Fall bountiful bouquet

Happy Friday! Oh my word... Can you believe that we only have 3 months left to 2018? The time where did it go this year?!?!?  Lots going on these last 3 months and then guess what, the new year will be here. ACK!!! Moving on....  How about a card? This is a fall creation using Bountiful Bouquet.

This is a sketch that I will be using again as I like how this turned out. Actually had embossed this background the wrong direction but I like it. That is what I get for talking and stamping at the same time. HA!  Anyways, stamped the sentiment at the bottom and added a few sequins accents and sparkle to the blooms. Voila!

Go get'em Fortunes of Fall

Wow!  I think I went a bit much on the vibrant colors for this card. This is Fortunes of Fall stamp set from Power Poppy. My card was actually meant for a different direction but I didn't like the layout after the fact so I ended up this way. Fun designer paper was my color inspiration with the focus on the orange obviously.  :-)

Colored with Copic markers and a simple scored border around the edge. A few jewels for accents and a metal swirly clip that I have had for AGES. Boy I sure to hold onto things forever or I just plain order too much. Anyways... A simple vibrant note card, voila! Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday dad

Good morning! Hopefully you had a great weekend. Besides the boys beating a team in Football that they have NEVER beaten before in the school history, I got to stamp a little bit. Win win for everyone.  :-)  Curtis and Nathan's stats from the game were AWESOME! Oh my word they are playing so good. The team is playing hard this year and it shows. Anyways, you didn't come to hear about how great they are did you? hee hee

This fun guy is from Sassy Cheryl's called All About Dad. Isn't he a hoot? After he was printed I colored him with Copic markers and die cut with a retired tag shape. Used scraps of designer paper for the background and my color choices. Die cut some balloons and my birthday sentiment. Voila! Thanks for stopping by.

Hoppy Birthday

Happy Friday! Lots going on over at Power Poppy. Check out the Power and Spark challenge this month for a chance to win. Also the Creative Confetti challenge each Tuesday might peak your interest. Not to mention our newest release Natural Wonders is a HIT!  Actually used the O Hoppy Day for my creation today.

This is rather easy peasy which was perfect for the card I needed. Stamped the hops to the right and colored with Copic markers.  used a little bit of maroon on the wheat/barley to bring in the hounds tooth designer paper in the background. The sentiments looked so nice tucked beside the hops on the sheet that I kept with that on the card front, just spaced them out a little bit. Wrapped some twine around the bottom and voila! See easy peasy.

Blue Bird happiness

Who likes snowmen? ME!!! My snowmen are just so darn cute! This is another card for the Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge for September. If you want to play along check it out HERE.

I bought this from Sassy Cheryl's and I think it was part of some she retired as I an unable to find it now on her site. He is colored with various Copic markers. I pierced around the edge of his panel and the base. Textured a piece of paper behind the image panel. A few pearls and some sparkles. Voila! cute cute!!! Thanks for stopping by today.

Thankful today and everyday

Good morning. If you missed the reveal of the new Power Poppy release digital and clear stamp sets, head on over to the PP blog and check it out! You will be feasting on some gorgeous new designs from Marcy. Today I am going to share another creation using the Fortunes of Fall stamp set just released.

The color scheme for this was the paper and ribbon on my desk from another creation that failed. However I really liked the colors so I went with it on this design. This turned out rather fresh and pretty I think. Marcy had taken a grouping of various containers and flowers and posted on IG that I thought would make a great stamp, and look she did just that! Thanks Marce.
The flowers and colored with various Copic markers and then a simple score border around the edge of the panel. Wrapped half the lavendar layer with designer paper and textured the top portion of the panel. Wrapped some ribbon around the seam and added sequins and sparkles. A different sort of tag combo for the sentiments that looked fun and tied it off with a twine and button combo. Voila!
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Keeping it coming at Power Poppy

Good morning. Yes I know that the release is over and you are all excited just as we are. However, I did not show this gorgeous new digi from the Instant Garden release yesterday so I am sharing it today. Woot woot  Let's welcome in Bountiful Bouquet which is available now with all the new clear stamp sets.

