Rose one and two for today

My English Rose still has to be a favorite rose, which is retired. However Marcy has several other digital rose versions and a FREE one if you would like a rose to pick from. There is a reason I keep a lot of stamps and don't go for the digital version. I just like to stamp this out and color. Call me old fashion stamper. ha ha!  Anyways, this first one is using the designer paper for the color choice of purple. The base layer purple is a shimmery pack that I have hardly used so it was meant to be.

A few Spellbinder decorative die cut edges for the main panel with some sparkles. Then wrapped lace trim and a tied ribbon bow.

This might be my Valentine card this year we will see. I like the simplicity of this and the rose just shines stamped off the panel. A few layers of paper and designer paper. Then sequins scatter about with the sentiment stamp on the side. I did take a Suduko gel pen and trace all around the petals which you can kinda see at the top. Looks really cool in person. Voila!

Sweet Avery

Morning. I used the designer paper from the other day when I was colored flowers for this card. It seems to go very well with little Avery May Flowers digi that I haven't used forever. She is just darling don't you think?

She is colored with various Copic markers and then added to a scallop edge panel. Embossed a stitched edge for the designer paper and added my image panel. A button and twine combo for the sentiment tag and then some sparkles to her socks and dress. Voila!

Lilac's and relax

Morning! Busy week however I am working in creations when I can. This is using Lilac Time which is retired but a digi version called Lilac and Lemons you can still purchase. Pulled colors from the designer paper with the hues of purple and yellow for my lilacs. Works well since there is lemons in the stamp too.  ;-)

Wrapped lace trim and some ribbon around the base layers. My image panel onto a Spellbinders die cut bottom and popped up on dimensionals. Tied a bow and then some enamel dots and sparkles to finish it off. Voila!

Flowers for January

How about some flowers instead of winter or Christmas cards? This first one is using Simply Camellia's stamp but you can get a digital version also called Camellia's. They are stamped on white cardstock and colored with various Copic markers. Used some the woodgrain paper pack I got back in November for the base layer. Pierced around the edge to match the Spellbinders die cut edge I added to the base of the image panel. A few scraps of paper with fish tale ends for the sentiment circle. And then a flower button and twine to tie it all together. Oh and yes there is Suduko gel pen on the flowers but its hard to see in the photo.

Sorry this is another retired stamp but the digi version is called Tulips in Hobnail Pitcher. The designer paper was the color choice on this one with the soft pink and hints of yellow. Scored around the edge of the image panel after I colored the flowers. Popped it up on dimensionals, scattered some pearls and hints of sparkle to finish it off. Voila!

Thanks for stopping by!

Two for one designer paper

I bought some new designer paper packs this last November. I love papers and try to use them but never seem to figure out how to get them to showcase the designs without covering them up. I bought them because they were so pretty. My mission with these two cards was to show the paper and add some stamping at the same time.

The first card I used Poinsettia that is colored with Copic markers. Then I cut around the edges and popped it up with dimensionals. Some snowflake textures to the base layer and added some of the designer paper to the bottom. Wrapped silver cord and a button then added sparkles.

This is the larger part of the designer paper that I just love, but how do you cover that up? You can't. haha  So I decided to show case it and just added a few small touches. So I wrapped some twine around and a button like I did the first card. My sentiment to the bottom left and some sparkles to the actual design.

Now that I look at it should of added some texture to the white space top and bottom, next time. Voila! I do like how this turned out and yes my plan is to do similar with the others. hee hee  Have a wonderful day!

Two simple thank you's

Two thank you cards that I created last weekend. Kept the same layout for each and made a few small changes. This first one is using Wreaths Plain and Fancy one of my favorite sets still. Colored with various Copic markers and then added sentiment to the panel. Swiss dots texture behind the main panel and sparkle to finish.

The second one is using Poinsettia. I love the blue flower color, it makes the red berries really pop. Same layout with a different thank you and sparkles to finish this one off. Voila!

I might come back to this design its simple and rather quick to put together. Have a wonderful day!

New Year Chickadee

Happy New Year! I can say that I will have at least one post for 2022 and this is it. Ha ha  Kidding I really hope that I have more than I have recently. Actually was able to stamp this weekend this is one of them using Tweet Tidings but you can get the digi version if you don't have the stamp set called Chickadee in Barberry.

Very simple design trying to get back into the swing of creating. Colored with various Copic markers and then a little texture to the panel piece. The designer paper is scored around the edge. A few brads from the jar and some sparkle to finish it off. Voila! Hope 2022 is off to a great start for you as well!
