Holly Tidings

Happy Wednesday! In just a few short hours it will be the first of February and that means the new Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge will be posted up on SCS. This months challenge is fun, hope you can join us and get ahead start on the cards for the year.

My creation is using Holly Golightly which fits perfect for the month. Not to mention all my holly from Holly Jolly designer paper that is the base of the card. hee hee  I have never done a fold like this I think its called a double step card? Correct me if I am wrong. This sure was fun.
Now is how do I fold it to put in the envelope come December? ha ha  Guess I have sometime to figure that out. Anyways, I stamped the image and die cut using standard circle and scallop circle from Spellbinders dies. Added some jewels and sparkles to finish it all off. Voila! Hope you have a wonderful day.

I've never made a step card before, but have seen lots of samples. I love how you did yours, how you matched the papers to go with your image.
Well done!

What a beautiful side step card, Stacy, and I've never done more than a very (very) simple easel card. So you are way ahead of me by lightyears! Haha! But this is beautiful, and I love the DP and your beautiful focal image along with the great holly for the base and sentiment! Stunning card!! Hugs!
