Christmas is coming...

Happy Friday! I know what you thinking... Christmas card? Well this is for the September Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge. AND Christmas is just a few short months away ya know.  :-)  hee hee I am posting a little early since we will be busy this weekend. Hopefully you can play along this month. Check it out HERE.
Flowering Santa is always such a joy to color and I was in a warm chocolate mood so the papers helped me determine my colors.

This was a no fuss card with just a little bit of sparkle after he was colored. Some chocolate ribbon wrapped around the base layer of designer papers and a few sequins. Voila!

Cheer someone up

Morning! This sentiment just makes me happy. Talk about thinking of someone else this was perfect. Grabbed Prairie Cheer for my card today. The flower is stamped and then stamped again so that I could cut around it and pop it up on dimensionals.

Scrap designer paper was my color inspiration and I do like blue.  :-) A few sequins accents and then some sparkle to finish it off. Voila!

Power Poppy has a new release coming up so be on the look out for the ever so talented Marcy's new work. It will surely make you swoon!!!

Awesomeness level

Good morning. I thought it was time to step into the stamp room and create this morning. It was going to be rather hard since Ranger was always my stamping buddy laying under the desk while I created. However I did fairly well and I did think about him. This week I did a lot of deep cleaning and kept myself busy with happy thoughts and knowing how much I loved him.
The healing has begun as they say and we are all doing okay. Thank you for the sweet words of encouragement and for those that sent cards, THANK YOU! Very very sweet.

Now for what I created this morning...

Pulled out a sunflower from HeartFelt Creations that I think is retired called Sunflower Bouquet. After I colored the sunflower I delicately cut around the image so that I could pop it up on dimensionals. The good grain designer paper was the perfect background I wanted with some yellow and gray papers. Added piercing around the border and my little side panel. The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set and then finished it off with a few enamel dots in gray and some sparkle. Voila!
Hoping you have a wonderful day today. :-)

8 Fabulous years

Morning. Yesterday our beloved Ranger suddenly passed away. :-(  Words can't even express how sad we are, butI think mostly shocked since we weren't expecting it. That is the part I can't even express is the shock. Life sucks sometimes!
Ranger is the BEST dog you could ever have. He was my fur baby from the get go on my birthday 8 years ago. He was like a third child in our home and always with the family. Not a person would meet him and not fall in love with him. Always so gentle and friendly, unless you are the UPS man then he barks to tell you just leave it at the door. ha ha!  A beautiful dog, great companion, and such a part of my heart. I am gonna miss you puppers. R.I.P.
We were all looking through pictures and videos on our phones and camera so I thought I would share a few while I try to remember he was so loved and loved us so much.

Big Bloom today

Good morning. How about another one for the Dare To Get Dirty this week over on SCS?  This is for Toni's challenge today as I couldn't help myself on her challenge. :-)

My flower is from Abundant Petals that is colored with Copic markers and then die cut with the matching dies. The base is a Spellbinders die cut with the center piece popped up on dimensionals as well as the flowers. A few sequins and sparkles all over the outer layers and the bloom. Voila!
Hope you can play along in the DTGD this week.

Deep soothing breath

Welcome to the 2018 Dare To Get Dirty Challenges. What fun these are. Not sure what we are talking about? Check out the FAN CLUB page and join the club. Special challenges and fun awaits you! :-) This year I am able to host a challenge again and I am super excited as this is always a fun week at SCS. Check out my challenge HERE for details and linking your creation.

Some of you might need to be a little more generic with their creation for the challenge such as I have done here. And that is PERFECT all the same. I want everyone to play along. This is Take a Deep Breath that is just awesome. We actually saw some of these flowers and leaves up in Canada recently when we were on vacation, very cool! I have this printed on kraft cardstock and colored with various Prisma colored pencils. Some scrap designer paper for the base that is embossed with a dots folder. Some piercing along the bottom edges and a button and twine combo for the corner. Sparkles added to the water and voila! Hope you can play along with us today!

Birthday Lily

Happy Monday! How about a little more of the Dare To Get Dirty challenges? This one is for Kittie's challenge. This gorgeous blossom is Tiger Lily XL that I have colored with Copic markers. After I colored this I wanted to pop up the petals so I hand cut around each one and between. Then I rolled the edges and used dimensionals to pop it off the base.

A strip of designer paper over the base layer and some sequins to finish it off. Voila! Hope you have time to play around in the stamp room today.

A few circle die cuts and my sentiment from Party Time to the center. A few die cut leaves and a button with twine center to finish it off. Voila! Hope you can play along with us this year!

Juggling act

Footloose and Fancy tree is what these guys are called. They are a juggling act which is about what I feel right now. Haven't had much time since we got back from our vacation to do much of anything in the stamp room until today. Finally got my card for the August Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge complete. Very simple since I am really trying to get into the swing of things.

Speaking of Dirty Dozen the Dare To Get Dirty Challenges start this weekend. Are you up for it? Check out the SCS Fan page here and keep an eye out. I am hosting a challenge and hope you play along. Now for my Christmas card. These guys are simply colored with Copic markers. I did a basic piercing around the designer paper edge and added some sequins and sparkles. Easy peasy! Thanks for stopping by.
