Release Day, Blog Candy and more...

  Flourishes-Favorites
We’re wrapping up our January New Releases at Flourishes and we’ve had a fantastic time showing off these beautiful sets to you this week. Today the Senior Design Team brings you one more round of inspiration using any set from this release that their little hearts desire. We love the variety this month’s sets have to offer and we’re looking forward to showing you more!

I was into a yellow theme this week apparently as I colored these beautiful Peony in yellow shades today. :-)  My Peony from Flowers for Jan is stamped on Classic white card stock using Memento tuxedo black ink.
Colored with Copic Collections:

I die cut the flower using Spellbinders Classic Circles that I then layered onto a Color Made Easy True Blue card stock using Perfectly Pierced Classic Frames Die. Took a piece of scrap paper from the Echo Park Keepin Cozy paper pad and layered more CME True Blue and some CME Sunflower. Tied off a Color Made Easy Sunflower Antique Gold ribbon bow. The top corner is yes more of the Candi in a shimmery dark blue. I am loving these babies!! Stamped the sentiment and die cut using Perfectly Pierced Victorian Oval die and Voila!

First off GORGEOUS card! My favorite color is yellow so I just love it, plus you can never go wrong with blue and yellow as far as I am concerned! ;) Secondly my most favorite stamp set is the Hydrangea one, I tried to order it just a week or so ago with the rest of my order, it was ON the order, but when I received the box, it was crossed off! :( Chatted with Theresa she said that it may be discontinued.....BOO! (so on a side note if you or anyone else on the team has a Hydrangea set to sell, I would GLADLY buy it!) ;) Thank so much! Have a wonderful weekend! c_glass(AT)Verizon(DOT)net

Love your card....beautiful coloring. Great candy, Stacy! I have been a follower for some time. My favorite stamp set and most used is A Year of Flowers(all 3 sets since it hard to pick one of the 3) and Zinnias ranks as a favorite too. I just love the release Flowers for Jan and will have to have that one. As you can see, I love all the floral sets by Marcella.

Love the yellow peony - my Mom had mostly white, pink and red but one lovely yellow one too :)
And what's so easy peasy about choosing a favorite Flourishes set???? Goodness that is a tough one - can I saw 'all of the flower sets?' I guess I like the Old Tea Rose and the Anemones ones best right now if I HAD to narrow it down a bit.... :)

First off more yellow? lol.
Love this one, too.
You've inspired me to give yellow a try.
Favorite flourishes set? Easy? Are you kidding. I LOVE all my Flourishes babies but if I have to choose I think...
*from ones I've had it would be the That's a Wrap set.
*from my newbies it would have to be the Lots of Thought set.
But I do have to add I really do love all my others sets as well.
Thanks for sharing.
Crafty hugs,
D~

Beautiful! I love the yellow. It's so cheerful and your card is a bright and happy beauty. I don't know that I could pick a Flourishes' favorite, there are so many. I do love the fruits, and in the past I have thought perhaps the clematis was a favorite -- Blossoms and Butterflies I think it's called. I follow you on Bloglovin so I don't miss your posts anymore. Thank you for offering the blog candy, Stacy.

My favorite Flourishes set would have to be "From the Garden," there is lots to mix and match with that set. A close second is "Butterflies and Blossoms." I love your use of pattern papers on cards, sometimes it's significant and other times very subtle. Thanks for the opportunity to win a great prize. I enjoy visiting your blog.
