Totally Stampalicious is having a SALE. Check out the store for the details and code.

I love House Mouse stamps as most of you know. Time gets away from me when I have design team work, the family, school, puppy etc. I don't pull them out as much as I used to, but when I do I get house mouse fever and end up stamping and coloring a lot. You will see more of them in the next few weeks, ofcourse I am using some of my Christmas ones right now. I have added some sparkle to the tree yet you can't tell much in the photo. I started out trying to do the Sweet Sketch Wednesday last week, but I forgot a panel. I like how this turned out though. Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping in to see me.

Twas the night before Christmas....

And all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. Well these mice sure are not stirring. hee hee School was cancelled today and it is cold as all get out so whatelse is there to do but stamp. hee hee I got a few things done today including a gift that I needed and another House Mouse Christmas card. This is for the DD challenge this month, this is a well read and worn book in our house. I don't want to order a new one this has such *character* with the worn edges from the kids when they were little, the color marks on the inside and just the over all used look it has. It makes me smile every December when we pull it out. :0) Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Snowy cottage

Doesn't this look like a cozy place you want to be this winter? I got a big box of stamps from one of the mom's at the boys school this week full of new goodies. She had this fabulous cottage stamp in there I think its from PSX correct me if I am wrong I am guessing since the label is wore off. It just looks so cozy and cold all in one. lol I added lots of sparkle to the snow and this fabulous ribbon that I keep forgetting to use on stuff. I just love it! We got a lot of snow and it sure is cold here. The kdis are excited to be off school for a few days. I hope you have a wonderful and family filled Thanksgiving tomorrow!
Several Black Friday Sales that I will be listing on Friday so be sure to check back!

We got snow....

We got a lot of snow today and its still snowing, the kids had a 2 hour delay even. Ranger got to play in snow for the first time since he was born. He LOVES it. Oh my goodness does he ever. You should see him playing around in it. ha ha I finally got him to sit down and let me take a photo. He likes to dig his nose in the snow and sniff. Ofcourse he then comes up sneezing from the snow in his nose. LOL I got lots of video of him running around and rolling in it. So fun. Off to play some more. Have a great day.

Hot beverage...hot beverage...

Over on Totally Stampalicious blog today its all about warm up with a hot chuppa. I used the new Attitude Ruby and her hot chocolate she is holding. This green dotted paper from Cosmo Cricket kept falling out of the folder so I just decided I better use it. The sentiments in this set are so fun and can be used a lot for any girlfriend cards. I added a few sprigs with a button top and done. Very simple but cute in the end. Thanks for stopping by!

Santa's book

If you have small children please avert their eyes from this post. hee hee I made this box that looks like a book to hold all of the *dear Santa* letters the twins have written over the years with there wish lists. Each year DH and I will pull them out of the hidden envelope and re-read what they have asked for since they were about 2. That was the first year they actually wrote a letter to Santa. Soemthings never change on there lists from year to year such as lego's and Gi Joes. ha ha Now they know the true meaning of Christmas, however Santa is something fun that we also enjoy each Christmas. This fits the theme for the DD this month of Well Read. I have used a 5x7 clear box for the insert to hold the letters. I will post another picture of that also. I used Christmas Borders and made a book center to show Santas list... we included Ranger our new puppy this year. :0)
Thanks for stopping by!

IC258 Soothing Garland

The inspiration challenge IC258 this week was interesting, I finally found this Garland Rug that had a cool print and soothing colors. This set of cards with a matching drawer is for the school auction. I thought this pattern paper matched the rug print pretty good actually. I used several scripture sets from Clear Dollar Stamps and then added the Beautiful Butterfly to the outside of the box.
Here is what all the cards look like in the drawer. I just know that this is going to be a wonderful gift someone bids on. They request that I make a few sets each year. hee hee Isn't that nice of them. :0)
Be sure to check back Thursday 18th at 9pm EST for Totally Stampalicious Blog Hop and New release! Thanks for stopping in today. Hope your day is great!

Snowman heaven...

See I told you it was a good idea to come back today! The release party was a lot of fun, I sure hope you had a chance to make it. Your chance to win this set is over on Flourishes Blog. You still have a chance at winning the sets you have seen the last 3 days by playing in our Warm Winter Wishes challenge HERE.
The last of the sneaks is using the set called Warm Winter Wishes. Now this snowman just make me giggle when I saw him. Just adorable isn't she? I said she since I made two pink tissue holders using the tutorial on SCS HERE. I have two friends that love snowmen just as much as me so these are their gifts this year.

