So onto our birthday creations! I made Mom and Daughters birthday dresses and drinks for the evening. Mother will be drinking a fine wine that has a hint of lavendar, while daughter will be drinking her fresh strawberry milk. I tried to make her milk look like the front of the carton if you were holding it verses the side view. I love how these turned out. Hope you join us in celebrating!

It is day two of sneak peeks for Clear Dollar Stamps August Releases. Important deets:

This set is called Sails, subs and tugs. Totally love this set and its perfect for any age. I made two cards similar but one for boy or girl. I cut out the little cherries and skulls from the dp that I used.

































This set is called Nice Neighborhood. My SIL just moved into her very first home that she has had built for her and she is pretty excited. I made her an emergency kit for the first week of move in you can see below. I then made her some cards that she can mail out to tell everyone her new address.I cut out the little trucks and popped them up on the bag. The cards are 4 different styles but all the same paper and colors.

This next set is called Under the Sea. I had this whole idea planned for this one and it just went a little haywire on me. haha But these sea critters are great aren't they. The seahorses are my favorite.































Here is some fun kid cards that the boys love. This set is called Bitty Bots and oh so much fun. You have so many ways to go with this set. I went with some vibrant colors on
these two. I have a few more ideas with this set and oh can't wait to show those to you also.

MMM Bunny Sketch

Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend. I got to stamp for 3 days and play along with the Dirty Dozen girls over on SCS. If you are a fan club member you can play along with the best of the best. Talk about a talented group of ladies... And I am friends with some of them ACK... :0) I had a blast and the challenges were awesome...
This week is full of FUN! I have a post EVERYDAY can you believe it. Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peeks begin tomorrow Tuesday -Friday with sneaks of the August new releases. Also on Friday I will have a post later in the day for Flourishes. They have something to celebrate with you! So be sure to check back here and the newsletter. This is for House Mouse and Friends Blog challenge and its a SKETCH..... A fun sketch at that. I played on the sketch with the white on white panel and colored the center part of the image. Its your day

Isn't this ice cream just perfect for the weather right now. Its a 102 here again today and the rest of the week it will be pretty close to the same. eek...
I used the set Sweet Scoops from Clear Dollar Stamps. I cut out the ice cream cones and have them layered up on dimensionals. I could go for some ice cream right about now. :0) This is a 4x4 size card.
This week and next week are crazy with posts of things to come. First tomorrow is something sparkly and fun coming from Flourishes. Next week is House Mouse and friends as normal, Sneak Peeks from Clear Dollar Stamps August new releases, and something really exciting from Flourishes! So be sure to keep checking back!

MMM White on White

Today's House Mouse and Friends blog challenge is white on white. So the only color should be your image. The rest is all white. Your embelishments, paper etc... all white. Very opposite of last week. I loved this challenge, and I love how this turned out. I pulled out one of my first HM stamps I ever got. Just makes me smile. I also used my copics again on this little guy, still trying to get my eyes used to the not solid brown like I like. But I AM getting used to it. hee hee

Simple More is More cards

Here is two cards that are very simple. I used the set from Flourishes called Beach Life.
I made one with a little more goodies than the other. Both are very simple and great to have on hand. I sponged some clouds on the left card, popped up the hammock, and added a brad. The right has some sponged shading for the blue sky but no clouds.

We've been invaded

The boys and I had some fun and made some Shadow boxed cards. You will see a group photo below with the ones the boys made. They had specific ideas they wanted with theirs.
This is a new set released this month from Clear Dollar Stamps called Lost in Space. I have made a few girl cards with this set so I figured I better work on some boy ones. lol You can find this technique over on SCS here. These fold down flat so you can mail them, but when they get the card they fold out the sides and have a cool card. How fun is that!
Here is our group photo. The card on the left DS insisted that his stars be grouped together and have the ship inside. The one on the left his brother wanted a shooting star on his (bottom right corner hard to see) so he got his white crayon and drew that and a moon in. Creative kids...

MMM Black and white film

This weeks House Mouse and friends blog challenge is brought to use by America. She challenges us to no coloring. Yep that's right leave those adorable little mice UNCOLORED. You can use color anywhere else you choose the brads, papers, ribbons etc. but you can't color the image.
Well the only thing that coming to mind when she said no coloring was those first films, TV's and actual film were all black and white. So I went with that and used the photo as one you would see on the film strip. Turned out fun. Hope you can play along with us! Have a blessed day!

Now this is a fun card. This set is called Beach life. I made a few of these with different themes. I wear flip flops all summer or I am bare feet. I usually don't wear shoes unless its snowy and the minute I get in the door I kick whatever is on my feet off. haha I like how this turned out. It fits in a legal size envie because its a size 3 kid shoe. I used one of the boys flip flops and traced it onto paper because mine was too big. :0) I sponged some clouds ( still working on those clouds yes) and added a few primas with jewel center. Easy Peasy... Check out the girls creations!

Sand and Sea Day Two

Did you like day one of Flourishes Sneek peaks? Well today is day two and we have for you Seaside Life. This is a beautiful seashell set. I used the smaller ones for you with one of the sentiments in this set. I added a few pearls and went with this wonderful basic grey dp for the color choices.

Strawberries... Sneaks Day One

Isn't this just yummy! I have had fun with this set. I added some layers with my spellbinders and some piercing at the bottom with the piercibilities. I also used my new Copics collection from Flourishes called Poppy and Fields. I stamped them on the Classic White paper that goes perfectly with these copics.

Hats from Space

This is my second post for today. My House Mouse card is below this post. Can you believe this is actually a space ship turned hat? The first time I saw the Lost in Space set from Clear Dollar Stamps I saw a hat with the space ship. How funny is that. hee hee I cut the tip off the top and the bottom part of the ship, paper pieced it onto some scrap dp and added some flowers. I love how this turned out so girly. :0)

Happy Monday! Hope you had a safe and happy 4th of July weekend. Today's House Mouse and Friends blog challenge is all about Seasons. Any season you want to do. Be sure to check out the other girls cards and the challenge details over on the blog.
I choose a wintry one since this is one of the new House Mouse the boys got me for Mothers Day. I also am coloring my mice with Copics for the first time. Now I am really really picky with my House Mouse stamps and how I color the mice. I have always loved them the solid brown but different shades, know what I mean. Anyways... I am taking a chance and trying them a little different for a few cards and see if I like them. Let me know what you think.

Daffodils and Lemons

So I bet your wondering where is the daffodil. LOL Well I used the Daffodil Copic collection from Flourishes to color these lemons. See the collections below.
I used the Life love and lemons, added a little scoring and all done. Very simple, but I do like how my coloring turned out. You can see closer by clicking on the picture. But remember I am new at this, so be gentle in your comments. hee hee