One of the cool things about this is the variety of color choices if you google the flowers. I went with a fall color pick for my card today.

Yes this is printed large and I LIKE it!  :-)  Rounded the corners of the base layers and of the image panel on the right just for the heck of it. Colored the image with a variety of Copics. Some scrap designer paper down the edge that match the fall colors. I do have Suduko gel pen over the lines on the can the flowers are in to match the silver shine on the bow center but you can't tell in the photo. The twine is from Marcy's sweetly wrapped packages she sends us again. Hey use what you got right. I REALLY like how this turned out. Thanks for stopping by and happy shopping if you were waiting a day. hee hee

Today we have Cabbage and Kale for you. I did google to find a good color source for my card today and look what I found. What a variety of colors and so pretty.

The main cabbage you see was my inspiration today. I think I needed to do the leaves a little darker green but its done now. Tried a new way of adding dimension that I saw over on SCS years ago was to cut around some of the edges on your image and pop them up with out using dimensionals. Using a very sharp razor I did just that for a few of the leaves and I think it turned out okay. Might need to practice more.

Wrapped some of the twine Marcy so loving wraps our stamps with for my image layer. A few pearl accents and then sparkle to finish it off. Voila!

My creation today using Fortunes of Fall is something I have wanted to do for awhile. Several people have done versions of these pumpkins using toilet paper rolls and I have adored them. So I created my own version today. It is super easy and I think turned out darling.

I actually found this burlap ribbon at the dollar store a few weeks back. I wrapped it around the roll a few times and made sure that it over lapped. Then rolled some chocolate paper for the stem and some swirly sprigs I guess you call them in green and orange. Now leaves are probably not on pumpkins normally but I liked the addition to this, they are from the Chrysanthemum XL stamp set. My tag uses the pumpkin stamp from the set that is on a tag. Colored with various Copics and then a button or two with the sentiment tag. Voila! A few of these will make great little gifts for friends. They are going to love them.

Now for my creation using O Hoppy Day! Oh this is a fun set for a few of our friends and family members. My card uses several of the images in the set. The hops are the main image on the right. Then I stamped and colored the mug, die cut it using a circle and nestled it right over the center of the hops.

Added some hardware and ribbon to the corner with some piercing around the edges of the card base layers. The bottle cap for the final piece and voila!

Power Poppy's Natural Wonders Release week, Day one

Welcome to Power Poppy's Natural Wonders release. We sure are excited to share with you Marcy's newest art work. Before I get to my creation be sure to check out a few things.

Now onto my creation... This new stamp is called Chrysanthemum XL. Yes.... I agree with what you are thinking, you will be getting this stamp set for sure. hee hee  Another one of Marcy's gorgeous large floral drawings fresh for autumn. I did google and found some wonderful fall colors and went with a burnt-orangish color for my bloom today. This set does come with a matching die, but I cut around the edges of this one. I tend to do that first with all my florals then go to the dies after. I think its some sort of therapy for me. HA!

A simple faux stitched border around the edge today. Stamped the sentiment on the inside and die cut with an oval on the designer paper layer. As I look at this now I should of layered up the leaves on the stem a little bit better. Will have to do that later as I don't have time to take a new picture. Added a few tiny buttons to the corner and voila!

Sending a smile

Happy Friday! For most of us school started for the kiddos this week or last. With the boys doing running start along with their regular school its is very interesting to say the least. They are excited though and that is great. Football season has begun and we are off running. SQUEEL!!!  Excited for the season for sure!

Now for my creation today... Miss Katie is our hostess this month and her challenge is Hit The Books. Play along and you have a chance at winning some Power Poppy Bucks! Check out the PP Blog for details and linking your creations.

Grabbed Under Glass for my card. Stamped the image with the glass over the top and colored with various Copic markers. My base layers have a pierced border around the edge to match the image panel. Rounded the corners on the base for fun. Wrapped some sheer ribbon around the two base layers and added some enamel dots with sparkle on the butterfly. Voila!
