Columbine Friday

Happy Friday! Hopefully you are ready for the weekend and have some relaxing planned. Not so much at our house but that is totally fine. Did have sometime to get a creation done with the newest Instant Garden digi called Cup of Columbine. What a beautiful array of flowers and so different in colors, I went ahead and google them. I choose to work with purple and a darker red for today's card. Marcy has notes and inspiration on the Power Poppy Blog for you to check out as well.

This is rather easy peasy since time has been limited, but what is knew? ha ha!  I have colored these beautiful blooms with various Copic markers and then rounded the corners of the image panel. Added a heart die cut to the base and some scrap designer paper that matches the colors of the blooms. A few sequins added and some sparkle to the red blooms. Voila!

Hi Stacy!
I love your work and love how beautifully this card turned out! The colors came together beautifully and I like how you are able to take small images and make sure they are the focus of the card. Thanks for sharing.

Stacy, this is so pretty! Love your colour combination on the columbines. Yes I googled too, and there are so many colour combos of this flower. I started colouring mine a short while ago. Great layout, and of course I love your finishing touches using the sequins and the heart border.

I marched right over there and bought this digi. Love, love it! It has to get in line with other new things... I even still have some PP digis I haven't colored yet. Oh, well, at least it appears I'll never run out of new things to color! You've done such a beautiful job on this. Who could not be inspired? Easy peasy, you say? That's because you're so good!
