and then cut her out to pop her up on dimensionals. Can't get enough of these romantic rectangles from Spellbinders. You are probably tired of them but I can't help it, I adore this look. Added some crochet lace and ribbon with some mini pearl daisies flowers and voila!  Hope you have a wonderful day!

Wild Wild Christmas tag

Things in jammer town are busy and full of christmas today. Apparently Mrs. Smethers wanted us to all wear Christmas jammies while we watched some football and got our Christmas tags done. Perfect as the Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge this month is about over and its all about tags. If you create like we all have use keyword SCSCCOCT12 so we can find your tags too. This is a special tag that I made for Pat using Wild Wild West set from Stampin Up. The ornament shape is from Spellbinders that I die cut out in the designer paper then layered on some red cardstock. Since this is a Christmas tag I die cut out some poinsettia's and popped them up on the tag with some sparkle as well. This has a lot of sparkle, yet its hard to see int he photo always. His scarf is fancy red for Christmas with saprkle too. Now for the Giants and Cowboys game!!!  Enjoy girls. hee hee

You're a classic FS299

Good morning! Today I have a masculine case for our Featured Stamper Challenge 299. This weeks FS is Janine aka nines. This classic card was perfect for a case today as I am in a masculine create mood, if there is such a mood, ha!  I kept with a classic ride, the colors, layout and sentiment. I changed the stamp to Classic Truck from Impression Obsession and colored with various copics. Added a few brads to mine and done. Great masculine card and super easy. Hope you get to play along with us this week.
On a personal note DS is doing well. We went in for another x-ray Wed. and got a new cast with new colors, he was pretty excited. We go through this all again in 2 weeks, which is all new to us. We thought you had a cast on the whole time and never changed them out, guess not. Every 2 weeks he will be getting a new one it looks like. The last one might just be a forearm cast as of right now he is in a full arm cast still. The swelling had gone down considerably and this x-ray actually showedhe broke both bones, however the other break was very small and hardly noticable. We did get the sign of NO surgery or pins needed. Praise God! Things have been interesting around the house and school. I am writing more school work than I have in a long time.  :0)  Brother has been a big help with chores. Looks like it will be closer to 8-10 weeks in the casts,  longer than anticipated. DS has pretty good spirits about it, although being a boy and so active it makes recess and play time a bit more challenging.  Thanks for the prayers for DS and for mom and dad. Have a great day!

You're My MVP

There is much dilemma talk in jammer town over on SCS lately about stamping or football. Sounds like some are having a hard time deciding, well not me. Football it is girls! HA!   This is a few months out of the year and I look foward to it each and every year. So here is my salute to the dilemma. hee hee  This adorable little guy is from Totally Stampalicious called Football Brat that I stamped out on classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. I colored him using copic markers. The little horseshoe tag is some ribbon that my friend Judy aka stampingqueenjar sent me awhile ago. Certainly fits the Colts fan that I am. I added stickles to his gloves, the star and the little horseshoe tag. So here is the question for you.... What would you choose? Stamping or Football? Cast your vote and let me know! hee hee  Have a wonderful day!

Now for my creation...I had this whole masculine card in mind when I started this creation and well, not sure what happened. ha!  I stamped out my sentiment single called Sweetness of Friendship onto classic white cardstock using Memento tuxedo black ink. Before I cut the sentiment rectangle I stamped one of the trees from Forest of Trees using garden green ink.
I layered the sentiment panel onto some Pistachio Color Made Easy cardstock. Along with some matching ribbon from the Color Made Easy Pistachio called moss green. I have to tell you these collections make is super easy to pick everything from ink, ribbon to cardstock. I like that!
My frame shapes are using Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles that I can't seem to get enough of. I really do love this shape and makes awesome framed shapes. Added some white crochet lace behind my ribbon bow that has a Crystal Pastel center for some bling. Now you see why this can't be a masculine creation. ha!

Butterflies and lace

When I did my creation for the FS Sunday I figured I better get a few more scriptures done for the stand. This one I went with the colors of the designer paper for my colors. Orange is not one of my favorites yet I do like how this turned out. The paper is from the Bo Bunny collection country garden. I cut out two butterflies from one of the sheets and have them popped out on the sides along with some rhinestone flourishes.
My scripture is 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 from Clear Dollar Stamps. This was a single now its in a set it looks like. I layered the scripture panel onto a spellbinders shape and popped it up on dimensionals. Added some brown ribbon with cream lace over lay and voila! I might just be done in time to give this to the teacher soon. ha!  Thanks for stopping by today.

I have colored the image with several copic collections:

Once colored and cut out I decided to split my background base and use these eyelets I dusted off weeks ago. Added a little bit of peppermint green bakers twine to tie them off. A fun little tag for the sentiment and voila. This was super easy peasy. Hope you get to play along this week. Have a wonderful day.

FS298 Isaiah 9:6 Scripture

This weeks Featured Stamper 298 is Marcie aka Disaster. Funny screen name with a cute and fun gallery. I choose this springy Thank you card to case. She stated she used some fresh, fun and springy papers on her creation. I am working on my scripture stand still and the layout was perfect for a sentiment focus. I printed the scripture in Word onto classic white cardstock.

Then I used Spellbinders for my frame, kept the layout the same, a sentiment focus and some fresh and fun Christmas papers as hers were springy. These pinecones from Naturally Merry were perfect for the flower spot she has on her creation. I colored my pinecones using copic collections:

After I cut each one out, I then popped them up on dimensionals. Turned out great I think and another one done for the stand. Hope you have a wonderful day!

We all get to share another creation using the new releases from October. Don't forget the New Release Bundle is ending which means the discount will go away soon.
My creation is springy and fresh today, with the wind and rain we have I was feeling more like spring. hee hee   I stamped out my sentiment from Sentimental Favorites onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. Then grabbed my Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles to cut out the shape for my sentiment.
I had a few pieces of the My Minds Eye Howdy Doody paper left and layered that onto some cardstock from the Color Made Easy Collection Terra Cotta.  The layer of Fancy Lattice was perfect to overlay onto the designer paper. Abigails Door Hanger

Gifts are so special in our house and the boys almost always ask for the girl birthday parties they get invited  to, that I make them a gift. This is a door hanger that I made for one birthday we went to. I asked the colors of her room and created a hanger she can put on the door or wall. First I stamped out Abigail using Letters in Blossom onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.
I then colored the letters using copic collections:

I layered the name panel onto Color Made Easy Collections True Blue and Sunflower. For the base of the hanger I actually use cardboard that is the hard backing in paper packs that I cut down to the size width and depth that I desire. In this case it is about 11 inches long by 5 inches wide. I had some Stampin UP paper from gosh knows how long ago that matched perfect to my colors. Thought a fun little spellbinders trim to the ends would look nice and then my flowers.
These rolled flowers are fantastic and well.... I did not make these. ha! They were a gift from Pat, however she has a fabulous easy peasy tutorial on how to make them HERE. Then a little bit of the flourishes pearls to tie it together. I really like how this turned out and she loved it as well. Thanks for stopping in with me today.  Hope you have a wonderful day!

TT191 Snow Fun warm up

The Timeless Tuesday challenge over on Flourishes Blog Today is Winter inspired. Well this was perfect for me to make a quick little hot cocoa treat made using Snow Day. I stamped out the image onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink
I colored the image using copic collections:

Once colored I used Spellbinders classic circles and scallop circle to create the tag. I have a mini bag of marshmallows and a hot cocoa packet that I wrapped with a belly band technique and tied it off with my tag. Added a little sparkle with fairy dust, my silver mettalic string and a brad. Voila easy peasy little treat. Hope you have a wonderful day!
