Flourishes Birthday Bash and Blog Candy

Happy Friday and Happy Birthday to Flourishes! Five years ago, a little company based out of Florida was started around the kitchen table with three stamping friends at the helm. They put their heads together, gathered up some concepts and forged ahead to create what we now know and love... FLOURISHES! This little company has come a long, long way and has grown beyond our wildest dreams! It's been a fast five years and while we would love to look back - we're looking forward to the next five! So, let's light the candles and roll the music - we're ready for a birthday celebration! HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY FLOURISHES!!!
To get ready for next week's big August Stamp Release, we're ushering in a festive challenge! Not only will it celebrate Flourishes 5th birthday, but it will give YOU a chance to win our new release! So, put on your best party attire and get ready!
HOW TO PLAY: This challenge is going to be super duper easy peasy. Why? All you need to do is create a birthday creation. It could be a card, a tag, a 3-D object, ANYTHING! As long as it celebrates a birthday, you'll be in the running! Please remember, entries must be in by August 10th at 5PM EST to be eligible. If you upload to Splitcoaststampers, please use the key word FLLCAUG12. And, don’t forget to link up your creation right here on this post using the Inlinkz link widget below. Use Flourishes stamps if you have them — Flourishes entries will be counted twice! But, if you don’t have Flourishes, play along anyway, you could WIN some!
Now for my creation. I made some fun cupcake wrappers for the party. Aren't they just so fun? The butterflies are from Fanciful Flourishes that I stamped out a few different colors. Once they were cut out I used glue to adhere them to the toothpicks and added fairy dust to both side and some jewels. For my Birthday tag I used the sentiment from Kids Play and stamped it on a Spellbinders classic circle. Added some fairy dust to the decorative edge and glued that to a toothpick. The base of eachof the cupcakes is using several Spellbinders dies. These were so much fun to make.

The design team created all kinds of birthday goodies - from decorations to cards to invites to treat boxes -- you name it, they have been inspired! So, hop on over and see….

Before you go a hopping along, check out my Blog Candy below! I couldn't celebrate our 5th Birthday without some fabulous Flourishes goodies! Simply leave a comment on this post and you will be entered into the drawing. I use Random kid that comes running in here first to choose a number of those that entered. This blog candy will close August 14th 2012 at 9 am EST. I will announce the winner on August 15th 2012 with my post for the day. Hint hint... We have something fun for you August 15th. So you will be back here for sure! The only RULE I have for this is leave a comment and you would need to be a US resident. I am sorry it costs way too much to ship outside of the US especially since this weighs so much with the hardware goodies involved. Good Luck!

Thanks for stopping by! And, mark your calendar — the sneaks start next Tuesday with a fun-filled Timeless Tuesday challenge and another chance to win our entire release! Have a fabulous and creative weekend!
