Remember 9-11-01

Today when you are running errands, perhaps at work, dropping kids off at school please take a moment and remember those who lost their lives when the United States was attacked 8 years ago. I can remember where I was and what I was doing to this day. Lots of people lots their lives that day, and lots of lives were saved. Our men and women who serve to protect us ALL THE TIME day in and day out could use your thanks and prayers. God bless America!!!
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

This is beautiful Stacy. I remember my son was 18 days old. My hubby was on the East coast. I was so happy to hear his voice when he called. He usually took a flight to Boston but went to Conneticut instead. Still gives me goosebumps...Thanks for sharing.

Lovely tribute, Stacy, and a great reminder to pray for those who serve and protect our countries. GREAT and very fitting verse too!!

Even as a non-American I remember this happening. We were up watching late night TV here when the news feed switched and we saw it happen live. I was pregnant with my first child and wondered what kind of world we were bringing it into. It should never be forgotten - those who fail to learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.
