Romans 6:23 says

I know what you are going to say... yes another blue and white card. Yep! I can't help it as the colors are a favorite of mine. Lots of goodies on this creation using the newly released The Cross from ODBD. I stamped the sentiment then added the beautiful Flourish Label border with the tiny hearts around the sentiment. Die cut the frame with the matching dies Vintage Flourish Pattern.
Layered onto the larger intricate gorgeous Vintage Flourish Pattern die with some of the beautiful Christian Faith paper collection below. Isn't this beautiful though? I love how clean and simple it is yet still lots of detail and beautiful. Hope your day is going great!

Cross Bookmark

Supplies

Card stock, Ornamental Crosses Die, ribbon, scissors, metal slider and adhesive.

Step 1

Die cut lattice cross and solid smaller cross, keep in mind the layers of colors you want. Trace around the largest die (lattice Cross) and cut two cross shapes as shown.

Step 2

Adhere lattice cross to the front of one cross that you traced and cut out. Turn cross over to work with the back

Step 3

Adhere ribbon to the back. leave enough ribbon to create a large loop

Step 4

Add your ribbon slider to the half way point in the ribbon. Add adhesive to the back of the cross

Step 5

Keep the ribbon slider at the top and adhere ribbon to cross base. Take second traced cross and cover the back to hide ribbon and turn back over.

Step 6

Add your smaller cross to the center and decorate as desired. I have added a flower to the center and pearls to the corners. Enjoy!

ODBD April Blog Hop

Happy April 1st and I have no jokes for you today. :-)  However what I do have is a beautiful new release for you from Our Daily Bread designs. That's right the new stamps, papers and dies are all available and you will have a cart full before you know it. You can check out all the details on the ODBD Blog too.

My first creation is using several of the new goodies from the stamp set called The Cross that I stamped onto white card stock. My beautiful border around the scripture is using our new Vintage Flourish clear stamp set, see those tiny hearts? Be still my heart!  For the final touch it is die cut using the matching new Vintage Flourish Pattern die. The designer paper is from the new paper collection as well called The Cross collection. You guessed it right some of the rolled flowers from Pat are added with our Fancy Foliage die for the blue flourish sticking out of the blooms.

My second creation is a bookmark created using the new Ornamental Crosses die. To say I like each of these crosses in the set is an understatement. I created a beautiful Cross Bookmark for you using the dies. If you want to create your own bookmark when you purchase the die, here is my Cross Bookmark Tutorial for you. I like the summer and happy feel that this bookmark creates. My center flower is again from my sweet friend Pat. Added a few pearls and voila!

Hip Hip Hooray!! Today is release day of the ever so talented Marcella Hawley's new store PowerPoppy! We have been sharing sneak peeks and the inside story on how Marcy creates these last few days and now you can get your hot little hands on the stamps yourselves! YIPPEE!!!

You knew I had to use the Azaela stamp set for my creation today, it just says COLOR ME! ha ha I wanted to really show off the flower so I kept my creation simple. Who am I kidding? I am a minimalist at heart when it comes to creating. Anyhow.... I have the beautiful flowers colored with Copics and matted onto some summery checkered card stock. Then I thought a fun little lattice edge would be a wonderful accent and some celery seam binding ribbon tied into a bow. Voila!
