A Gift for you

If you’ve been searching for a perfect set that could give class and elegance to your Christmas gift packaging, search no more! Today, Flourishes is sneak peaking a brand new set called, A Gift for You, and some of the Spellbinders’ team is joining them in the fun! This set was designed not only to coordinate with some of Flourishes best-selling Christmas stamp sets but with more than a handful of Spellbinders Template Dies! A Gift For You - drawn by the ever-so-talented Marcella Hawley - offers 8 different tag styles and 8 different mini sentiments to fit inside! To make sure your tags come out with a regal style and design, this set coordinates with Spellbinders Labels 14, Labels 15, Labels 16, as well as others. More details at the end of this post.

I made a cute new hot chocolate pkg. What I did was take a clear 2x3 box and cut it in half (so I could make 2 pkgs) then I cute out the pink cardstock using Nestabilities Labels die 14 and adhered it to the front and the back of the box only taping the box portion. I cut out the smaller die and created the tag with the A Gift For You set and stamped the sentiment. Before I put this on the box, I ran the white satin and pink ruffled ribbons around the box to sorta hide the tops of the clear box. Now I did trim off the top edge of the box a little bit, but the ribbon does cover it pretty good. Then I popped the panel up on dimensionals and voila. A different hot chocolate pkg than you see a lot of. :0) I made several of these in variety of colors the blue and cream ones look great also.
Next I thought I would do a more *masculine* style Christmas card for a certain friend of ours. I made a little suit jacket card. I stamped out the sentiment for the hankerchief in a little pocket and then added the little ribbon and pine cone image for the tie. Just something fun and a little different for a single guy Christmas card.
