Beauty Within and sets available now...

What do you get when you mix the beauty of stained glass images with the fabulous shapes of Spellbinders Nestabilities? A fabulous new set from Flourishes called Beauty Within. This stamp set was designed to take the guess work out of cutting and trimming an elegant shape. With the help of Labels 11 and Labels 13, you can color to your heart’s content and then trim your image perfectly with these beautiful dies. This set, designed by artist Becky Fleck, is hot off the presses and in the Flourishes store now! Would you like to win this set? Simply leave a comment here (www.flourishes.org/blog) and you’ll be in the running! Winners will be announced Saturday at 12 PM CST on the Flourishes Blog.
For my first card I used the shades of purples and papers from the basic grey Euphoria set. I added some silk lavendar ribbon with a button and twine bow. I really like how the spellbinders label 13 lets you leave the white border if you choose not to trim it down.

On this card I didn't use the die, I cut it out and then layered it on more paper and cut i tout. So if you don't have these spellbinders YET you have a chance at still using the sets. How cool is that.... I grabbed a heart ribbon slider from the silver finishing touches collection. Very subtle background on this one with some memory box paper from a pack I can't even remember now. ACK... Sorry about that.

Gosh, if I had to decide which one I liked better, it'd be tough! The layout on the first card is just lovely, and I love the little ribbon slide you added on the second -- just the perfect touches Stac!

Oh, Stacy! I don't recall seeing your purple card before. What a beauty! Love how you colored it. The Euphoria is so pretty with the iris image. And I've always had a soft spot for yellow roses. That card is just as sweet as can be!
