Masculine retreat

First I have to tell you that I am DONE painting. Oh my word... that was the hardest darn thing to do and I am just so thankful that 2 weeks later I am officially done and vowed to never paint again. LOL The house looks awesome but still have my doubts I will ever paint again. :0)
On to my card.... It is time for Flourishes Pre-Challenge. As we get ready to honor the men who are fathers in our lives, we thought we'd challenge you to think outside the box when it comes to creating a "man card!" Now I bet you are thinking where is the out of the box on this card. See those pearls there on the side, that is my out of the box. Hey I was knee deep in paint so pearls was the only thing I could come up with at the moment. My brain was fried. lol I used the sketch 48 from Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I like how this turned out and I have one Father's day card down. I pulled out my Beach Life with some of my new memory box paper spearmint. Chocolate pearls and a little bit of piercing, very simple! Hope you get to play along with us. Be sure to check out the blog for all the details. And don't miss what the girls created for you:
Christine
Cindy
Julie
Laura
Leslie
Dawn
Have a great weekend.

Hi Stacy! I'm glad your house looks good after the painting! I do all the painting myself and I know it's a ton of work!! Hope you get some rest now and enjoy it! I so need to paint my living room but I just keep putting it off. My husband hates to paint so it's all up to me. Your card is terrific! I love the image for a masculine card.

Wow stacy, awesome guy card wouldn't mind being in that hammock myself. I've also sworn off painting for life, my neck, shoulders and arms are too precious to be getting sore painting. Lol!! Thanks for playing at ssw!

Hmmmm, what man wouldn't enjoy getting this!? Even with those pearls! I'm sure they wouldn't notice the pearls though, just the nice comfy hammock and palm tree setting. Lovely, clean and crisp!
(oh my goodness, my word verification this time was "colon", that was weird!)
