FTTC Glamour Girls

Hello Flourishes Fans! We have a special treat for you today because we are kicking off the festivities for Day 1 of our Flourishes‘ Sneak Peeks for May and we have teamed up with the Friends of Flourishes Team to play along with the Timeless Tuesday Challenge this week. Want a little peek at the set we’ll be showcasing today?

Our Glamour Girls stamp collection, illustrated by Lauren Pope, is a fabulous collection of lovely ladies and some classic "girl talk" sentiments perfect for all those charming gals in your life. This classy stamp set arrives just in time for Mother's Day! What more can you ask for? Now on to our challenge… Denise Marzec is our Timeless Tuesday Challenge hostess this week and for her challenge this week, we want to see you use some "BLACK ACCENTS" (FTTC219) on your card or project. Let's see you use some black matting, black die-cut images, black ribbon, or try the ever-popular "chalkboard" technique that's popping up all over the blogging world.

Now this is classic black and white with a touch of pink. She reminds me of Audrey Hepburn so much, I just LOVE this set. You will be seeing a lot and I am not kidding you when I say a lot of creations from me with this set in the coming weeks. hee hee Anyways for this creations I stamped the image onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.
She is colored with several copic collections:

Once colored I die cut the oval with Spellbinders Classic ovals, then layered onto our Perfectly Pierced Victorian oval that is die cut with Classic Black cardstock. Added dimensionals to the back and set aside. My shape is with Spellbinders Resplendant Rectangles that has a layer of our Color Made Easy Candy Pink cardstock with designer paper from Echo Park Love Story. Added a few flourished pearls and some solid wrinkled black ribbon for a bow then my Glamour Girl panel. A few single snow white pearls to her braclet she has on and Voila! I LOVE this!
This card is for some of our closets friends daughet who is turning 16 this year. WOW! Time sure does fly as I can't believe she is turning 16. EEK... Anyways she likes the funky materials and leopard prints so I masked the gloves with some of the designer paper from the same Echo Park Love Story pack. This one I decided to draw a little black dress top to her and paper piece her sleek gloves with the designer paper. Still added the pearls to her wrist and a little purse charm to the ribbon. I know she is going to LOVE this!
For the inside I went ahead and stamped the pearls across the top and some of the designer paper to the bottom. Voila!

Today we have both our Flourishes Finest Design Team AND our Friends of Flourishes Team sharing their "Black Accents" inspirations with you! Take a moment and leave some love on all of our designers' blogs:
