Happy Friday! As you read this I am in the mountains on a camping-jeeping trip probably freezing my tush off since there is snow. What am I thinking? I will tell you... I love my husband that much. hee hee The things I do for that man. I enjoy it but the cold... not so much. On to my card that you came to see.
This is the latest digi from Marcy called Bowl of Beauty and it SURE IS! I LOVE this new digi. She out did herself with all the digi's in the "bowl" theme if you ask me.
Now my card is using two different pictures for my color inspiration. First is the deep pink/purple color combo for the Peony in this photo that I found on google. Sorry can't find it again to give the source, my bad. :-(
Isn't that so cool? I thought I can replicate that right... Well I tried to at least and it doesn't look too bad.
Then I used this idea from Marcy's photo she put up on IG with the speckals in the Peonies.
So back to my card again what do you think? Did I manage to get the essence of the flowers? A simple white background with some textured dots. A few pearl accents and a little bit of silver cord. Voila!

Ah Stacy, it’s beautiful, I LOVE the colouring on the tree peony especially!
No one can replicate God’s florals...but this is so pretty, Stacy!! Sure hope you didn’t freeze on your Jeep adventure!! You did a great job with this card!
Oh, Stacy, what a fabulous photo reference for your peony! It's stunning, and you've really made it look like that one. Beautifully colored and such a beautiful layout! I need to use my embossing folders more. Always inspiring me, my friend! Hugs and love! xoxo
