Happiest Holidays Collection Day 1

Yippee!!! The time has arrived! Are you ready for Power Poppy's Holiday sets?  Marcy is calling them our Happiest Holidays Collection, I am so excited! Just wait until you see all the creations and you will be just as excited as we are! Marcy has some fabulous inspiration behind these sets over on the Power Poppy Blog, so check it out! Today we are showcasing Bottlebrush Holiday!

This is a fairly straight forward long and low card. However the catch is I have a flap inside to hold a gift card or money! I stamped the Ho stamp three times across white card stock. Colored with Copic markers and added a scored border around the edge. Layered onto some real red card stock and added dimensionals to the back. Scored around the border of the base card stock as well and for fun a Spellbinders A2 Bracket Borders to the bottom with a few red jewels (yes they are red, silly photographer) and added the stamped panel. There is a little bit of sparkle on the sprigs at the top of each wreath for fun. Voila!

Be sure to check out the creations from the Bloom Brigade today:

Oh, Stacy, I so love your style!! Just love the "ho, ho, ho" image with the coloring and hint of blue next to the H. And your layout is so classy with the red matting and beautiful border die cut-out! What a clever idea to use as a gift card! (I need a couple of those each year!!) I can't wait to see more! Hugs, sweet friend!

I thought that looked like a money card or gift card holder! I love it; wish we could've seen the inside! Looking forward to seeing what you create over the next few days with the rest of the release!

Hi Stacy, I didn't leave comments yesterday and I want you to know that I do love your card. This Ho Ho Ho is definitely whimsical with the wreath being so cute. I love how you went width wise with it, like Elise, it's perfect for a money card for the teenagers and college kids in the family. Well done!

What a cute idea -- a flap inside for money? Brilliant! Love the way you added that decorative die cut edge -- it just makes your beautifully colored images POP! Fun stuff!

I love how you did this on the long horizontal card, and the cut out border adds a touch of elegance. Superb clean and simple sample, Stacy!
