WWW New Furniture

Mrs. Kelly and I have been busy busy busy. And I mean working around the ranch house, the ranch itself and visiting family that has been in town. I have snuck away a bit and made Mrs. Kelly a new dresser at the house. She really likes the pearly brass knobs so I added those to the front instead of the solid knobs you see all over. Here you can see the whole dresser gift set she has.

The scripture on the top of the dresser drawers is from Our Daily Bread designs. Isn't this velvet crochet ribbon just beautiful? I know she is going to love that and the copper ribbon slider I added. Not bad for a new hubby and his bride. I think I might win some brownies out of this little project.

Ofcourse I had to make her a card thanking her for the last few weeks of wedding bliss. I pinch myself all the time thanking God for this wonderful woman he has sent me. We have gotten a few pieces of mail since the wedding and we have yet to get our thank you cards done. Kinda hard when you are working and playing ya know. hee hee

Sounds like the West family is doing just fine... I did send the Wild Wild West set back to Pat but not before I made a ton of images of the set. Oh yea this saga has more and more coming. The drawer template is from Holly over on SCS found here. I make a lot of these since they are great little gift ideas. I made a double dresser here as you can see instead of a single. Most of the cards with the WWW are in the dresser and are yes a gift for Kelly. Oh did I not mention that Mrs. Kelly is one of my sisters???? I may have neglected to mention this prior. ha ha

Have a great day!

Gabrielle 1,2,3, Create Kit

Good Morning! Flourishes unveiled the new 1,2,3, create kit last week called Gabrielle. I showed you the whole gift set that I had made and here are a few of the items in the gift tote that you couldn't see. All this made with the Gabrielle kit and I still have lots more to make cards or even another gift tote.

May is a super busy month for us with Mother's Day, birthdays and anniversaries are just about every few days. These gift totes are wonderful to have on hand. I actually made this tote for my friend Heather that is doing a weekly bible study with me. Just as a little thank you for being a great friend.

Here is the bookmark using the sentiment from the new Orchids set. I altered a notepad isn't it awesome. Just look at those butterflies aren't they beautiful? I love making these totes and you sure have enough in the kit to make more than enough for one or several friends. Today Barbara Sharon and Jan Marie have some creations to show you with the Gabrielle kit as well!

The New Copic Collections 3 is also out. Don't forget to check those out when you are getting your new 1,2,3 Create Gabrielle kit! Have a wonderful day!

Barbeque Grill Template

Happy Friday! Today I am so excited to share with you the new template (SVG and PDF) file over at Clear Dollar Stamps. Does this look familiar? Yep Lori owner of Clear Dollar Stamps asked if she could make a template of my fun treat box I made for my FIL. Of course I said yes, how cool is that! I am honored she asked me.
Check out Lori's Blog and the Clear Dollar Stamps store! The winners from our Monthly Blog Hop are posted so be sure to check out if you won. My blog had a winner from the posts! yea.

Here is my first barbeque made with the template. I have a bunch of snickers snacks inside this one. hee hee I used A Godly Father again for the sentiment on the front of this one. Now my dad will have a BBQ grill also. This would be so fun for a brithday party, summer bbq with friends, a gift for someone. Really a lot of fun and just so cool to see that others can make it too! Thanks for joining me today!

Before I get to my card let me tell you the surprise! Flourishes is unveiling today the new Copic Collections 3! Oh my goodness these new collections are wonderful. They are in store now and you can check them out HERE!
Now for my card I made with the Orchids. I have layered these Orchids up on three layers. These are pretty detailed in drawing let alone cutting them out, but persistence is key with cutting. ha ha The Spellbinders Nestabilities label Fourteen was the perfect shape to show off these Orchids. I added some jewels and this awesome crochet ribbon trim I found at the LSS. I like how this turned out and it will cost a small fortune to mail. :0) So I might have to hand deliver this one.

Be sure to check out the wonderful creations from the DT: Christine Cindy Julie Leslie Dawn Danielle Barbara

He is super cute and a great set for my boys and the cards I make them. I pierced a bit around the panel and added a few brads pretty simple and sweet.

This little lady is just precious as all get out. If you have girls you have to have this set called Ava Flowers. I finally found at the local sewing store some of the awesome lace ribbon trim that everyone has and I bought all she had which wasn't a lot. But I do love how it looks on cards. Ruff... Hello Friend

I got my new Whipper Snapper stamps the other day. This one is Harry the dog. Isn't he just adorable? I bought him for a few reasons one specificially to make a card for my friend Leslie. She is such a sweet friend and I had the chance to meet her at CHA last year. She has a puppy (well almost 2 years now) named Wally. We share stories of our bundles of fur and I know she will adore this image.

