Let It Snow

Now how stinkin cute is he? Love this stamp called Snow Is Over Rated. Now when you are in your house all nice and cozy what do you see outside in December? That's right snowmen and snow. This fits the Dirty Dozen Challenge this month with Window in/out at Christmas. My snowman is stamped on Classic White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Colored with various Copic markers. I used vellum to create some snow drifts and added stickles to the top for sparkle. My sentiment is from Sentimental Christmas that is stamped directly on the vellum. Some sparklers for the sides and voila!  Adorable and yet another Christmas card done. Whohoo!!! Have a fabulous day.

Birthday Camping

November brings crisp, cool days that might find you heading into your favorite coffee shop to grab a cup of warmth, and dwell in that inviting aroma that only a cozy cafe can bring.
Image

This month we’re inviting you to “Grab A Cup” with us on the Flourishes Senior Design Team and be inspired by this fantastic photo as you create something equally warm and inviting. I grabbed our In Nature stamp set since I liked the warm colors of the blue and caramel together in the photo. For some camping is warm and inviting, me however only if we have smores and a hot fire each night. :-)  My image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Classic White card stock.
Colored with Copic Collections:

Simple design with some scrap designer paper in my bin that is layered on our Color Made Easy True Blue and Rich Browns card stock. The designer frame is using Perfectly Pierced Classic Frames in our Rich Brown card stock. My sentiment is from Sweet Violets tied off some jute twine and a blue button to finish if off. Voila!

That's right on Nov. 11th some of the images will be available in Digi format for all you digi lovers out there! Whohoo!!!  I have stamped these adorable guys in Archival Black ink onto classic white card stock. Colored with Copic markers and then die cut using Spellbinders standard ovals that is layered onto the Decorative Ovals shape.  My paper is using the beautiful rich Claret card stock along with our new added Kraft card stock and some Christmas paper from Teresa Collins Santa's List. This sketch is currently this weeks Sketch Challenge over on the WOJ blog, hope you can play along! I die cut some of the Snowflakes Trio Die-Light and added some jewels centers and to the corners. Autumn Blessings

Good morning! Yesterday I needed two quick thank you cards for some of the girls in the office at the school. I didn't have time to think up some creative card ideas for each so I went with a twin motif. HA!!! Meaning they are very similar yet a bit different. I stamped Autumn Blessings using Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Classic White card stock.
Colored each of the beautiful images using Copic collections:

Die cut the image out using Spellbinders Classic ovals that I layered onto Color Made Easy Sunflower card stock and cut around. Matted this panel onto Color Made Easy Rich Brown card stock due cut into Decorative Ovals. Added some lace trim that my wonderful friend Pat sent me, Thank you girlie! Tied on one of them a Color Made Easy Sunflower Golden Rod ribbon bow and the other just a strip of the same ribbon. Added flourishes pearls to both and voila!  They both received these cards with a bouquet of sunflowers and daisies. They were pleasantly surprised! Thanks for stopping by. Have a fabulous day!

Sunny Daisies

Good morning! Hopefully you had a wonderful weekend. Our weekend was some what relaxing and much needed after the last week or so. I showed you last week one of the cards in the teachers note card set I created and today here is another one in the set. I stamped Gerber Daisies using Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Classic White card stock.
Colored with Copic Collections:

Very simple design since this is a note card with just a little designer paper for a back drop. Die cut Spellbinders Bracket Borders one using Color Made Easy Sunflower card stock.

Added a few rhinestones and some Suduko gel pen to the leaves, yet hard to see in the photo. Voila! Easy note card. Have a great day.

FS352 Christmas Wish

This weeks Featured Stamper 352 is Kristine aka Stampwithkristine. Congrats Kristine! Talk about a fabulous gallery and coloring skills that are outstanding. I choose this Winter Inspiration card to case. This also fits the November Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge Window Inspired. Looking out your window you see a cottage and snow!  I kept the layout, a cottage scene and the theme. Changed the Stamp, colors and papers. Enjoy your week Kristine!
I stamped Snow Wonderful using Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Classic White card stock. Colored my image with Copic collections:

Once colored I used Spellbinders classic oval dies to cut out the frame and layer with some Color Made Easy Poppy card stock. Then matted onto Spellbinders Opulant Ovals cut in Classic Kraft card stock. My decorative paper is from Teresa Collins Santa's List pack with a few snowflakes and jeweled center. A splash of sparkle on the snow and Voila! Have a wonderful day!

Winter blessings this season

Free for All Friday with Border

We’re delighted to bring you another Friday round of creations with the Senior Design Team at Flourishes! Today we’re getting in the cozy Christmas mood and showing off to you all that’s beautiful about the holidays at Flourishes, you’ll see some of our beautiful newer offerings for the season and some of our equally lovely past sets too. Time to be inspired for one of our favorite times to create cards for others!

The Winter Berries stamp set was calling my name earlier. This image is stamped on Classic White card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink.  Colored with Copic collections:

After they were colored I tried added some clear rhinestones to look like snow drops. However in looking at them afterwards it didn't turn out quite like I pictured. Too late now they are adhered to the leaves, now I have to work with it. ha!  Added a Classic Black card stock layer to the panel and adhered to some Classic White card stock that has a Spellbinders Curved Borders One. Along the edge I went ahead and added some red lace trim  that is on SALE for fun. And voila!
