My mouth dropped on the ground when I saw this Sunflowers set. I can't be more excited for such a cool sunflower. The tiny ladybug on the leaf even is super fun. I am going to show you 2 cards with this set today. This first one I kept simple as I had a friends daughter over and she is wanting to get into stamping. She asked me to show her some easy sketches and some cute tricks that won't cost her a lot. Being 13 she really doesn't have a steady income other than mom and dad. LOL So ofcourse I had to show her how to score her borders, I mean what stamper doesn't score every border. bawhahaha Anyways I used Copic Collections Buttercup, Tiger Lily and Fields. I had a scrap paper from another card so I scalloped the edge and pierced it for a side panel. Then I used my fabulous lemon crochet trim. Added a few brads and voila. Now I do have some sparkle on the leaves petals but the camera just wouldn't pick it up in the photo.

Next I have used one of the smaller Sunflowers and sentiment from the set. I like this spellbinders label 7 and I use it a lot with sentiments I know but it looks so good. I used Copic collections Daffodil and Fields with a silver finishing touches architectural brad to tie off the layered ribbons.

Both cards are fabulous, and what a lovely way to teach a youngster the basics.

Oh my, I have no idea which one would be my fave! I love the one where you used the labels that look like a book-- so classy! Yet the other one with the colors you picked is... well just too pretty! Hope you had fun enabling the teen! LOL! I'm sure you two had a blast. :-)

Both beautiful Stacy....love that great layout on the first and the warm sunflower, and the book die is just perfect for the sentiment and sunflower on the 2nd card!
A beautiful job with these new stamps Stacy! I see that you sent Christine some crocheted hearts...are you willing to share the pattern? Let me know!