I wanted to make a paw card when I got these stamps. I added some liquid glass to the nails for the shine of the nails. Of course I had to free hand the paw shape so be nice in your assesment of my paw. ha ha I stamped some paw prints on the inside and used a paw brad that DH got me for Christmas last year. I think this is adorable and I hope Leslie likes it too. Be sure to check in Thursday night at 6pm Central for Totally Stampalicious New Release and Blog Hop! Have a wonderful day!

I chose the beautiful Tulip Wreath and A Godly Mother for my card. I am working on getting some of the girls cards done at DH work early. This wonderful Memory Box Minuet paper is full of fabulous shades of blues and greens. I love tulips in blue don't you? This is for the CIC26 Bling challenge also for CDS. I have jewels on the sentiment tag and stickles on the center of the flowers. If you click the picture to make it bigger you can see it better. Added a bit of white crochet ribbon and soft blue cotton and tied it off with a button and twine. I really like how this turned out. The sentiment in the center is a great focal point I think. I think every sentiment in this set is just wonderful and thoughtful. I am going to show you two cards that I made for some of the girls at DH work. This first one I paired the sentiment with the set Hello Hyacinth. A very rich and regal color comob with the red and black I think. The paper is from MB Broiche, a bit of black ribbon with the fancy red pleated ribbon.

More of a springy feel to this card using the same paper pack MB Broiche. You can never go wrong with the Stamp Simply Thank You set. I stamped the tulip twice masking the stem before stamping the other over it. After colored I cut them out and popped them up on dimensionals over the oval. HM&F Easter Challenge 93

Happy Monday! It is time for the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge. This weeks challenge is brought to us by Scoopy Sue C our sponsor is Simon Says Stamps with a prize of $15 gift card. Check out the blog for all the DT creations and to link up your Easter creation. I wasn't sure what image I wanted to use for this challenge. I don't have an Easter one that is large, just this tiny one called Mudpie Holds Jellybeans . I used the tiny feet image across the bottom at an angle. Added the sentiment with the awesome Spellbinders nested lacey pennants. I think it turned out super cute. Boys had to go back to school today. I think they want summer here as much as I do. After church we went to a IFL game (Indoor Football Game) and it was super fun. I told DH that this might be the only football game I see this year at the rate the NFL is going. LOL Let's hope they come to some agreement before the season is suppose to start. ;0) See you back here on Wednesday for Flourishes Sneak Peeks for the April release! Have a great day.

Bunny, Cakes and Blooms

Today is the last day of Clear Dollar Stamps April-June Sneak Peeks. All sets you have seen the last few days will be available on April 11th at 11 am Central time. This first set is called Wedding Cake. The IC279 challenge had some awesome photos. This Name a rose box caught my eye. I have a very feminine and frilly cake first. Some swiss dots bg with the beautiful MB Pixie paper. I have had so much fun with these pennants and button tags on cards lately if you hadn't noticed already. ha ha
This is a more elegant party wedding card. Very classy with the red, black and white. I have the flower on the top popped up on dimensionals. Added a few buttons and twine combo to the corner. This actually turned out different than I had pictured in my head however I like how it turned out.
Here is sentiment Thanks for helping me bloom that I paired up with the Silhouette thoughts. I adore this polka dotted paper but for the life of me can't remember where its from. This pink velvet crochet ribbon is perfect with the paper and tied off with a button and twine combo. This set is called Bunny Kids. This is such a sweet set and I had fun coloring up these darling little bunnies. I made a cute little baby card with this one. Added a few pearls and a Spellbinders Nested Pennants shape. Too cute huh.
This one I sponged some clouds on the main panel and added a photo corner with brads. Very simple, kept the focus on the bunny and the sentiment. Great use of some scrap dp as well.

Be sure to check out the last sneaks from the dt:

It's all about the men today

Day 3 of Clear Dollar Stamps sneak peeks is all for the man or men in your life. Today we are showing you Father's day, You're A Wheely great dad and For Our men. I just LOVE these sets. I make lots of masculine cards so these sets are becoming a go to already for me. First set is called Father's day. A simple Father's day one with the hammer image and a few screw head brads that I have had forever. Next I took the shirts in the set and I stamped them onto scraps of dp to make some dress shirts. how fun is that and its a one layer card even. Yea! I even stamped out solid color ties for the fun of it. Isn't it cute?

What Father's Day would be without a classic car huh? Yep this sentiment is You're a Wheely great dad. I paired it with the Camaro 1969 stamp. A textured bg and a few brads, very simple.
Now we have For Our Men set that I paired with Scripture Children on this card. This little boy is so sweet and perfect for these sentiments.
I let this one be super simple and show off the tag with the awesome Memory Box dp called minuet. Oh so warm and pretty colors in the pack.
Some easy and fun masculine cards huh. Check out the awesome sneaks from the other DT:Candy Cassie Laurie Linda Tricia Trudy Barb Christi Shell Gloria Lisa Sarah See you back here tomorrow!
