Nasturtiums Shadow box Sneak Day one

Today is day one of Sneak Peeks for Flourishes May new releases. This new set is called Nasturtiums, now how that is said is beyond me. LOL I got this shadow box frame and altered it for a gift for my SIL who is moving into her new house here in a few weeks. This is the full view of the shadow box frame.

Here is a picture a little closer for you to see. I have some of the flowers popped up and the leavesl. I stamped the flowers in a black archival ink. Then I watercolored them and then went back over them with a marker to highlight some areas. I added some butterfly punches and some jewels. I used a sentiment from the set as well. If you stand from the side you can see more of the flowers along the sides, but from the front you only see some, I can't get a great picture without a ton of glares.

Here is an even closer picture. Please note that the lighting of set the camera in the background so it makes it look funny with my shadow. Sorry. hee hee Hope you have enjoyed day one. Be sure to check out the girls sneaks also below.

Wow, Stacy, this is so pretty. Your SIL will love it. What a clever idea and what a pretty set this is. My mom pronounced these (phonetically)....Nastershums so that's what they are to me. :)

Stacy - this is jawdroppingly cool. For not knowing how to pronounce nasturtium (it's nah-stir-shum) you SURE DO know how to color them, arrange them, and make them look stupendous!! How lucky is your SIL! :)
