Then a simple score around the border and some enamel dots and my sentiment. Voila! I kept this really soft in colors other than the red and I like how it turned out. Now for my bold colored one that I started to finish that and post later for you. :-)

Quite a Christmas part two Cuddle In The Cabin

Good Afternoon and welcome to Power Poppy's Quite a Christmas release part two. If you missed part one check back on the PP Blog HERE for the start and all the sets both parts. Marcy has drawn a total of 10 new stamp sets/digital for you. These are all available in digital format or in stamp form. More information from Macy and noes on all the sets can be found on the Power Poppy Blog each day. Get ready and enjoy!

Today we are sharing with you Cuddle In The Cabin. Don't you just love the wintry scene of a cottage and snow all tucked back like a hide away. More times that not I wish I had a cabin to go to just for quite and serene feel of it all. Anyhow...My creation today is using Prisma colored pencils after I stamped my cottage onto kraft card stock.

Before I stamped the sentiment I also stamped in light gray ink the extra tree in the set for a background of the sentiment. Didn't quite turn out like I thought it would but it doesn't look too bad. Die cut a heart out in red to bring out the chimney and the word heart in the sentiment. Added a wood button and some twine to the edge and voila!

Christmas Wreath

Good morning. Welcome to the November Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge. You can find this months challenge HERE
This months challenge is one I had a totally different plan for and then I went another direction with it. I will have to work on my first idea later this month. I went with Berry Sweet Holiday for my card today.

I colored this wreath with various Copic markers and added sparkles. My pennant layer is sponged with orange ink before I removed the die to bring our more of the orange in the wreath. A red lace trim down the edge along with some orange twine tied off the edge. Scattered some enamel dots for accents and voila! Hope you can play along with us this month.
