Welcome to Power Poppy's Natural Wonders release. We sure are excited to share with you Marcy's newest art work. Before I get to my creation be sure to check out a few things.
  • Marcy has inspiration and info about the newest design over on the Power Poppy Blog. Be sure to check it out.
  • Have you played in our new Creative Confetti inspirations on Tuesday's? You NEED to check it out each week and play along. You have a chance at winning a $25 gift card to PP just for creating and linking for a chance to win. How fun!
  • Another change at winning Power Poppy bucks you say? Why yes... Check out this months Power and Spark challenge Hitting the books brought to you by miss Katie. This challenge has a chance to win $50 in PP bucks. Now why wouldn't you play along?  :-)

Now onto my creation... This new stamp is called Chrysanthemum XL. Yes.... I agree with what you are thinking, you will be getting this stamp set for sure. hee hee  Another one of Marcy's gorgeous large floral drawings fresh for autumn. I did google and found some wonderful fall colors and went with a burnt-orangish color for my bloom today. This set does come with a matching die, but I cut around the edges of this one. I tend to do that first with all my florals then go to the dies after. I think its some sort of therapy for me. HA!

A simple faux stitched border around the edge today. Stamped the sentiment on the inside and die cut with an oval on the designer paper layer. As I look at this now I should of layered up the leaves on the stem a little bit better. Will have to do that later as I don't have time to take a new picture. Added a few tiny buttons to the corner and voila!

How you've made your Fuji mum pop off the page is magical, and the detail of buttons, and the two petals at the bottom are marvelous.

Ohhhh, one of my favorite Chrysanthemum colors! Gorgeous job on the coloring. So much depth in those petals, and I absolutely love the fallen petals as an accent. Cute with the buttons, too. You do the best fussy cutting!

Very pretty layout on the card with the petals reaching over like that. Love the colour choice, perfect for fall.

I guess I do the reverse - I die cut and
then trim the white off the edges.
Phobia of mine to not have lots of
uncolored edges. The flower is
gorgeous. thanks for sharing

Beautifully done with wonderful faux-stitching that sure looks real! This is definitely a "must-have" set for me! Thanks, sweet friend! Hugs and love! xoxo