I just had to make another hot chocolate mitten for you. I love these things and this was my 20th one I made I think. I added a bunch of sparkles to the bottom of the mitten and the snowman. I hand drew this template and I have to say its perfect. They fit the Nestle hot chocolate packages.

The girls have some beautiful and fun samples for you to see also. Be sure to check them out:
On a personal note they accepted our offer on the house we want, all based on this house selling. We have yet another open house this weekend. I just can't wait till we move and I will be settled instead of this craziness the last few weeks. Thanks for the prayers, I really do appreciate them! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Vintage Sneak Peek

Oh what a winter playground, I just want to jump into the card. This is called Vintage Postcard. I really wanted to do a blue and white color theme once I had this set in my hot little hands. I have added a lot of sparkle to all the snow but I couldn't get it to photo for nothing! Sometimes I wish I had a professional photographer in my closet and pulled him out when I needed him. ha ha I added some pearls and blue satin ribbon with a swiss dots background.

Flourishes Sneak Peeks begin....

Today Flourishes is showing sneak peeks of the set called Paperwhites. This is a beautiful floral set. I did some research on these flowers to find out where they come from and they originated from Asia and Southern Europe. This site here has some fabulous info on all flowers and plants. I ended up getting lost in all the stuff I found. lol I made this for the Dirty Dozen theme challenge this month Around the Compass.
I did not leave my flowers white as you can see. I actually wanted to do a red and white theme the minute I saw this set. It also gave me a chance to use some of the red and white twine that Nancy sent me a few weeks ago. Thanks Nancy. I used a few jewels and tied off the twine with a button.

Here are some reminders: You have a chance at winning this set today over on Flourishes Blog. Our Power Hour Release Party is Thursday Night 11th at 9pm Central in the SCS Forums. Your chance to win the entire release is by playing in our Warm Winter Wishes challenge HERE.

Flourishes Angelic Sneak Peek

Happy Monday! This beautiful Angel is from Flourishes and is called Allelulia Angel. I love this angel from the original set and have dressed her up with a rich and warm feeling. I used the BG Mistletoe paper with the deep burgundy paper and classic white. I sponged the sentiment on the tag before I took the spellbinders tag off. Then I added some pearls for glam. She has a touch of sparkle on her wings also. The girls have some fabulous creations for you to see also:

Flourishes November Pre-Challenge

It is that time again for Flourishes pre-challenge. This is your chance to win the ENTIRE new release coming out next week. Check out the newsletter for all the details! Now aren't these shades of blue and almost a little bit of grey just beautiful?

I pulled out the Santa, I believe set for this card. I actually used some of my chalks that I have not used in ages to color this. I shaded all over with the blue chalk after I stamped it in brocade blue. Then I added some sparkle but its hard to see in the photo. The holly is colored with chalks also, they really stand out even with the chalks. Added some white crochet ribbon with some blue silk ribbon for a bow. I really like how this turned out.

I sure hope you play along with us. Be sure to check out the beautiful creations from the DT:

Hot Chocolate Mitten

Is that snowman just not the cutest? Yep you have seen him here before this is Snow Tweet. I have enjoyed him the last few months if you didn't notice. LOL I made this little mitten hot chocolate holder for the bizarre. I made several of these actually they fit the nestle hot chocolate flavors raspeberry, white chocolate and milk chocolates perfect. I hand drew the mitten onto paper and then traced it onto cardstock. I am sure there is a pattern out there somewhere but I was too lazy to find it. :0) I pierced the edges after I glued the two mittens together and then did some faux stitching along the border. A few buttons and some cherry go round ribbon to tie it off. I just love these mittens!
This Friday is Flourishes Pre-Challenge for the Nov. Release. Make sure you check back in for all the details! Have a great day.

Christmas Spirit Challenge #7

Can you believe it is Nov. 1st already. I hope you have been making your Christmas cards early! I have done really good this year, I have a handful left to make. Yea! Today is the new Christmas Spirit challenge for Flourishes. This month it is *Tag your it*. I hope you get a chance to play along with us this month.
I bought these little red bags in pkg of 5 for a $1. I decorated it up with some Basic Grey Mistle Toe paper and added a little ornament tag. I don't have a ornament shape so I free hand drew one onto paper and traced it on the cs. I love this cardinal from Christmas Classics and thought it went perfect with the dp. The top of the ornament I used some silver cord to look like the top of the ornament. Added some sparkle and the tag is done.

I sure hope you get to play along with us. You can find the challenge HERE and see who won last months challenge.
