Pretty Pansies

Good morning! Hope your day is started off wonderful. Monday I was playing in the stamp room and I thought about dusting off this old PSX stamp that is retired. Haven't created a fun fold in awhile so I thought a Z-Fold tutorial would be fun.  My Pansy image is stamped on white card stock and colored with various Copic markers. Only embellishments are a few pearls and some sparkles. A lovely Spellbinders Die down the side on the inside panel for fun. When this closes it lines up just to the right of the designer strip in the inside panel, it looks quite lovely.

Here is the card fully opened. Lots of room to write in this type of fold which is very nice to have. Voila! Hope you have a wonderful day!

FS440 True blessing

This weeks Featured Stamper 440 is Debra aka pdncurrier. Beautiful clean and simple style that everyone will surely enjoy today. I choose this Freshly made card to case. I kept the over all layout, a flower and CAS design. Changed the stamp, color and paper. Enjoy your week Debra!

My new Precious Poppies stamp came and I wanted to ink it up right away. The large poppy is stamped first on the base frame, then again so that it can be popped up with the petals trimmed between for a depth look. I do love how this turned out and I know the person who gets this is gonna love it too. Simple gingham backing strip and some sparkle. Voila!

Go Wild with roses

Happy Friday and sure hope you are staying cool in this heat. ACK!!!  Our electric bill is going to be horrid. 3 digits for the last few weeks is not good for our house or the bill we will get. What can you do though, right? Anyways.... enough of my whining. We have our Hang Some Paper challenge still going on for the month of July and your chance to WIN some goodies. Be sure to link up your beautiful creations as we would LOVE to see them!

My creation today is using the new Go Wild with a previously released digi Arranging Roses. I ADORE this image so much and knew it was perfect to go with my new (new to me) Carta Bella Baby Mine paper I just got. Stamped the image and colored with various Copic markers, then scored a border before I layered onto some soft pink card stock to match. Die cut the edge of the card base with Spellbinders die and then layered three of the papers in the pack on the card base. Wrapped some ribbon around and tied into a bow with some flourished jewels for fun. Voila!

FS439 Asters Abuzz

Good morning! This weeks Featured Stamper 439 is Jo Ann aka Sinclair. This girl likes easel fold cards I can tell right now.  ;-) I choose this 60th birthday card to case. I kept with flowers, similar colors, gilding, square and decorative shape. Changed the flower, gold instead of silver gilding, some colors and added a button and gold cord.
Hope you can play along!

My case was perfect to show off the new Asters Abuzz digi from Power Poppy today. Marcy has some wonderful inspiration behind this new digi over on the PP Blog. Be sure to check it out. Instead of the silver gilding mine is gold using the fabulous new gold krylon pen that my sweet friend Katie sent me. I was trying to think like Katie when I was using this and well, I need more practice as you can see. hee hee  The flowers are colored with various Copic markers. Some gold jewels for accent and a Spellbinders scalloped edge for the base. This beautiful Heart and Soul Collection was perfect for the background base and inside of the card you see below. Isn't this sentiment so sweet?
