A good read and some lilacs

Happy Friday! I don't know about you but this week was long and tiring. A good book and some fresh lilacs sound perfect right about now. Fortunately for me I have both, as my new book just came in AND I have this beautiful new Lilac stamp to play with.  ;-)  Don't forget the Power and Spark challenge for April is under way. You can read all about it HERE. Hope you can play along.

My card today as I mentioned is using the beautiful new Lilac Time stamp set. I stamped the vase image onto white card stock and colored with various Copic markers. A simple score around the border and added dimensionals to the back side. Die cut a Spellbinders border for the decorative edge and some scrap paper to cover the seams. Finished it off with a few pearls and voila!

Stacy, what a sweet card, perfectly set off with that border die!! You always make card making look easy and effortless! This time of year is so busy when your kiddos are in school; hope you can take a relaxing break soon. I just started reading more, too, and it sure helps me to relax. Maybe a bit too late into the night, though. :)

Such a pretty image this is and it looks so fresh and springy with all the white and that little bit of designer paper. I have to agree with Traci -- you make it look easy, but, really, it's just that you're so good at it!
